Hello! Welcome to my blog The Bookish Goth Girl.
Before I write about reasons why I started this blog I would like to tell you some facts about me.
My name’s Jasmine.
I am 27 years old.
I live in the United States 🇺🇸
I plan to start online college classes. (I’m still searching for schools to go to)
I want to study English Literature.
I love creative writing and I am an aspiring writer.
I love to write short stories, poems flash fiction and fanfiction. I enjoy writing fantasy and horror.
I really really love reading books!
My favorite genres to read are manga, YA fantasy, YA sci-fi and horror.
Besides writing and reading I love drawing. I enjoy drawing anime characters.
Also I love knitting. Specifically loom knitting. Currently I’ve been knitting a scarf.
I love listening to music. Listening to music always me feel calm and happier. I listen to all kinds of music. My favorite genres of music are pop punk, gothic rock and post punk, vocaloid, and occasionally pop.
My favorite bands at the moment are Paramore, Yours Truly, Eat Your Heart Out, Fifth Dawn, The Birthday Massacre, Siousxie And The Banshees.
Its really difficult to choose my favorite bands and singers because I listen to a lot of music!
Also I am a baby bat. If you don’t know what that means. It just means I’m new to the gothic subculture. I will post my gothic outfits on this blog occasionally.
The reason why I created this blog. I want to share my passion for books, reading, and writing with others. I want to make new friendships in the bookish community online. (I’m a very shy person.)
On this blog you will find:
Book Reviews
TBRs (To Be Read Posts)
Wrap-Ups (Monthly Wrap-Ups)
Book Hauls
Writing (My poetry and flash fiction and fanfiction.)
Hope you enjoyed reading this blog post. Don’t forget to follow my Instagram account at jazzythegothgirl
On Instagram I will post book unboxings on Reels.
Don’t forget to like and share this post. Follow me on Tumblr and on my blog for more bookish posts like this!
