Moving Forward
I am making a lot of changes. My Jon has grown and changed over the years from my interactions with my partners. He has been shaped for the last seven years on this blog so it’s impossible for me to fully start fresh and say goodbye to this Jon.
He will remain here for the relationships I formed with my current partners, but I will be adding a blank slate version of him to my multi. This version of Jon will remain on hiatus for now. This Jon will be limit the number of new partners that I take and will be where I interact more with people who are more show based or of mixed canon. The Jon on my multi is going to be purely book based.

Royal Sister:
She’s not sure whether she wants to cry or scream, at the idea that her little brother, who has always defended her, even when she wasn’t the kindest, would speak about her to his friends like that- her chest hurts momentarily before she sees Aemon swing, his fist connecting, blood staining tunics. Rhaenys let out a gasp, shifting herself, turning her eyes from the sight. There were things she could handle seeing, Aemon with his strength beating a man were not one of them.
“Y-yes,” She hears the knight say, but Rhaenys does not care any longer.
“Aemon. You can do what you want to him later, come here.” She calls again, before turning on her heel to leave the training yard.
Aemon bared his teeth at the knight, glaring at him as he stood up from where he had pinned him. The bastard had never been able to deny his sister anything, able to pull himself away from whatever held his rage only when she asked it of him. Not even his mother held such control over him at times, much to her chagrin. The Lady Lyanna oft wondered if it was because her son had wolfsblood such as herself or if he was too much a dragon to head a wolf's orders.
He gave a swift kick in the man's side as he passed him. "We will continue this lesson later," he growled before following after Rhaenys.

@flayersdaughter liked for a starter from vanilla bean jon
Jon stood quietly as the man who fostering him now looked him over, circling around him. He felt uneasy, feeling the pale eyes of Lord Bolton glance over him like he was livestock. That thought made his stomach turn over, what if that was all the lord saw him as? Why else would a high lord choose to take in a bastard that was certainly no longer needed?
Lord Stark was going to host the king, and as soon as the news came he had started to look at sending Jon away. He knew that it was not because his father did not want him, Lord Eddard had said as much even if Jon had his doubts. No, he heard the way that Father had whispered, he didn't want the king to see him. Jon Snow could only think that there was a certain shame at his existence, and Lady Stark had made a mention once before that bastards are best not seen...
Jon's violet eyes wandered around the room as he was examined, landing on Lord Bolton's daughter and heir. She was beautiful, and very certainly Northern, unlike Jon himself. No, Jon with his violet eyes and silver hair looked even more out of place in the North as the direwolf at his side would look in the South.

@ladybastardofcasterlyrock liked for a starter and gets two part one
Jon looked up at the sound of his chambers opening and could not stop the small smile that came yo his lips at the sight of Joy. His lady wife. It was still hard to grasp their situations, legitimized and married, used as political pawns to attempt to take the North from Jon's trueborn siblings. He was not unhappy, thought, he was actually finding himself glad that they were married.
"My lady, might I ask what kept you up so late? If you don't want to tell me that's fine, though." He felt his face flush as he added that last part. He didn't want his wife to think he was ordering or demanding to know what he was simply curious about.

Sansa:
Sansa notices he does not release her hand, but in truth she doesn’t mind. Instead she keeps her hand where it is, returns the gentle squeeze as they make their way to their father’s solar. Once they are inside, she closes the large door behind them and turns to face him once again, a gentle smile pulling at her lips. “You do not need to thank me. We’re family.” she reminds him finally releasing his hand and stepping around him making her way over to the small jug of wine. “Here, have a drink - it will help calm you.” At least that was what Cersei always taught her. Then again that woman drank for any reason.
Jon felt a weight lift off his shoulders when the door was closed, and closed the rest of the North away from them. Kept them from the eyes of the people that were just waiting and watching to see if he once again messed up. He would not be messing up, however, not with Sansa at his back. She had watched as a kingdom was run, even if she had been a hostage, she had seen it. His eyes follow her as she makes her way towards the wine and takes it when she offers it without protest. He cannot remember the last time he had wine instead of mead or ale. "I could certainly do with a little help calming down, I think... I am sorry you had to see me like that..."

Sweet Sister:
“Vis-” She’s cut off by her crying younger sister wrapping her arms around her, and despite her frown, Rhaenys is quick to shoo her companions off, petting at Visenya’s hair. “Sweetling, what’s wrong?” She asks, returning Visenya’s hug. Wrath would be met to whomever had upset her.
Visenya held tightly to her sister, seeking the comfort that she brought as her entire body trembled. "Tell me it's not true. Please tell me that Father hasn't promised my hand." The sound of the growled out hiss still echoes in her ears. You are mine.

Jon held Arya close to him as he tried to steel his heart in his decision once more. Her words stung as deeply as the daggers that had killed him once before. "I have to do this... He won't let anyone else near."

" I'd ask you to marry me, if I could. Not like I meant when we were children."
It felt as if a lump was caught in his throat at her words. Would you bed your sister Ygritte had once asked him. It felt like a lifetime ago, now. "And if I were to tell you that my answer would likely not be a no..."

