Hi everyone, it's been a while, huh? Newsstand Dad Courtney here, just wanted to take some time to apologize for our extended and unexpected closure. We'll be open today til 6 for the first time in a couple weeks! Kiosk Fest was AMAZING but it really did a number on me. My mental health was in a pretty fragile place beforehand and all the !stimulation! and !planning! and !amazingness! was more than I could handle, and I'm prone to hiding-when-overwhelmed. I stopped scheduling people to volunteer and I stopped coming in and stopped responding to emails. But I miss you all and love you all and appreciate the endless support you give this weird little passion project- it makes it less scary to face what feels like a personal failure! Thanks for baring with the vulnerability here folx, we'll be back to our regularly scheduled zines soon. Love you all. 📚💕 (at The Grand Newsstand)
