One of my favorite things about writing Eldritch and Cosmic horror is the paradox of wanting the include lots of description and detail, but the more you include, the less scary or incomprehensible the horror is. You have to walk the fine line between providing enough detail to give the reader a glimpse into the horror, but not enough to rationalize it or fully understand it. Your audience can peep the horror for just a second. As a treat.
