due to low interest at the moment, i don’t think there’s much of a demand for the zine! that said, i am thinking of rerunning the interest check during september (when the final season will be airing) and thus will keep it up to see if that makes any difference.

this zine concept is very important to me and i do want to see it through sometime, but i don’t want to waste anyone’s time or effort on a zine that will produce at least a decent amount of traction, especially since a majority of you wanted a physical zine. we’ll see how it goes in september. until then, i hope you all have a lovely summer!

Interest Check

Howdy! I’m @nellsie-j, presumable mod for “The Good Zine” a project that I’ve been mulling over for quite a while, and I’d like to present an interest survey for said project. I’d really appreciate if y’all could fill it out!

For a quick rundown, The Good Zine is intended to be a charity zine based on the idea of ship celebration—from basic ships like Chidi/Eleanor and Eleanor/Tahani to the fun side pairs, like Janet/Jason, to outright inane nonsense like, oh, I dunno, Simone/Janet, Gwendolyn/Jason, Chidi/The Judge. Go nuts! It’s a forking circus over here.

I’d really appreciate a reblog from a few zine promotion blogs, and thank you in advance if you do so!

I deliberated on this for a bit—I’m a big romantic and when I was first picturing the ship I mostly thought of romantic ships—but yeah, I’d definitely be open to platonic shipping for the zine, should we go through with it!

a very kind person pointed out to me that there are currently two TGP zines out at the moment, one of which is on twitter with the same tagline url, so i’ve come up with a few solutions that i think i’d want to share with y’all:

ideally, the zine process would take place throughout the summer and the zine would release in september, thus avoiding any significant overlap with the other TGP zines and allowing us to keep relevancy since TGP season 4 is expected to come out that month.

a url change might be in order! just out of courtesy to the lovely folks with the twitter handle “@/thegoodzine” in order to avoid any confusion on the part of consumers. so i may change the url within the next few days, and i’ll be sure to make an announcement if so!
