In honor of today being Anna’s birthday, I figured I might as well share a Kristanna dream that I had several weeks ago since I have nothing else to contribute.

Similar to the vast majority of the fics I write, the dream took place in a modern setting and was “live action.” Anna and Kristoff were the stars of a tv show I was watching, and I’m fairly certain it was a slow burn/enemies to lovers type situation because they were having a straight up bad time with each other in the beginning lol. I’m talking bickering, hostility, the whole 9 yards, but the underlying tension between them was UNREAL - think lots of stolen glances, growing flustered around each other, unfettered babbling, etc. They were around college age, and ever so slowly growing closer and closer to one another, sharing things they never shared with anyone else and surprising themselves with how quickly their feelings for the other were growing. I was vibing with it so hard and binging all the episodes as quickly as I could.

Then I heard one of my actual real life friends was also watching (which, even in this dream, was a huge revelation to me because I didn’t think any of my real life friends adored Anna and Kristoff as much as I do) and of course I needed to freak out about it with her.

Anyways, my friend ended up spoiling the end of the season for me and told me they hooked up LOL. Sadly I woke up before I ever got to that part of the season RIP me.

Happy Birthday, Anna. Glad you got your mans both in the movies and in my dream, and thank you for inspiring my subconscious (and hundreds of thousands of words of fanfic over the years).

Sadly, the answer is no. 🙁 At least not any I'm running. It just takes up too much time I could use for writing, and there wasn't a lot of participation/engagement at last year's events. But if we get enough interested creators, we'll do another Frozen & BATB Yuletide Exchange. It's always exciting to write gifts for friends and to get a lovely gift in return.

But idk maybe someone else is planning to organize an event. If anyone wants to take up the mantle, I'd be happy to share resources and give advice.

Sorry to disappoint about smut week, though! I'm actually so excited about a couple of short smutty fics ill be putting out later this month before going back into hibernation to work on my book, and I'm sure some of the other writers will be writing some smutty stuff, too, even if it's not for an event 😉). I hope you'll check them out. Thank you for the ask!
