Gemma could handle if it was awkward cause she would do this for Chloe. The last thing her girlfriend needed was more stress or something. There was a small smile that appeared on her lips when she felt Chloe kiss her cheek. “I’m all in. You know this right?” And she really was. Even if that meant that she had to deal with Austin Ramsey for the rest of her life. She would do that for Chloe. When Austin came in, she looked over at him. “Austin.” She forced a smile. “Yeah, any minute now.” // @austin-ramsey
Austin moved over to them, smiling at Chloe for a moment. “I’ll get it fixed. I promise.” He told her. Which was true. He would. Honestly he had to look into getting a better job or something. Of course he noticed the force smile from Gemma but he didn’t comment on that. He sat down on the opposite side of Chloe. This was awkward a little bit and honestly he was excited. “I’m excited and nervous.” He stated as he looked over at Chloe. // @thechloepierce
Chloe hoped this wasn’t all going to be too horribly awkward. The situation was a bit more than she’d ever expected but she would get through it. She wished Annie were here... but then she’d probably try and strangle her to death in her sleep so she should forget it. Chloe hated being the twin without a twin, it was like her arm had been cut off... but she hated that her twin had clearly not been the sister she needed. “Me too.” She said, glancing at Austin and giving him a slight smile. “What did your mum say?” Chloe wondered, figuring she should go see Anna Ramsey soon or something. She looked up as a doctor finally came out and called her name and she stood.

Harry didn’t know what he’d been expecting but it wasn’t that. Maybe he’d jumped to her being sick or something because that seemed like their stupid dumb luck. He blinked at her and then broke into a smile. “What? Seriously? Darling, that’s amazing!” @isabel-pierce
Isabel reached out and placed a hand onto Chloe’s back just to give her some reassurance or something cause clearly this was hard to talk about or something. Whatever it was, Isabel would be there. Even if she needed to cover up something. The next words that fell from her daughter’s lips she hadn’t been expecting at all. “You are? That is amazing sweetheart!” She moved her hand from her back to hug her close. Kissing the top of her head before pulling away. “I had no idea you were seeing anyone. Who is the father?” // @thechloepierce
She smiled, glad that their reactions had been positive, not that she’d expected different but she glanced down at her mother’s question. “Oh.. no. Uh. I mean, I am seeing someone but they’re not...” She looked up, glancing almost apologetically towards her father. “Austin’s... the dad.”

“I’m sure it’ll be lovely.” He said as he sat down, looking back up at Isabel with a nod when she mentioned wine. “Yeah, let’s go for it.” He said, though then glanced at Chloe who seemed hesitant. “What is it - is something wrong?” Obviously his mind would jump to conclusions. @isabel-pierce
Isabel raised a brow slightly when Chloe declined the offer. She started towards the kitchen but stopped when Chloe said she needed to talk to them about something. “What is it? What’s wrong?” She asked, moving back over to them, this way she could take a seat next to Chloe. Granted she wasn’t mother of the year when it came to Chloe but she liked to think that maybe they were working towards getting better. // @thechloepierce
She smiled lightly, shaking her head as she realised her parents must have thought she had some kind of horrible news to share. Which she couldn’t blame them for after all. “Nothing, it’s...” She chuckled. Chloe really hadn’t thought this day would ever come, she hadn’t thought she’d ever have children herself. “I’m actually.. I’m pregnant..”

Packing up a few more boxes was easy enough. It was sad but Harry figured that it was for the best because this house was just full of ghosts and they’d all probably kept it too long anyway. He started thinking about work, wondering when they’d call him in for his next flight, when Chloe shouted him through and he chuckled, leaving the boxes and heading back through. “Smells awesome in here, ladies.” @isabel-pierce
It honestly felt like it had been forever ago since they did this. Isabel honestly enjoyed showing Chloe everything around the kitchen. Once everything was finished, she brought it over to the table. Smiling when Harry came in. “I think we did very well and hopefully you enjoy it.” She glanced between her husband and her daughter for a moment. “I’ll grab the drinks. Should we do some wine?” // @thechloepierce
She sat down, looking up with a smile when her dad came in. She and her dad had always had a special bond and she loved when he wasn’t at work. “Oh...” She paused a little when her mother mentioned wine, looking up at her. “I, uh... no, just juice for me, actually.” She said, though she caught her dad giving her a weird look. Not that she was some wino or something but she liked a nice glass and he’d know that. “I... actually, guys, I had something I was gonna talk to you about.”

