I think one of the biggest damages my institution/the Mormon Church did to me was convince me that it was such a horrible, abnormal, immoral thing to have an identity based around sexuality, that I was sick and broken and essentially a danger to everyone around me. But like...I just like sex and thinking about it and daydreaming about it and writing stories and creating characters and drawing pictures and there's nothing wrong with that. And those fuckers were all hypocrites. The Mormon Church is full of predators and misogynists, and my institution specifically had so many predators working there whose crimes were enabled and covered up by everyone else, people who are actually dangerous, people who ruin lives. Me, writing silly sexy stories and drawing silly sexy pictures and having silly sexy daydreams doesn't hurt ANYBODY.
