Pleased t' meet ya. I'm Molly O'Sullivan; born in Ireland, served as a VAD in the Great War, and met a mysterious man called 'The Doctor'. Oh, and if ya call me 'Dark Eyes' you'll be getting a punch on the nose.
Don't wanna be here? Send us removal request.

Molly huffed at the awkwardness of the situation, but managed to raise her arm and slip it inside the Doctor’s jacket, then inside his pocket. She’d thought finding his sonci screwdriver would be easy - it was, after all, large and distinctive - but was proved wrong as soon as she started rummaging round.
“What have ya got in here? How does everything even fit? And how am I meant to find it?” She huffed again and dug her hand deeoer, searching for the cool metal of the device.

“Well-” The Doctor mused with an attempt at a smile, even as he was pressed nearly his entire length up against her. “The good news is, no one will ever suspect we’d have managed to get two people in here, so they probably won’t open the door.” Sadly reluctant to provide her with the rest of the information, he continued with a little wince, “The bad news is- I believe that door locks from the outside.”

Molly raised an eyebrow. “How far’s the nearest village? Surely ya must go there sometime? Fon’t ya get lonely up here? Your Da’s right - you shouldn’t just sit here waitin’ for people to turn up just because I did.” She was scolding him, she knew, but there was fondness in her voice as she spoke.
It wouldn’t do for him to live in seclusion all his life. And yet he hadn’t: in that other life, when he was older, he’d had a family but lost them all. She hoped he wouldn’t have to endure that again.
Molly glanced round at the setting, understanding why he might enjoy the peace and solitude of the fields and mountains. On a girlish impulse she slipped off the rock ro sit on the soft grass, and reached to pick a couple of clowers. She hadn’t made flower chains since she was a girl, but this place made her feel carefree enough to remind her of those times.

Molly was sure she’d only been away for a few minutes to tend to another patient, but now she was back beside the mysterious woman, who was beginning to wake up. The curious thing was how healed the supposedly fresh burns looked, and how all the minor scrapes and cuts had gone. The VAD simply shook her head and dismissed it: whether she’d imagined it or not didn’t matter, but it was no concern of hers if this woman had some sort of ability to heal herself. She’d seen stranger, after all.
At the patient’s second call for a Doctor, Molly gestured at one of the younger girls to go find a Doctor as she watched the woman slowly wake. “Hello, I’m Molly. There’s a Doctor comin’, you just lie still there ‘n’ wait.”

Benny should rightfully have been dead after been hit by a Dalek in her attempt to find the Doctor and been caught in a explosion shortly afterwards. And yet she was still alive. She was wearing a TARDIS chain around her neck which glowed on/off.
Benny mumbled as a slight glow over her body begun to heal her own injuries as they always did but she didn’t immediately open her eyes, instead begun to call out for the Doctor. After a few moments her eyes flicked open, viewing the stranger beside her.

Molly’s eyebrows shot up. “I’ll not be reachin’ inside ya clothes, Doctor, I don’t know what kind o’ woman ya think I am.” Despite her words, Molly reached for his pocket, struggling to squeeze her arm from its position at her side to between their bodies. “Your jacket pocket? The inside one?”

It was strange, hearing her name said by a voice that was simultaneously familiar and different. She’d always liked the way he said her name, but coming from a younger, healthier, happier voice sounded even better. She smiled awkwardly and sat down; she was a stranger to him, and yet she already knew him and what he was willing to sacrifice for the ‘greater good’. The Doctor would probably come and bother her in a moment to get going, so she was going to make the most of this time while she had it.
“A job’s a job - it doesn’t have ta be excitin’ or anythin’ like that, and an honest livin’ is th’ best kind.” Molly was rambling, she knew it, but she wanted to talk and find out more about it: he’d given his life for her, after all. “So, d’ya have a family?”

Mary cast an uncertain glance at her grandmother, who nodded in encouragement that she should speak. “I was doing a handstand and my brothers ran over me with their bikes. I landed on it funny when Shaun knocked me over and then Ed ran over it because he didn’t stop in time. It hurts but nana said to keep it still and she knows everything because she’s a nurse, so I kept it still and she brought me here to see you so you can fix it. You’re very pretty.”
Mary wasn’t one to be shy, so the deluge of speech was no surprise to Molly, who smiled at her granddaughter’s confidence as the young girl waited expectantly for the doctor to magically fix her wrist.

It wasn’t often their patients were women, but sometimes civilians, nurses, or VADs were caught in the crossfire, usually in some sort of explosion, and were brought to the nurse with the rest of the wounded soldiers. Most of their female patients were nurses or VADs who’d taken sick, like poor Kitty, but this patient who’d been presented to Molly was nothing of the kind. It looked like she had burns all along her right arm, probably from shielding herself from the heat, and a nasty but small piece of shrapnel in her right thigh.
Although it looked like it was more embedded in her clothes than her flesh, Molly left the shrapnel for the next doctor that came by, and instead set to work on cleaning and dressing the burn. The patient’s eyes were closed, so it was hard to tell if she was conscious, but Molly murmured encouraging phrases while she worked, and hoped that they offered at least a little bit of comfort to the stranger.

Molly sighed and glanced up at the clock, and then back at her granddaughter where she sat on the medical bed looking sorry for herself, her wrist resting awkwardly on her lap. Normally, Molly wouldn’t feel much pity for the children when they injured themselves through their own misadventures, but for once it hadn’t been poor Mary’s fault. She’d been doing handstands in the garden - a fairly low risk activity - but wasn’t to know that the twins would decide the conditions were perfect for racing round the garden on their bikes. The poor girl got hit by one and run over by the other before anyone even knew what was happening, leading to another trip to A&E.
They’d been seen by the first medic to take details, and had been shown to a a bed to wait, which was where they’d been for the last fifteen minutes.
#i was gonna add an icon but then it turned para#paras easier anyway#apurekindness#never actually rped with kiara so this will be fun :3#[accident prone]

“Forecast my arse, have ya never heard o’ April showers?” She scowled at him. “An’ shove over, you’re takin’ up all the room.” She cuddled closer to him, though would deny there was any cuddling involved in any way.

Hi Molly! How are your grandchildren?
“They’re all well thanks, all five o’ them. Though some o’ them are regular walkin’ accidents I have t’ say. Mary breaks somethin’ practically every few minutes, and the twins are almost as bad. At least Pippa knows how to handle herself, an’ Isobel is too buried in books to get anythin’ more than a papercut.”

“Well at least that’s-” Molly broke off as she heard the rest of the ‘news’. “Locks from the outside?!” Her voice had risen, and, cringing, she returned to an agitated whisper. “Ya mean ya didn’t think o’ that when ya shoved me in here? So the ‘good news’ is in fact the bad news, ‘cause no-one’s goin’ t’ look for us in here?” She kept her gaze firmly on one of the Doctor’s curls, trying to ignore the awkward proximity of their bodies.

Molly shoved the umbrella into Fitz’s hand for him to hold so that she wouldn’t keep hitting him on the head. “Well it would serve ya right if ya did. Comin’ out without a coat, of all the daft things t’ do.”

Do you miss travelling with the Doctor?
“Well, I do an’ I don’t. On the one hand there’s all those wonderful places he showed me, but on the other hand, there’s me family, an’ nothin’ can quite compare with them.”
