People on both Discord and Twitter have banded together to harass her, and even doxxed her, giving out her full name, date of birth, address, and workplace.

as of 22nd April 2021 we have about 16.3M new cases and a death toll of 187K . Only about 1.4% of the population has been fully vaccinated yet.

on top of that, we've been facing a major shortage in oxygen supply (to the point where the govt has decided to airlift oxygen from other nations), a shortage in hospital beds and services. The numbers keep rising and with the spread of the new strain, the scenario has transformed into something deadlier than ever.

What is going on with the world??

ok, just a question. Why are so many people salty when people say the sculpting of the dolls, or heads, cost money? Are dolls overpriced? In some cases, yeah, some are overpriced. But you’re also paying for the brand name too, which still helps feed the people who create these dolls still. But in a lot of cases, people just talk badly about the artist making the sculpt. Or dismiss them entirely, as one of those getting paid. Why? Plenty of artists seem to be directly employed by a company, or have long term contracts, or something of the sort. Considering how some companies often sell heads/sculpts clearly from the same artist, for many years. Hell, didn’t Loongsoul discontinue a bunch of sculpts, one day to the next, because their old artist left? (Aren’t all their current heads also from the same artist? They all look like it. They come out with dolls almost every two months, that should be a steady employment.) And, some companies do seem to have their sculptors as either founders, or long-term employed for other parts of the process. It’s not like artist are one-trick ponies, they could just as well do other things in the company. Plus, it’s not like it’s just sculpting that costs time and money. You do realise that the artist, or maybe even artists, maybe there are two, or even three! work through several steps to create a sculpt, especially when it’s a fullset. 1) Concept designs. How many designs do you think have to be made? Not just head designs, but also might be fullset designs, and showing how the face could look painted. This is often literally just a bunch of 2D drawings. 2) Final designs. They gotta choose one of the concept designs, and then improve on it, until it meets the expectations of everyone involved. Probably still only 2D. 3) Translating it to 3D. There’s a huge leap between 2D to 3D. I’ve seen artist try and make 3D versions of 2D art, it’s not like it’s a single button click, and it’s done. Honestly, from what I’ve seen, it’s often pretty difficult to get the facial proportions right. 4) Sculpting/ Refining of 3D sculpting. I guess this depends on the company working in traditional media, or with 3D printing for their first version of the doll. But they obviously need the first doll, to make a cast. So one way or the other, that head, or body, has to be made, and in 3D printing, I think most people know you still need a lot of work to finish it. 5) Fullsets: drafting of patterns for clothes, jewellery, and other things you can’t just reuse from old sets. Also finding fabrics. Some companies seem to print fabric/have it specially made, for their dolls, for that specific set. Also, just because bodies don’t get remade that often. I’m pretty sure having an employed artist make, or commissioning one to make a new one, costs a lot of money, because they’d have to figure out parts of the jointing, and new details again, and they obviously want the body to last. I bet I forgot some points, but Idk. So yeah… why do people every few weeks ask why artists are so expensive? Or talking about how artists aren’t treated well anyway, or some variation of that? Because you sound like business owners, who can’t understand that someone working in art, actually is allowed to demand a living wage, or IS being paid enough to stay with their contractor.

So remember a while back when people were expressing their concerns that recasters were growing at an exponential rate to a point where their “dolls” were looking more legitimate and caused speculation of them being factories, especially Luo, and the pro theft gang was like “you’re exaggerating” and dismissed it because of their assumption it was just a small group of people?

Yea no, that was a fucking lie

ChinaBJD has literally grown to the point where they have a whole staff of people that work different departments of their company, created multiple fake recast hybrids to slide past copyright violations, offering full sets for their counterfeits, selling their counterfeits to other sellers like a wholesale item, offering their own casting service that we’ve learned as of recent, and are now selling other doll products to increase their revenue. This is honestly so appalling how far they’ve come when the majority of the artists they’ve stole from are still small businesses with not even close to 10 employees, some still are SINGLE artists in the same amount of time they’ve grown to a literal goddamn factory.

They would have NEVER gotten this far if they didn’t have a dedicated fan base of supporters, aka the pro theft/pro recast/anti artist gang consistently buying their shitty counterfeits. And I’m not talking about the people who got their counterfeit by accidental purchase or as a gift, I’m talking about those who buy purposely seek out Luo and buy their fakes at a disgusting rate and the scum who purposely send dolls to be recast.

So to those pro theft people who brushed off how Luo wasn’t going to grow past a small operation and those who purposely keep putting money in their pocket, if you ever wonder why no one in the community wants to deal with your people or even humor you all? This is why. You all have given so much money and motivation to for a counterfeiter become a LITERAL GODDAMN FACTORY that has become direct competition to the artists who make the dolls you love so much and act like it’s not a big deal when it is. And if you think I’m “exaggerating” go to the link below for their Alibaba where they have listings set up to sell their counterfeits as wholesale or search “Taihe Zhongshe Toy Co., Ltd.” on google and look at their Company profile. This is no longer a “small operation, it’s a full blown counterfeiting business.

