Blaise: there he is, my future husband
Hermione: you guys are the most adorable
Harry: last time you said it about me and Draco and I know he takes it very seriously to be literally the most adorable
Hermione: oh fuck
Hermione: Draco I didn’t mean that you guys are less adorable or
Draco: don’t worry, Harry, I am not getting offended or anything from that previously mentioned person
Hermione: “previously mentioned”?
Harry: I think he means “bitch”

Potter and Granger-Weasley cousins.
They were practically raised as siblings. Charging Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny for all their mischief they did in their student years.

Bonnie Wright is such a talented actress she is the perfect ginny. Many abuse her that she made ginny boring, etc, etc but it's the filmmakers fault who didn't focused on ginnys character in movies, they also spoiled Ron character, just focused on Harry and hermione. They didn't show the chemistry between Harry and ginny, just " NICE SKIN" in movies and there sweet moments like the first kiss in common room and in the movie it was in the room of requirements, I mean seriously.

Tell me why the series is centered around the golden trio, and I’ve literally put more thought, care, and characterization into two characters that have been dead the whole series and their two three traumatized friends who get five minutes of page time.

'Star Wars' and 'Harry Potter' are two franchises that try to claim, textually, that it doesn't really matter who your family is whilst showing subtextually that it unequivocally does matter who your family is.

Random question: are there any names you particularly like or dislike for transfem!Harry?
i actually really like @ink-splotch‘s interpretation, where she just keeps using the same name because it helps her feel closer to her parents --
Harry had thought about changing her name-- to Lily, maybe. But she liked the way Harry sounded-- shouted across Quidditch pitches; hissed by Ron outside her barred window in a flying car, freckled and grinning-wide; the name her parents had given her. It was hers. Very little was hers-- Hedwig, a locked bank vault she'd happily trade for two living parents-- but this was.
especially because “Harry” is a fitting name for a ratty little jock with messy hair and the sharpest quidditch moves you’ve ever seen, regardless of gender. it’s also obviously got the benefit of being pretty gender neutral (people may consider Harry to be a boy’s name, but nobody bats an eye when a woman introduces herself as Harry)
i do quite like “Lily” for her middle name, because i think it’s one that she’d choose herself, which is the point important part. most people, when trying to come up with a name for transfem!Harry, will try and find a name that sounds similar (like Harriet, or Hannah), or one that means the same thing, but honestly i’d focus more on what you think she’d name herself, because that’s what a lot of cis authors lose from understanding trans characters; when you’re trans, a name is a Choice (even if that choice is to not change your name) not just a limited reimagining of oneself
i personally really genuinely believe that were Harry a trans girl, she would probably think for a long time over what to change her name to, and eventually decide that she actually liked it better the way it was.
that’s just my two cents though!