Arya:
They were both scarred from their adventures, and she supposed that was another way in which they would never differ too much. She was home, her home was home. All was right with the world, as Arya found herself reluctantly letting go of Jon. “Right, your study.” She glanced to Sansa in the courtyard, who nodded to her with a soft smile, before turning towards the godswood, where Bran had taken to spending days, feeling less useless there, connected. She remembered late nights in father’s study, as he let her stay late from bed when she reminded him to eat something. Now Jon’s. “Come, if you’re not busy?”
Jon could not help but smile at Arya's last sentence. "I will never, ever, be too busy to spend time with you, Arya." He would leave the settling in of their guests to Sansa, she was far better with courtesy than he was and he trusted her to know what best to do. He took Arya's hand and felt emotion wave over him, so much had changed these last years and yet so little. He had to start moving his feet towards the Lord's study, else he felt they would never get there and all of the North would witness their King crying. "I am sure you have some interesting stories to tell me."

Arya:
She grunted in acknowledgement of his words, having shut the door all too quickly, and all too loudly, as she huffed and puffed, face red in her rage… rage that had had her stomping all the way to Jon’s room, where Bran had said he was… and now she was here, she flew into tears as Arya threw herself at her big brother.
“No! It’s not fair!”
Concern filled Jon as he saw the emotion that was so plain to see on Arya's face. He hated seeing her upset, not when she deserved all the happiness in the world. He held her close to him when she practically launched herself into him. The Bastard of Winterfell wanted nothing more than to make the one who was the cause for his sister's tears pay.

"You going to marry her?" She stares out Jaehaerys' bedroom window, down to the courtyard where Margaery Tyrell entertains other ladies of the court, Sansa notably among them. Whether she means Margaery or Sansa, she does not elaborate. "She's a good match, if you ask me." No, there is no tone in her voice as she says it.
Jaehaerys found himself stopping, feeling confusion at Arya's question. He could not fathom who she could be thinking of when she asked if he was going to marry. The way she asked it, it was like that she was not talking of herself. A good match? He walked over to where she sat, looking down and his confusion only grew worse. The only Tyrell that he particularly cared for was Loras, as the young knight had squired under Ser Jonothor. Willas was easy to talk to as well, but Loras was the one who he could call his friend. And he had learned that other than friends it is best to be wary of the Tyrells.
With Lady Margaery was Sansa, Arya's sister that Jaehaerys was not particularly fond of. She was far too much a dreamer, not that there was anything wrong with dreamers. No, his issue lay with the fact he saw her naive to the point of stupidity. For all of her talk of how all knights are noble and kind she seemed to forget just how his brother and sister had been killed by knights. "Hmm, she may be a good match for another, but I will not wed Margaery."

"Your queen is beautiful," She smiles then, pulling back from the hug. "We're happy to have you back, Sansa is just... adjusting."
Your queen... the phrase had Jon still as Arya pulls back in his arms. His brow furrowed as he frowned. "My Queen... Queen Daenerys is not my queen..." Is that what everyone was thinking? Did they think he bent the knee? If the Northern lords thought he had given the North to another, given it to a TARGARYEN, by the old gods there would be no place that would be safe above the Neck for him. He would have to do damage control, and quickly.

@dornishzaldrizes that fostered at winterfell au i mentioned
Jon looked down at the ground as he kicked at the dirt. He knew that it was pointless, feeling upset like this about words. The whole castle was distracted by the upcoming arrival of the king, an arrival that he was just told it would be best he not be seen during. He knows that he should not be upset, he was a bastard and sitting a bastard among royalty could be taken as an insult.
The sound of someone else walking hear him caused Jon to look up and upon seeing her, all of his feelings on this matter seemed suddenly trivial. Rhaenys was about to be forced to play polite hostage in front of the men who had killed her father and grandfather. What were his feelings in comparison to that? To have to smile and laugh with the men who took everything from you? Ghost leaned against his leg and Jon could practically feel his silent whine.
His direwolf pup liked Rhaenys, if ever Jon could not find him all he would need to do is ask someone where the Targaryen girl was. Ghost watched the young woman cross the yard and he let out a soft sigh. "Come, Ghost, let's go see that our princess is going to be okay."

@dornishzaldrizes the alliance au we discussed
Jon glances once more at the two who had arrived earlier that day. Rhaenys and Aegon Targaryen, not dead as so many had once believed but hidden away in Dorne until the time was right. He had to say, the offer of Dornish spears for the battle against the others was a very tempting offer. He had to think of the best way to appease both the North and the Targaryen royals.
"I would love to talk an alliance, but I must forewarn you that the North has been through a lot. My men do not intend to rejoin the seven kingdoms. Targaryen, Lannister or Baratheon on the Iron Throne, the North will not bend the knee. I am willing to negotiate in order to help you retake your birthright, but only as an ally and not a subject."
Jon practically held his breath as he awaited the answer from the dragons that stood before him.
