They have this weird sorta situationship that they don't really talk or even think about, and if you ask them separately, they'd give different answers

Okay, first of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Congrats on that and on putting out in the world such a cool story!

Now, onto the comic itself: I'M SOOOOO EXCITED TO SEE WHERE THIS IS GOING! Straight from the beginning the mobile layout is stunning and so well thought, I loved the little details of how some dialogues slightly fade as the panels go by. Also, the panels! It's so cinematic to watch, and the details you put into them as the scene progresses makes everything come together increeeeedibly smooth.

Lin Wen is such an endearing character, and everything about this first chapter was such an amazing introduction to her, her little banters, her silly personality, all of it! I especially love characters who are silly and cunning, so she was quick to grow on me. I'm especially intrigued about her mother, and what happened to her, and I can't help but wonder if those tattoos may be related to everything, somehow.

Azra as a god also had a really smooth introduction in that first "Azra, no" (i think that's the first time she's mentioned, but i was so excited reading everything my brain just sort of ran with it).

I feel like there's so much foreshadowing in the cover of the first chapter alone that doesn't make sense just yet and I can't wait for that to change AAAAAH. Like with miss Dekker! Her panels are usually (save some) only partially showing her face, which could be hinting she's hiding something (I mean that's the most likely, suspicious old lady, I have my eyes on you)

Also, Ollie and Dam, can't wait to see more of them either! Poor Dam, afraid of automatons and Ollie full of competitive spirit. I can't wait to see more of this disaster (said lovingly) trio.

Speaking of automatons! I wonder what that one's deal was when it looked at Wen, maybe something we'll see more of later?

I went a bit overboard, but I'm so excited! I look forward to future updates!

A quick update about the comic release.

As you already know, I originally planned to launch it by the end of December, but I’ve decided to push the release to January instead!

The site is almost done, but it still needs some polishing, and I want it to be as pretty (and functional) as possible.

December is a peak holiday month and everyone’s super busy (including me).

Also January is my birth month! So releasing the comic then feels a little like a gift to myself.
