Do not worry, please. Since I am connected to the author's story, I have no problem about discussing this.

I mean, my opinion is my opinion and everyone can have their own opinion on the internet as long as it is not aggressive with anyone else.

To answer your question, I have always liked Shinoa and Yuu because they both play a big role in each other's development.

Shinoa is the one through whom Yuu manages to make friends, and that is very important for a boy who had suicidal thoughts.

And Shinoa learns from Yuu what it means to have something to live for, a passion, a purpose.

I mean, they both help each other in development and that is what I appreciate the most. I see them as a couple when they are both adults, if their cruel universe will allow them to both be adults.

I also love Guren and Mahiru's story. It is tragic and Mahiru's actions seem horrific. But what is hidden in the heart of that 16-year-old girl is more human than it seems. The fact that she has to fight such a terrible burden makes me sad...

Especially since her last wish before becoming a demon was for her to be reborn as an ordinary girl.

Regardless, she and Guren had a love story, albeit a terribly painful one.

So, these are my "ships". I have a lot of respect for the author's story and I am here for whatever he writes.
