((So I’ve been gone for a while. Sorry about that. Just had a lot going on recently. Things calmed down and I’ll try to get to everything in my drafts this weekend. I’ll try to be a little more active. And a big hey to all of the new followers. :) Shoot me an ask whenever! ))

"It sounds like she'll grown up to be taller than both of us!" Dende said with a small laugh. It was good to see Krillin again. Other than Bulma's parties he didn't get to see the other man often. "I'm glad to here you're doing well. I hope the same thing goes for 18 and Marron."
"Hey there Krillin! Long time no see. What have you been up too?"
"Hey Dende! Not much.. raisin’ a family and all, Marron’s growin’ up pretty fast." A sweatdrop and a cold sweat broke down near his forehead. "She’s already taller than I was at 13!”

Dende looked towards the anon with an annoyed expression on his face. He didn't understand why it was so hard for some people to remember his name. "....My name is Dende."
Gohan, I can't find lil' green anywhere.
"Little Green…? Do you mean Dende? I know Krillin likes to call him that a lot!"

The attack on the nameless town was something no one saw coming. The day had started like most others and was going fine up until noon when the first assault began. Dende felt helpless in the beginning. He could do only little to prevent harm from coming to the townspeople. It were moments like this were he cursed not being able to do more.
A few Z fighters came to the cities aid and afterwards things seemed to calm down though there were many hurt. Fortunately, no one appeared to be dead or dying. Most everyone was being taken of though there was one fading ki that catch his attention. The Namekian guardian focused on it and with his inner eye viewed a girl laying motionless on the ground. Within seconds he was at her side, healing hands only a few inches from her body and glowing brightly. "I might not be able to fight, but I can sure prevent any deaths." He muttered to himself.
Meeting someone different.
Lucinda had a big day, walking down town was good today, sunny and bright, but that was not the case, some mean looking creature has been blowing up parts of the town later on that day, and the female was stuck there, and in bad shape, she felt like she was flying but she couldn’t tell, so she stayed in her sleep like state, she felt numb, like she been hit with a truck hard.

It was easy for Dende to forget that fact due to his excitement, despite being told that earlier. He frowned to himself when the other Namekian’s eyes were cast at the ground. "Oh right…I guess you wouldn’t see anyone being from Earth." He tried to laugh it off in an attempt to lighten the now downing mood, but the laugh turned into an uncomfortable one. He mentally kicked himself for forgetting she had little to no interaction with any other member of their race. Though knowing that made him a little sad. He couldn’t imagine growing up without his brothers at his side. "I’m sorry. " He apologized. A thought popped into his head a few seconds after. "Maybe…if you’re interested, I could tell you a little more about the planet Namek and our race?"
"I-its quite alright! No need to apologize. Its only natural that someone would ask, right?"
The namek stated with a smile at the young namekian in front of her. She, then, gave a somewhat nervous laugh. “Its very rare for me to see any of my kind as well…considering I was born on earth…I-I dont even know much about our race…” She said truthfully, looking downwards.

The excitement that radiated off of Dende was instant. A huge smile crossed his small, green face. He would finally get to see Kame house and visit Krillin. Maybe he would even see Bulma again!
Dende was quick to follow as soon as Gohan jumped, but stopped short before hopping off himself. He looked over his shoulder at the Look Out doors, wondering if maybe he should have asked Mr. Popo or Piccolo if it was alright for him to leave. 'It'll only be for a few hours...I'll be back before they even notice!' Within seconds of that thought he was right behind his friend.
He speed up a little bit to keep up with the other as the ground grew closer. When they were side by side, he looked over and asked, "How long will it take to get there?"
"Sure! It’ll be great to see everyone again!" The prospect of visiting all of his friends only worked to stretch Gohan’s smile and excitement more. Weeks had passed since his mother granted him a prolonged vacation from his school studies (minus the few secret excursions he took in the woods, but she needn’t know that), and he couldn’t wait to hear everyone’s stories. To the best of Gohan’s memory, Krillin had taken Android 18 on a first date, as outlandish as that sounded, and Bulma was at work on a new gadget, with its ulterior purpose still to be determined. To be able to see all of those familiar faces again…it brimmed his heart with a boundless zeal.
Racing to the edge of the Look Out, Gohan exclaimed, “C’mon, Dende! I’ll show you where to go!” before he dove headfirst into the pool of trees below.

"Are you sure....?" She didn't seem alright, but how alright can a person be when they just came face to face with a green skinned alien. Maybe he was more of a fright than he originally thought? There's was still concern on Dende's face as he looked at down at her. "Ah, well would you like help getting up than?" He asked as he hesitantly extended his hand. With her reaction before, he wasn't certain she would take his hand or scoot away from him.
He stood there, hand out stretched and the other holding onto his staff. He wondered who exactly this girl was and why she had come to the Look Out. It seemed lately there were people interested in the old stories of the floating temple in the sky. Could it be she just came to see if the legends were true?
His response came in a low, restrained whine. Odd, for a human.
Nostrils flared, ears twitching. Meredith used every one of her senses to asses the situation quickly. Something about this young…alien lad. Something is off. No not the green skin. Not the fact that he’s an alien. No, something that just rattled her bones the wrong way. With no answer, the child had used up every form of telling what exactly this character is. Sight, smell, sound—
Meredith flinched. Words. Words, words WORDS, YOU FOOL! How is it so difficult, that after four years, FOUR YEARS, of being reintegrated in to human society, it is still so difficult to grasp that words are something people use to ask questions. None of this sniffing or chuffing. No, they just ask questions, like he did.
Brushing aside her mental beat-down for later, the child opened her mouth to use such words. “Yes.”
Brilliant use of words. Just….brilliant.

