Injured!Dabi

The thing is, Dabi would get injured doing something incredibly stupid

Like trying to prove to Shigaraki that he can jump from one roof to the next

Or that Toga isn’t the only one who can juggle knives while drunk

Or that doing a handstand on a wheeled office chair is perfectly feasible

And then he falls or misses the landing or something and his s/o just…sighs eternally

Because this is just their life now, ya know?

So they drag him into the bar and fish the (well stocked) first aid kit out from under the counter

And it’s not like they have any formal training, but I imagine they maybe grew up in an orphanage or had a lot of siblings

And kids are always getting hurt, so they’ve learned a few things over the years

If it’s just a few scrapes or small cuts then they’ll clean it up and tape some gauze over the wound(s) and warn Dabi not to go doing more stupid shit

Even though they know he’s going to pretty much ignore that last bit entirely

If it’s something more severe like a large laceration then they’ll break out the betadine and a needle and thread and stitch it up

Dabi is going to complain the entire time, because half his skin might be covered in burn scars but he has an aesthetic to maintain, okay?

His s/o is going to smack him upside the head because he’s an idiot

But their hands are steady as they work, their stitches small and precise

By the time the threads come out there won’t be any significant scarring (if Dabi hasn’t gotten into any more trouble since then)

To be honest, Dabi’s s/o works on a lot of the League members, but they somehow find themselves working on Dabi the most

Maybe he deliberately gets into shit so his s/o has to take care of him?

Though I don’t really see that happening unless there’s a new member of the League who is doing the same thing and using the opportunity to hit on Dabi’s s/o

It’s more likely that Dabi will pull this new person aside and tell them, quite frankly, that if they keep going to his s/o for such frivolous injuries, then he’s going to give them something worth being hospitalized over

Stitches (Hawks)

Injured!Hawks

Hawks would get hurt one of two ways

He would either get injured on the job, fighting villains and rescuing civilians

Or he would be a dumb-ass and cut himself with his own feathers

There is no in between, it’s either selfless sacrifice or incorrigible stupidity with this man

Sometimes both at once!

I imagine in this scenario that his s/o is a registered nurse

And while they have to deal with weird injuries on a daily basis because of work, no one can top Hawks

They’ll come home and find him trying to bandage his own wounds

But the thing about Hawks is that he’s all thumbs when it comes to stuff like this

So he’s more likely to somehow manage to tie his own hands behind his back with the bandages or something

His s/o doesn’t take a lot of shit, but they have an understandable soft spot for the bird man

Smaller injuries get disinfected and gauze is applied, then covered with elastic, waterproof wrappings to keep them clean and protected from the wind or elements when he flies

Larger injuries (that don’t require a hospital visit, because his s/o will absolutely put their foot down if it’s bad enough) get cleaned and stitched or stapled closed, then an antiseptic ointment is applied before they get bandaged over

Oftentimes, if the injury was his fault, Hawks will visit his s/o’s workplace the next day with food as an apology

On off days when Hawks is hurt his s/o makes him stay inside to cuddle, only partly because if he’s inside then he won’t be outside messing up his bandages
