Harry Potter OC Bio - Isaac Gibson

Hey everyone, this is the first in my series of Harry Potter OC revamps! I thought I'd update the brothers Danny and Isaac, my HL-era OCs because it's been five years since I first started working on them. This bio features an OC belonging to one of my friends and mutuals, @melodymidway. Thanks to @helenadurazzo for help with ideas too! Hope you all enjoy!

Born six years after his older brother Danny, Isaac spent the first years of life in a rough home. His brother had to constantly protect him from the wrath of their drunk, abusive father Wallace, driven mad by his job as an Unspeakable. When they could they spent much time in the woods surrounding their home in West Virginia, where their mother was training to be an advanced potioneer. Danny had to take over most of the household chores as his father would disappear to gamble away the earnings or who knows what. Isaac was only a little boys and could only barely comprehend what was going on, his family and home were broken, not safe and couldn't be fixed.

The young boy's symbolism of innocence and hope was one of the things that inspired them to keep on going until their mother Rue was able to secure passage away. Wallace, or Wally as he used to be known, seemed charming and helped get Rue a very lucrative potioneering job but now he was a dangerous madman. Somehow she managed to complete a divorce from him, which enraged him when he found out. He was about to badly hurt Isaac. Danny had to knock out the father with a frying pan and panicked until his little brother pointed out he was still breathing, just knocked out.

That was the moment of Rue and her sons to leave behind their house of nightmares. She felt her best chance was to move back to England to her family in Exeter, Devon. They were modestly renowned and could help her and the boys get on her feat, but Isaac was still too young yet, only four years old. Before she left for the city to board a steamship across the Atlantic, she entrusted her young son to a couple who owned a farm. The goodbye was very emotional but the farmers assured Rue they would look after Isaac with love and kindness.

For six years, Isaac lived on the farm. He loved the nature around the vast property and helping out with chores. On such a big land though with not many folks to see, he felt lonely and missed his mother and Danny. One day though, a family stopped by and stayed at the farm for a short time while on vacation. They were the Ellingtons and had a daughter Isaac's age, Hyacinth @melodymidway. She was shy and had a hard time reaching out to people, but loved the farm and grew comfortable around Isaac. When the family left, she and Isaac agreed to be pen-pals and write letters to each other periodically.

Around age 10, the farm began to go south The owners were at a point where they could no longer look after the property and had to sell it. They sent Isaac back into the care of Rue in England, where he was reunited with her Danny. He adjusted to his new home with his family's help and was ecstatic when he found out he'd be attending Hogwarts with Haycinth.

They were both sorted into Ravenclaw. Isaac was a positive and inspiring figure throughout his years studying at the castle. He was at first intimidated by the Sorting Hat's discovery of his sharp mind and acuity and worried about how he'd live up to the reputations of the house's greatest alumni. It was also easy for bullies to take advantage of Isaac as he was somewhat gullible. The fear of being subject to the torment and being punished for it sometimes made Isaac withdraw from others. He however managed to push past these hurdles and had an accomplished Hogwarts career. Isaac was constantly supportive of Haycinth in negotiating her own challenges as a seer, and had a strong relationship built up over many years of knowing each other.

As an adult, Isaac took on a job as a diplomat for the Department of Magical Cooperation.

In a case where he feel in love with Hyacinth and got married, they are able to have regular contact through their work. She was an Unspeakable in charge of the Hall of Prophecy in the Department of Mysteries. Her career choice was a cause for concern at first for the Gibsons but they warmed up to it when Isaac found out during his internship that the diplomatic service had a good working relationship with the Hall of Prophecy.

Isaac must travel a lot for his job. Whenever work takes them away from each other, they long for each other's company. While Isaac loves traveling and seeing new locales, it gets to him sometimes too, but Hyacinth tries to join him whenever she can. If not they send letters and postcards to each other like when they were younger. They find great time together in the peaceful countryside, away from the busy cities.

Isaac Gibson is the great-grandfather of my Hogwarts Mystery MC, Cato Reese.

Got to ensure she is full desi look rocking the gold. Yes Akshara has a belly button piercing and a nose piercing, she wears them when she wears sarees or any other day wear when she wants. It's normal in her culture to have such body jewellery
