The Serious Theater. Theater is Mother of all drama related genres and industries. In order to learn "how to" we need to have a closer look at the beginning of the road. There is a nice description of that: An Actor enter, put the little rug down and The Theater began. So, it's The Human Space.

Masterclass on Stanislavski
Here is a great opportunity for joining Masterclass on Stanislavski’s approach to rehearsal and actor training. Here is a description of Masterclass. You also can bring your own scene that you’d like to work on. You can even bring a partner for this scene that you need to work on or the one that is your favourite.
“Stanislavsky Approach: Actor in training and rehearsal. This Master Class is designed to suit you whatever your ability or level of experience. Professional actors who would like to upgrade their skill to next level of acting through deeper understanding of Stanislavski’s System of Actor training as well as novice who would like to understand the Psychology–Physicality—Spontaneity will enjoy this master Class and will gain the freedom of creativity. Class consist of two Saturdays workshops from 10 am to 5 pm. During the first workshop, students will learn: * A contemporary approach to the Stanislavsky System. * Method of etudes (training the actor through focused improvisations). * Special exercises designed for cultivating presence on the stage. * Special exercises designed for the development of a role. * Imaginary physical conditions and physical life. * Physical action, psychology and imagination in given circumstances. * Improvement of the actor’s interactiveness. * Selections from Chekhov plays rehearsed through acting etudes. The scenes provided. He second Saturday will continue the work on the scenes in order to present them at the end of the day. Konstantin Sergeyvich Stanislavski Born in Moscow in 1863, Konstantin Sergeyvich Stanislavski had a tremendous affect on the art of acting. Having experience as an actor, producer and director, he asserted that the theatre could not be meaningful unless it moved beyond mere external representation, which was the style of acting at the time. Over a span forty years he created an approach that brought the psychological and emotional aspects of acting to the forefront.
In the United States today, Stanislavski’s theories are the primary source of study for many actors. Among the many great actors and teachers to use his work were Stella Adler, Marlon Brando, Harold Clurman, Sanford Meisner, Bobby Lewis, Uta Hagen, Marian Seldes, Wynn Handman, and Lee Strasberg. Many artists continue to demonstrate the potency of Stanislavski’s powerful ideas in their work.
