This is so stupid but last night some friends and I went to go buy alcohol at a gas station (as college students do) and I thought I had grabbed my jacket with my wallet in my pocket because I could feel a solid-ish lump in the jacket pocket and then we got to the gas station and I pulled it out to pay and it was NOT my wallet, it was a mass market paperback copy of Silence of the Lambs that I had crammed in there and forgotten about
#okay so#i have a hole in the inside pocket of my coat#and things fall in there#and i stood in a rather full train#trying to get out what i assumed by the plasticy feel to be the bags of tissues i needed desperately#out of the coat that is#which looked weird because i kind of held it above my head trying to get gravity to help#people watched me#anyway#there i stood#after five minutes of being publicy weird#and with the proud face of a magician who for the first time actually got the rabbit#pulled out a condom#presenting it proudly to to the starring crowd
