Swing? Is that a Midgardian term?
Oh it’s gigantic, alright. It takes me about twenty minutes to swing from one side of Manhattan to another, and that’s just Manhattan. New York state is, like, twenty times bigger than the city.

Oh, I've heard of New York. Lord Thor resides there. I did not think that city was very large until now.
It’s like a part of New York city, I guess.

Quote
The Æsir at once set about encouraging everything to weep. Snorri makes clear the mythic significance of this: ‘everything wept just as anybody can see things weep when they move from freezing temperatures to warmth’. Baldr symbolizes the spring, the thaw, new life after the sterility of winter.
From Asgard to Valhalla, Heather O’Donoghue (p. 76)

Brooklyn? Why, I've never heard of it. Is it a land? Another city, perhaps?
Uh—I’m Spider-girl, of brooklyn. Pleasure to meet you too, Nanna of Asgardia.

Disinterested? [The goddess lifts up her gaze, regally clasping her hands together.] As one of your title merely conjures up spells? Nay, no title simply demands the obvious, Amora. I serve the All-Mother and do as she would bid me to require, and on some occasions, the city needs me as a healer to help the sick and the wounded. But all a healer does is heal, correct?
I suppose that is good, as long as you shant get disinterested in it. [Amora smiles, the tips of her lips perking upwards in a friendly matter.] What does one such as yourself do all day? Just escort those to the All-Mother? [She hadn’t meant to sound rude at all, she was just curious as to how someone could spend all their life serving a single woman.]

'Tis just... I have not seen her since... No, before... [--Ragnarok, she thinks, but she cannot say it.]
I’m sure she would be.

Oh... I see. [It is not entirely new information to Nanna's ears; even she had heard of such things walking past the gossiping ladies in corridors and halls.] Nay, serving the All-Mother is a great honor. I am thankful to be given the honor at all.
I haven’t been of the best nature recently. I’ve had a lot of quarrels with some of the other young maidens of Asgard. But I suppose other than that, things seem to be well. How is forever serving the All-Mother? Dost thou ever simply get fatigued?

No. 'Tis all right. I only wanted to make sure she was well.
I don’t believe I have, no. I’m sorry.