This is a long post but this is important especially if you live somewhere where fireworks have been going off every night all of a sudden for weeks now.

if you been following this blog of mine for a while you know i’m NOT into conspiracy theories BUT this shit is fucking fishy as hell. this is NOT fucking normal and i truly believe this is a part of how police fight back against calls to defund and/or disband them. i’ve said for a while now (mostly on twitter) that ppl who want to abolish the police (i am one of them) need to get ready for war cause cops will fight us to the point of killing us to maintain their power. i absolutely believe they are believe this sudden and constant stream of fireworks happening across the country targeted in areas where there were massive marches calling to defund the police. this would be very easy to coordinate given all the communication tools we have today (whatapp, fb messenger, ig direct message, skype and etc) and like the last tweeter stated, given all the crap we know the police be involved in, giving away fireworks ain’t shit BUT if raises the number of complaints they don’t respond to, they can use that to make themselves look good. i mean check it…

that’s a hell of a fucking jump (for all the ppl who want to claim this is normal (stfu)) and they are not responding to those calls. why? they are behind it and then they can use this to say “see, y’all need us. don’t defund us.” 

i won’t repeat what’s already in the tweets but yea, i am 100% this is warfare by the police against calls to hold them accountable and to defund them BUT we can’t back down. the mere fact they are doing this proves they are scared and we are right.

Oh shit these are beautiful

After two years of waiting (three if you count the announcement), 2B and 9S are finally here! 

These dolls were like a dream come true - I’ve been a huge Nier fan since I played gestalt in 2010, then when Automata came out and picked up popularity I was so happy the series finally got the attention it deserved. For it to cross into my other major hobby of bjd was unimaginable, and I’m so glad to finally own these. It’s surreal and wonderful. I can’t wait to put them in street clothes and let them have a happy ever after

Miles's Old Life

Miles sat in the window seat, knees hugged to his chest, looking out across the bustling streets of Paris. He'd been living here with Ginger for a year, yet sometimes he still felt an ache in his heart when he thought about the life he'd left behind in England-his friends, the memories, the parties. And he also thought about the whole reason he'd come to France. Not to vacation, but to flee the police because of the warrant on his head.

Miles sighed shakily, tears forming in his eyes, threatening to smear his make-up. He loved Paris, and he loved Ginger, but the life he'd left behind haunted his thoughts like a ghost. Miles sobbed and pressed his face into his knees, feeling as if his heart were being squeezed. Why did this happen to him? Why was it a crime to be who he was and always had been?

"Miles?"

A hand appeared on his shoulder, gentle but strong. Miles looked up, and found Ginger staring down at him, concern knitting his brows.

"Oh, hello, darling," Miles said, turning his head away and subtly trying to wipe his tears away. "When did you get home?"

"Just now," Ginger said, sitting down with him. "I didn't think you were home until I heard you crying."

"Oh." Miles blushed.

"What's wrong, love?" Ginger asked, taking one of Miles's hands in his.

"It's nothing, dear," Miles said. "It's just that....I still miss life in England sometimes."

Ginger stroked Miles's knuckles gently. "I know you do. I miss it sometimes too."

Miles intertwined their fingers. "What do you miss most?"

Ginger smiled. "I can't tell you that."

"Why not?" Miles asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Because the thing I'd miss the most is sitting right here with me," Ginger answered.

Miles felt his heart lighten as Ginger delicately wiped away a few lingering tears.

"I'd miss you, too, darling," Miles said. "More than anything."

"I'd hope you'd miss me," Ginger said.

He reached into his pocket, and removed a small box of red velvet. Miles gasped, bringing his hands to his mouth as Ginger opened the box, revealing two shimmering rings, one a silver band studded with rubies, the other a gold band studded with sapphires.

"But with these rings, even if we were miles apart, we'd still have each other," Ginger continued. "Will you marry me, Miles?"

"Oh, Ginger, darling, of course I'll marry you," Miles exclaimed, new, happier tears streaming down his face as Ginger slipped the gold band on to the ring finger of his right hand.

"Here." Ginger handed Miles the silver ring. "Put this on me."

Miles took the ring and slid it on to the fourth finger of Ginger's left hand.

"I love you, Miles," Ginger said, pulling him into a kissing and brushing his tears away.

"I love you, Ginger," Miles said. "More than anything I left back in England."

They kisses again, and when they pulled away Ginger brought Miles's hand to his lips and kissed the gold ring. "We can make a new life right here in Paris, my love. Together."

"As husbands," Miles added, kissing the birthmark on Ginger's lip.

Ginger grinned. "As husbands."
