dont have much to say about 1121, the art direction in this one was quite beautiful , from the "drastic" style changes(from the simple block colouring to the super extra detailed fight scenes) to the action animating (or whatever its called(still not a big fan of that one but its growing on me)) , the perspective shots and colour contrast/usage really drives home the story this one episode tells . i really love how you can tell the flashback is a flashback from the very subtle and almost not even there dull colour choices , if they didnt have the black borders youd still be able to tell , aswell as the perspective angles the flashback scene had.

there were quite a few more moments i wanted to screenshot but i wasnt fast enough to catch them and or they look better as an animation (which i cannot screenshot :( .)

this episode really made me enjoy garps character more on a deeper level .

idk why i wasnt expecting the funny old man that doesnt know how to raise a child (normally at least) to have such a deep story

be curvy or get scurvy -nami probably

i really liked the idea some other artists have of nami being curvy after joining the crew due to having not to worry about arlong and paying to live

i kinda hate how it turned out but ive been hanging on this idea for a week now and just wanted it done

it took a bit for episode 1119 to appear on the site i use to watch anime on (living that pirate lifestyle) but the wait was definitely worth it,

not only for the surprising story reveal towards Vivis name or  saudade("nostalgic") backstory flashback of Sa D. bo (:P) but also the beautiful showcase of Sabo's (formerly Ace's) devil fruit powers , aswell as the heartwarming name of one of the attacks - Fire Fist - alluding to Ace's name on his bounties, be it a coincidence or not .

been going through the egghead arc steadily and there's already quite a few moments that i'll definitely remember,

not only the character designs being very well done (strawhats new outfits aswell as all the vegapunks and new marine admirals) , the animation looked more lively at times, as if to accommodate the brand new gear 5th and its absolute silliness, although it did feel as if there were more than normal amount of frames in certain parts with some characters moving in interesting ways

i cant wait for more episodes to see even more beauties to obsess over :3

recently i finally finished wano arc and oh my god, the amount of beautiful and breath-taking moments i had to just screenshot is unbelievable.

many more that i haven't even had the chance to screen cap just because they'd look even more beautiful animated instead of standalone like the ones pictured above.

i absolutely love the way this arc played around with styles that differed from he norm of one piece, the linework resembling that of old asian art on many occasions ,

the colour/lighting choices are just mouth-watering and contrast so greatly to the usual slightly dull colour direction making them stand out even more making the moment even more memorable and significant
