71 - Hunting

Had to duck out of the dealings with the Jewish private landlord who just wanted me for my name. He kept adding tenners to the original asking price and apart from giving me the feeling he would be hustling things forever, that place was too filthy to be worth it. After the last week (deposit limbo, cockroaches in the airbnb place, stolen bag) I didn't feel like getting down on my knees for a week—scrubbing jizt and ashes out of second hand bed and working skin sheds and burnt tomato sauce out of creaking floor boards—just to get screwed later on (you know it would have been all good moving in, but when it's time to move out I wouldn't get a penny back on my deposit since my imaginary parrot would have ruined the wallpapers or something).

Looks like things are working out anyway. Everything about it is impossible, but never underestimate the power of a big company name and the 101 in how to impress a motorcycle loving essex boy (class of every-vacation-is-spent-on-ibiza-downing-jelly-shots-wootwoot) of an estate agent. Put yer church shoes on, click your heels three times and whoaa, you're off to Ca...mberwelll. I got an apartment (no wait, I take that back, lease is not signed yet, don't wanna jinx it, but you know I can't heeelp it)

70 - Suicide

I wish I had been even more of a thorn in your side, crashing parties dressed in an elephant suit and a fistful of awkward silence.

69 - terrorism

- They won't let me bring my law book on the plane. Apparently it's too heavy.  - Yeah I can see how that might be a threat.  - What if I was really fat?  - Big threat!  - I could body slam my way into the cockpit and take over the plane.  - They need to make rules against potential body slamming.  - If you're fat you can only go on the plane if you cut yourself up into 3 ounce pieces and pack yourself into a ziplock bag.  - So that we can all be safe

66 - Hjortronpolitiken

Jag pratar gärna om det som pågår i tunnelbanan just nu, men jag pratar ännu hellre om de som de jagar. Det är ju inte bara metoden som är fel här utan även argumentet för hela aktionen i sig.  Det finns uppskattningsvis några tusen papperslösa i Sverige. Av dem som gömmer sig är det enligt statistiken ungefär hälften som nekas asyl trots att utlänningslagen erkänner deras skyddsbehov.  Det sägs att den främlingsfientliga opinion som de senaste åren har tagit allt större plats i debatten är en tilfällig företeelse, men etablerade partier har låtit samma företeelse definiera invandringspolitiken sedan 1907. Det har polerats till en neutral reglering av invandring i den svenska välfärdens namn.  Sverige har fört den här politiken i 100 år. Här står etnicitet i vägen för saklig bedömning av individers skyddsbehov, vissa minoritetsgrupper har högre status än andra och kön kan bestämma att en individ har sig själv att skylla i fara för sitt liv. Utlänningar av fel sort är livsfara och en kategoriskt belastning och de av rätt sort är en postkolonial rättighet och handelsvara. Vissa kan driva masugnen, andra blir papperslösa. Jag ser inte polisen stå och legga illegalt invandrade bärplockare på Luleå busstation. De rycker inte ens i morrhåren när bärplockarna blir inhysta som djur, jobbade som slavar och sen lurade på sin utlovade belöning, men det är klart, vi måste ju ha hjortronsylt, här i välfärdens Sverige. I välfärdens Sverige är allt rätt när det behöver var det, för oss. Dessutom, är ju många andra mycket värre.

Brukar inte jättehårt förespråka tvåsamhetsnormen, men ibland när jag ser dina cykelbilder tänker jag att jag nog måste gifta mig med dig så att du lugnar dig i det här polyamorösa lättviktsslamperiet. De kommer aldrig ge dig den kärlek du förtjänar!

-Really? We have been doing a lot of really cool underground things. It's blowing up right now. So excited! And we're getting a lot of requests from people who want to exhibit with us, but you know I think a lot of people have no clue about what works and feels fresh. We want that Berlin vibe you know?!

-Mmm Berlin yes, my mom used to go party there when I was a kid. What do you want to meet about?

-Not really.

-Great! I've been talking to some other people, but I would love it if you did one. Your stuff is really inspiring!

-You know i did Fashion PR for a long time. I got fired because my ex boss is psycho, but really I was going to quit anyway. I just had to start doing something with more integrity.
