AN INTRO TO THE CHASE!

I realised I haven’t done an intro post for this account, so I thought it’s high time I do so!

My name is Elijah, I’m the guy behind the Everchase! I’m 18, UK based and extremely and thoroughly addicted to the Magverse! I chose my username because I am a loving and devoted Hunt avatar, and what’s more fitting for a handle than the never-to-be-complete ritual of the Hunt?

My other interests lie in: Severance, The Umbrella Academy, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, My Chemical Romance, Inside Job, Musical Theatre, Writing, Art + more!

I’m using my gap year to nurse my hobbies and talents, and this year I’ll be starting University for Character Design!

You may often see me with Egg (eggball.cos on tt and ig), my best friend on planet earth! I pulled her out of cosplay retirement with the promise of cosplaying Magnus, and now we’re feet first in this together!

I don’t tend to tag my cosplay content with anything specific, but this year I’m going to probably set out a tagging format of “[character] everchase cosplay” as I want to post more on tumblr and create a library for my cosplays here :3

MEGACON 2025 VLOG!

Finally edited and released my first vlog from Megacon London 2025!!! Partook in a Magnus Institute Staff group, attended the Magnus meet and did a lot of skedaddling! Second time round to this con and it was a wonderful ride!!!

Received back the photos I got from what was possibly the GREATEST CON DAY I’ve ever experienced in my life!! Gwen is one of my most beloved cosplays and I’m so so happy about that and about how this set turned out!!

Gwen means a lot to me as a character, I fell in love with her almost instantly and she’s just . She’s just superblasted into the fabric of my brain now I can’t even believe it…I adore her character so much and I can’t wait to see how much worse she gets as the show progresses ❤️ they’re putting my girl in the BLENDER!!!! SHE NEEDS A WARM BED AND SOUP!!!! STAT!!!

I’ve yapped about this many times but here I go again- the Magnus cosplay meet, the Protocol panel and getting to meet Anusia, Billie, Louwri, Shahan and Alex was such a profound moment of my year and man…it’s so beautiful to be a fan of things sometimes…I truly think it is

ugh augh OUGH. GUYS!!!! I truly don’t care that Lila is outside of my audience demographic fandom wise but seriously- I’ve been watching TUA since it started airing and I’ve stuck with it since it’s such a sentimental special interest of mine and I’ve been back in TUA hyperfixation since the summer and and auuug….this was just super special for me to do

Lila was one of the first desi characters I really found myself Seeing on TV as a tween and she’s just part of my soul truly…..so . Enjoy!!!! I really really did!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🥳💐

I’ve had a crazy year this year cosplay wise, but I seriously only have the Magpod fandom for embracing me with such open arms in the latter half of 2024! Genuinely I’ve never seen such a great outpouring of love and support for the art and content I like to make- so thank you for a great year!

I decided to compile all the characters I managed to cosplay within six busy months (some on repeat!) and I’d say I amassed a solid number!

(I had to leave some out, like 2015 Gertrude and Michael Shelley, but I included most here!)

Thank you for all your support this year!

Happy Holidays in advance! My gift to you is that I rounded up all of my TMA cosplays for the purpose of this post, and it turns out I've done 12 different characters from this podcast in 2024, one for very month it seems lmao I hope you enjoy them all as much as I enjoyed bringing them all to life. being Pakistani and a cosplayer has become something so important to me! I’ve struggled to truly express what my brownness and pakistaniness means to me having grown up in primarily a non diverse white community so to finally be reaching a point in my semi-professional (?) career (?) where people specifically make a point to identify with me as Pakistani people and reach out to me to express that truly make what I do as an artist worth doing

truly I exist and keep making content for all the non conventional standard brown kids out there who feel weird about getting their foot in the door because trust me I still feel weird but knowing I’m doing it is fulfilling in a way you won’t believe

anyway sorry for that I needed to get that out of my system

THE FINAL, GLORIOUS EVOLUTION…

I haven’t posted this on the gram due to mainly post scheduling backlog but I thought tumblr might like this in advance!

I threw together a Viktor cosplay during the wait between S2 ACT II and III because I had a huge bolt of blue fabric lying around and some blonde extensions I could shove into a brown wig….

The edit I’m super proud of! I had to mesh together the texture of his hand to build a wrist and several fingers not on display in the poster (real one below for comparison!)

😛 so ya….

I did get extremely exhausted after filming because my back and legs gave in on me and I do not have physical aids for standing long periods (ironic) so here’s an image of me giving up too 🫡

Hello everyone attending MCM and/or the Protocol s2 Premiere!

My friends and family have bullied me into having a creative hobby, so I’m making some tma/tmagp/general RQ themed friendship bracelets that I’ll swap (or just give out) next weekend

Does anyone have any ideas of what I should put on the bracelets?

Obviously this is all dependent on what beads I actually have, so I can’t promise I can make everything, but let me know your suggestions!
