Jaina shook her head “No way...I wanna be like dad or be a pilot...” The words tumbled quickly out of her mouth before she even knew what to do. It wasn’t anything she hadn’t said before. In fact she was constantly informing their mother that she’d learn basic Jedi skills but then she wanted to fly.
Jacen had been gone long enough that he hadn’t realized that his little sister and her dreams had changed. “If your a black sheep than so am I because neither of us want it...”
Jacen sighed before giving a nod of agreement, “Surely. And it should be you.” he admitted. “ you’re the one that truly desires this. But– they sent me here to fix me, Jaina. They think I’m broken. The black Sheep. And I grow tired of it.” he murmured before standing up again. “ all I want is to go home. Though if you were to stay with me, I might just make it through this onslaught. ” he said,“ I will speak to our uncle. Perhaps I can talk him into training us both together. ”

the most simple things could mean a lot to your characters : every headcanon counts.

HAVE FUN !!!! RP-ing is a hobby, not a job. don’t ever feel obligated to do something that you don’t want to do/ don’t feel comfortable doing. your blog should be your safe space.

Jaina looked at him with slightly confused eyes. To her, Jacen was already the best. She knew she’d never be as good in the force as he was so she didn’t even try. In fact, she didn’t even really want to come to train to be a Jedi. What she missed was the days when she’d follow Jacen around like a little shadow. So she asked her mother if she could go. Reluctantly, the answer was yes.
“I guess the family needs at least one kid to be a Jedi huh?” She said quietly glancing down at the ground as she dug her feet into the earth. “Still though...momma does miss you...”

Jacen shook his head, “Everyone annoys me. You haven’t. Despite what I may have said.” he murmured and stood, looking over the training sword again before tossing it. “Given the choice, there are others far more deserving.”
He turned to face her again, “I cannot come home, Jaina. This is my life now. That of a jedi. ” he sighed, “ I’m not going to give up. I’d rather stay here and train then remain at home and hope mother will actually come and visit us.”
