"The Famous" Justin Reno Takes On "WWE Legend" The Honky Tonk Man
What happens when an upstart like Justin Reno comes face-to-face with a wrestling legend like The Honky Tonk Man? That's what Elite Pro Wrestling wants to know, so they're making it happen. "The Famous" Justin Reno and "WWE Legend" The Honky Tonk Man plan to meet in the ring on September 14.
The Honky Tonk Man has been wrestling since before Reno was born, and has been affiliated with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and The World Wrestling Federation, now known as WWE. The future hall of famer (is there any doubt?) is best known for being the longest reigning WWE Intercontinental in history, a title he held for a record one year, two months, and 27 days.
Asked how he felt to be wrestling the WWE Legend, Reno replied, "I wonder if Honky Tonk Man is as excited as he SHOULD be to be wrestling The Famous Justin Reno in September. Don't worry though, I won't let any of my fame rub off on him!"
Reno first stepped into the ring as a professional wrestler on February 6, 2010. Since then he's made a name for himself around the midwest, working with 7 Rivers Wrestling; Dynasty Pro Wrestling; Elite Pro Wrestling (EPW); IWA Midwest; Metro East Championship Wrestling (MECW), where he was the youngest ever heavyweight champion; NWA Wisconsin; Pro Wrestling BLITZ; The Wrestling Show; Windy City Pro Wrestling (WCPW); and Wrestling Past, Present, and Future (WPPF).
Mark your calendars now! Elite Pro Wrestling will feature the two wrestlers as The Main Event on Friday, September 14 in Tomah, Wisconsin.

Justin Reno at BLITZ High Stakes
This isn't over...
Justin Reno challenged Jimmy Rockwell for the No Limits Championship at Pro Wrestling BLITZ High Stakes on April 28, and the crowd was solidly behind him, chanting "Let's go Reno, let's go!"
After a series of aggressive moves, Reno was down and almost out when the fans' frantic cheers of "Reno! Reno!" seemed to will him back to his feet. In the end, though, some "interesting" tactics prevented a Reno victory. Check out the match and see if you agree with the sentiment in this tweet:
Enfinity1prod Enfinity1Productions @TheJustinReno You just gotta have a rematch there! Get that manager excluded or take him out one on one #THEBIGPAYBACK!

Wrestler Justin Reno to Appear on KMUZ Happy Hour
Justin Reno is scheduled to banter with KMUZ's Happy Hour host Kevin Lee this Sunday. Yeah, we know it's Easter, but you know Reno's worth it. Seriously, the guy can talk wrestling.
The Oregon-based Happy Hour Show is a variety program featuring top music and entertaining guests...and who's more entertaining than Reno? Happy Hour loves wrestling and recently hosted Diamond Dallas Page and Percy Pringle III, a.k.a. Paul Bearer, of WWE fame. It seems only natural that they'd bring Reno into the mix.

"That was awesome!"
Justin Reno showed no mercy when he took the MECW heavyweight championship title away from Bailey Mannix last December, but Mannix seems to have gotten his revenge.
A brutal March 31 match between Reno and Eric Allen featured Mannix -- as the referee. The former champ wasn't above taking a few shots at Reno himself, and his counting style...well, watch the match and judge for yourself
Mannix appeared to take particular pleasure in a rapid-fire 1-2-3 count, ending Reno's MECW championship reign...for now, anyway. The crowd could be heard chanting, "That was awesome...That was awesome," seeming to appreciate the irony of it all.
Reno's spring/summer schedule is filling up quickly -- don't miss your chance to see Reno live!