Harry smiled, sitting down and shaking his head. “No, no, don’t go to any extra trouble. It’s all good.” He stood up again and turned for the other room. “I’m going to pack up a few more bits while you two get busy in here.”
@isabel-pierce
Isabel was happy and glad that Harry and herself seemed to be getting along. She had been seriously thinking about his request and what he wanted. It seemed like that was something that he wanted. The divorce. Even though she wanted to try and make it work, but she had a feeling that it wouldn’t. So maybe she was making the decision to give Harry finally what he wanted. She wanted him to be happy and clearly she hadn’t been doing that. “Yes, please dear. I could always use your help.” She glanced back towards Harry. “Thank you.” Her attention went back to Chloe. “Let’s get started.” // @thechloepierce
“Okay.” Chloe smiled a little and moved over to her mother so that she could help her with the dinner. It was quite nice and she was glad to be able to just feel regular and normal with her parents. It felt like it had been a while. Too long maybe. She moved to set the table once they were finished cooking. “Dad!”

Harry was pleased when she agreed. It was a nice idea and honestly… this home had a lot of good memories along with the bad ones. There was a time when nothing had mattered more than their family and even though everything had been broken, smashed into pieces, they’d always be family and this would always be home. “Good.” He kissed the top of her head on the way past and then sat down at the table. “Though it’s a bit rude you’re getting your favourite and I don’t even get a look in.” He joked, giving Isabel a look that made sure she’d know he was just teasing. He looked at Isabel. “You should probably take a break.”
@isabel-pierce
This home, had a lot of memories good, bad and in between. The girls grew up in this house and she never pictured selling it. But after Annie, the house became haunted. Everything had broken once they found out and nothing was ever the same again. “Okay, good. I’m glad to hear that.” When Harry made that comment, Isabel noticed the look and couldn’t help but smile. She missed that version of him but she also understood that they drifted apart and she didn’t blame him especially now that her own affair was out there in the public. “Well I could make both of your favorites.” She offered. “Maybe but I do have to get dinner started.” // @thechloepierce
Chloe smiled lightly, kind of enjoying her parents getting on more than she’d thought she would the last few years. Everything had gotten so messy and she’d been so angry with her mum and everything and Austin... now it all sort of felt far away. She almost wished Annie could be here... but not quite as psycho. She was glad her dad had seen that and hadn’t been blind. “Do you want some help?” Chloe found herself asking, figuring keeping busy would stop her nerves from building up so much. She’d tell them over dinner.

“I’ll k-keep my fingers c-c-crossed for you then.” Noah smiled softly. He nodded when she asked if okay was good. He knew the whole thing with Sunshine was bringing up some unpleasant memories from his past and the whole concerning bit about his memory but he didn’t want to unload that on her, especially when she said she wasn’t one hundred percent. “Mostly just w-work. Everyone needs c-caffeine for their hol-holiday shopping.”
Chloe smiled lightly at him, nodding. “Yeah.. .thanks.” She supposed whatever gossip came out of all this was better than the gossip that came from her sister. God, she kind of... missed her today too. Fuck. “Yeah, uh... I know last year at Spice it was hectic as hell during the holiday rush. Hopefully it goes quickly for ya.”

Harry chuckled to himself softly, moving to put a few more things into a box and then heading over to set the kettle up, exchanging a look with Isabel before he grabbed them two mugs, deciding a coffee break was in order. He figured he’d let Isabel continue and ask Chloe herself.
@isabel-pierce
“Would you like to have one last family dinner in this home?” It was hard for her to get out of those words. Especially the last part because no matter what they would always be family. “I know it might be a lot to ask. But I figured it could be good for us before we say goodbye to this place.” Although she knew that she could never actually say goodbye. “What do you say? I can cook your favorite?” // @thechloepierce
Chloe had to admit she’d miss this place, there were so many memories from her childhood here, and when she wanted to feel her sister again she would sneak in here and sit in her bedroom. As much as she’d wanted this place gone in her anger, suddenly she hated the idea. She was a bit surprised, but it seemed like they were both in a good enough mood so maybe it would be alright. So she nodded, shrugging a little. “Yeah, sure... okay. Sounds..” Good? Nice? “Sounds fine.” She let a long pause draw out, almost about to say it but then she decided that she would tell them at dinner. That seemed better.

Noah furrowed his brow when she said she was tired. He hoped she wasn’t getting sick. He grabbed a chocolate chip cookie and heated it up for her. Before turning back to her. “Well I h-hope you can g-get some sleep s-s-soon.” He offered. “I’ve b-been okay.” If you consider that he’d recently discovered that he’d forgotten some large chunks of his past.
She smiled lightly, shrugging. “Yeah.. I’m sure tonight will be better.” She had so much on her mind and she was just so stressed. “Yeah? Well, that’s... good?” Chloe posed it as a question just because she was never sure if people meant okay in a good way or okay in a ‘meh’ sort of way. “Had.. much on or just work?”

“Not feeling the holiday spirit this year then?”
Layla stared at the five foot tall reindeer display in the park for far too long, her nose scrunched up the entire time. “If anyone should need me, I’ll be hibernating in my home until January first.”
