As an actress and entertainer our needs are our second. It might not seem that way but they are. If the show starts, we have to show up with 1000%. We can’t let our life affect it. We have to suppress our feelings and life traumas to get through the work day to please OTHERS. Which is ALOT more strenuous on a humans mental health for a career than most. When you take on the responsibility to make others happy, to keep others going you neglect your own.

I was in and out of jail my early twenties for drug use/possession. But I swear- this personal jail I’m in every day is no different. Once you spend time in jail/prison they say how hard it is on the “outs” but you never truly know how to act regardless. In jail or not.
