Transfering to a different college so my living situation will be different ❤️

As a college student, currently really hungry with nothing to eat, I understand how hard it can be to get food. One tip my art professor told me (he worked at CNN for 25 years, plus designed movie posters)

If you want to use something that's not yours, you need to change it 60-70%. (That's mostly for digital design)

A senior art major got all of her pieces revoked from the senior art show because of plagiarism. It's a big deal. You can get kicked out of college (sometimes not) due to plagerism because it violates Honor Code.

It's okay to practice. I drew this same thing too many years ago. I never posted it, and I never said it was mine. It was for private use, and private study.

If you don't claim it as not your idea, and show it like it was your idea it's still plagiarism.

Art Plagerism Question

So, here's my question. I was on tiktok (ugh) and I saw an artist drawing a dragon head. I immediately recognized it as something I've seen before on google. Lo and behold there it was, someone else's work.

The girl that posted the video, didn't mark it as "practice", or "not her work" or anything. Other people thought it was her own work even though it isn't.

I did call her out on it, and she got angry with me. I kept trying to tell her it was art plagerism because she didn't state it wasn't hers, plus I recognized the drawing that I saw years ago.

I can post photos of our conversation, comments, and other stuff.

Therapy?

I stopped couseling during the middle of my treatment because my mom stopped taking me. We literally didn't have to pay anything, we just had to show up. (However it was about an hour drive to get there) this was in high school, about junior/senior year.

Now I am a junior in college, and I finally decided that I need to go see someone. (Therapist).

The problem is, is that I've been depressed/have anxiety and poor stress management issues, and no one has noticed the most obvious of signs. I myself am too afraid to acknowledge that I hate myself and I'm having a hard time because if I do it'll become "real" to me... if that makes sense.

I sleep too much, or I don't sleep at all. I've gained a lot of weight since high school due to stress eating/borderline eating disorders (I'm assuming, but I know it's not healthy) not feeling like I'm good enough, worthless, constant tiredness, baggage from my past (in high school I was basically diagnosed as having PTSD.)

Now the problem is, is that therapy is hella expensive. So I'm hoping to see the guy at least once or twice every three months, because it's super expensive. I was thinking about trying meds, however, my bf does not think it's the best option for me.

Anyways... fuck me 🙂🔥

Added my loves (sorry it's so long, also, I don't really know what breed they are) (I'm assuming all domestic short hairs)

• Biscuit (5 y/o passed away, medium, independent woman, tortoiseshell) was always laying at my feet, liked pencils, taught her how to sit on command, would always run from wherever she was to the sound of the treat bag, woke me up in the mornings so she could go out, and liked to stand on my chest sometimes and touch her nose to mine lovingly, she also like to nap in sinks, and she knew how to pee into the drain in tubs (for some reason?)

• Beans (> 1 yr. smol boi, black ball of fluf, w/ small white patch on chest) very lazy boi, but he gets crazy in the morning. He loves to play with socks, and likes to play with my mom in her bed. Likes to watch people work/do something. Usually quiet, doesn't meow a lot. Likes to run, currently sleeping on a guitar case. He also likes to sleep in office chairs, and on my legs.

• Zeus (3-4 y/o BIG BOI all black, slim, bob tail) he is very stoic. I've never heard him meow. He is all muscle, and weighs a ton. He likes to hunt in the fields in the morning, even in the rain. His jaw is a little funky, so sometimes his toungue sticks out. Has a scar across his nose from his hunting adventures. Runs the place, his favorite things to hunt are mice and squirrels. His tail fur is chopped up a bit because he got so many burrs in his tail my mom had to cut them out.

There are my babies. Don't get me started w/ the chickens, we have ~200 :)

I feel like the best way to describe my cats is by what they’re currently doing:

TJ (14yo calico) is washing her stomach doing the classic Tubbs pose.

Nacho (big boi orange tabby) is purring on my lap after spending 10 minutes trying to open the lid of the pizza box he was standing on.

Rumbles (smol boi orange tabby) slid behind one of the back couch cushions and has been sleeping there for almost two hours.

River (light gray tabby) is asleep draped over my shoulders because she likes standing on me and kissing my face but then she gets sleepy. 

Stormy (dark gray tabby) is sleeping with his front paws dangling off the edge of a weird part in my house where the wall doesn’t meet the ceiling and I have absolutely no clue how he got up there.

Um, I got two eggs this season! I am beyond excited. They are such beautiful babies! One female one male. Ice and Fire. I haven't been able to play around with the genes yet, but omg! Precious babies!
