OKAY serious question time, do you think euron is going to make it to the end of the series? he's a force to reckon with so i truly think grrm will have to kill him off and there's absolutely no way his arc is going to end with him with sunshines and rainbows....

while i guess it would be what people think is kind of “on brand” for grrm’s writing to make euron’s “win” in some way, i’m a strong believer of grrm being a big optimist and romantic at heart.

i say that in the sense that, considering what characters we have, and which are truly important for the magical storyline, evil isn’t making it out alive. what euron represents as a whole just isn’t welcome in the world i personally think will exist after the fight against the Great Other, so he’s gotta die. iirc, euron is trying to fuck around with oldtown, and i’m pretty sure that’ll be his death. he’s dying there, and i don’t even think he’ll get to even put his eyes on dany in any way, shape, or form.

he’s either being eaten by some monster he tries to summon (bc that’s the type of guy he strikes me as). would love if my boy sam the slayer became the greatest sniper westeros has ever seen and pulled one of the craziest trickshot on euron while the citadel goes absolutely insane seeing such display of uniqueness nerve and talent—tho it’s like a personal wish. i also really like if a eldritch sea beast swallowed the silence (kind of like in dredge’s good ending)

he’s one of the weirds characters that you don’t really know how they think so it’s hard to predict anything : we don’t have his pov, and even the characters that know him are only sure that he’s 100% evil and will be doing evil things. what evil things you ask ? don’t know, let’s just try to stop him before he gets to doing said things okay 😊

final note, it all depends on the pacing, of course, but i bet in the most likely twow. it seems like impossible for him to survive until ados, even in the beginning or whatnot