Dende took a few more steps until he was standing next to the half-saiyan. He gave a little shurg. "No reason. I just never heard it before. It sounded pretty nice." When it came to icons and things like that, the namekian new absolutely nothing about them. "I don't normally hear you humming much. I guess it sort of took me by surprise."
"Hmm?" Gohan asked, opening his dark colored eyes as he turned his head a little to the side so he could see who it was that just recently spoke to him. "Oh. It’s… it’s called ‘Ievan Polkka’. And it’s sung by some sort of Japanese Icon known as Hatsune Miku. Why do you ask, Dende?"

Dende didn't completely agree. Though he might have been the Guardian of Earth and the creator of the currant dragon balls, but he viewed Goku and the other fighters with a much greater amount of respect than he did himself. In his mind they were the ones that did the real guarding. However, he wasn't about to reject any sort of praise sent his way, especially if it was from Goku, "Well thanks. It means a lot to me that you think that." "Mr. Popo told me a lot about him. He sounded like a great guardian and a really good friend." Dende smiled as he recalled some of the stories the genie had told him in the past. "It sounds like I have some pretty big shoes to fill." The namekian gave another laugh when Goku finished his meal. "You're welcome. Anytime you want a meal, feel free to stop by. It's nice having company once in a while."
"Well, Dende if it wasn’t for you and your Dragon Balls, the Earth probably wouldn’t be here right now. So thanks to you as well!" Dende had always seemed to doubt his ability as guardian but Goku was sure that Dende made Kami proud.
"I wish you could’ve met Kami, you would have been fond of him. I’m sure of it!" Goku finished his meal and rubbed his stomach slowly. "Wow, I’m full. That was great! Thank you so much!"

Dende looked towards the direction the voice came from. The other was completely hidden, but from the sound of it’s voice he figured it was female. He ears picked up subtle movements around him though it was hard for him to follow them. The voice came from one direction while the movement was in another. "I sensed a strong power level I never felt before." He replied as he closed his eyes and attempted to focus on the female's ki instead of the sounds around him. There was the worry that this power level belonged to someone who wasn't exactly friendly. For all he knew this could be a new enemy.Taking a deep breath, he tried to balance ki sensing and speaking. "My name is Dende. I'm the guardian of this planet."
Noticing that the other was not that of a human but of an alien origin. She used her hunter like skills to stay on her toes and stay hidden out of sight. The last thing she wanted was to be sent back to that ship, to which she wasn’t even sure if they would even allow her to live after her perfect escape from there. Using the forest to her advantage she made herself seem to come from a different spot then where she actually was. “Rin thinks the better question is why are you here, alien?” The moment she finished speaking she moved from where she was but sticking to be down wind from the alien, in hopes to stay hidden from him.

That wasn't exactly the reply the short Namekian was hoping for, but at least he got an answer. He looked away from her, once again fixing his gaze on the Earth Below. "I see..." He wasn't sure how much he was allowed to ask. 18 came off as a private person and that privacy wasn't something he was eager to breach, no matter how interested he really was. He told himself he wouldn't force her to explain anything unless she wanted too. Instead he let the topic drop and shifted the conversation else were. "Well, getting into so much trouble must work up an appetite. Would you like something to eat or drink while you're here?"
She was a little shocked to see his form slide into her peripheral vision.Eighteen made no attempt to speak with him,he looked to be contemplating something. Was he was unsure of her being there?Maybe it was a bad idea coming here. The android was moments away from departing despite the yes she received from him-until he spoke up willingly. The android glanced over.”Trouble finds it’s way to me but I do not intend to pester you about my unfortunate dilemma.” Maybe talking about it would help but it was unlike her open up so easily-then again she trusted him enough to make her way up here.

The young God listened with interest and nodded when she mentioned androids. There was no way he would forget what they were, not after Cell. He didn't miss the look that crossed her face. Maybe he shouldn't have asked such a personal question like that. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring up something so personal..." He apologized. God or not, he had no place to ask. Being as Dende has asked her about her background, it was only fair for her to do the same. "I was very small when I took on the role, but it wasn't my first time on Earth. I came here a few years earlier with the rest of my people. It's a long story...but when the Earth needed a new Guardian it was suggested I do it and I did." He shrugged his shoulders. "I wasn't so much scared as I was intimidated. There's a lot I needed to learn and I'm still learning." A smile crossed his face as he thought of Mr. Popo and Piccolo. "I'm lucky enough to have two great teachers though." "As for when exactly I came here, it was shortly before the Cell games. I've been here since."
"…oh hell, what have I got to lose telling you. You’re god for crying out loud, I don’t think I’d get any brownie points for lying to you." Marcia shrugged, smoothing back her hair out of nervous habit. She licked her lips and took a breath. Would he consider her a freak? Probably not, if he was an alien. An alien who became a guardian of earth.
"I was turned into an android. Ever here of those, Dende? They’re made by the Red Ribbon Army, some are fully mechanical, others used to be human, now transformed with scientific enhancement. I’m the latter. Android 3, if you’d like a number…but I prefer if you call me by my name." Marcia recommended, looking a bit crestfallen by her revelation. It was clearly a sore point for her.
But she allowed herself to lighten her expression as she asked Dende about his background, “So you started your guardianship as a child? Was that scary for you? I mean, coming to a new planet, expected to care for it…was it hard? When did you first start? You look like a teenager, so I guess it wasn’t so long ago?”
