Remember what I said.
It took me a while to realize what Hunter meant when he said this to Echo. I was rewatching Clone Wars season 7 and I gasped--
Hunter basically said that Echo's welcome to come back to them. That he has a place in their squad, their family, even if he has a different path 😭😭😭

Lay down Your sweet and weary head The night is falling You have come to journey's end
Sleep now And dream of the ones who came before
They are calling From across the distant shore
Why do you weep? What are these tears upon your face?
Soon you will see All of your fears will pass away
Safe in my arms You're only sleeping
What can you see On the horizon? Why do the white gulls call?
Across the sea A pale moon rises The ships have come to carry you home
Hope fades Into the world of night Through shadows falling Out of memory and time
Don't say We have come now to the end
White shores are calling You and I will meet again
And you'll be here in my arms Just sleeping
And all will turn To silver glass A light on the water
Grey ships pass Into the west
Lyrics: Into the West, from The Return of the King

They didn't NEED to give hunter a slutty waist and yet they did, AND armor that ACCENTUATED THAT. God bless America and David felony Amen hallelujah

Omega: "Tech won't let me train [to be a pilot] until I can recite all the ship's specifications from memory." ("Devil's Deal")
Tech: "Does this unscheduled break mean you are fully versed in every ship in the Imperial fleet?" Omega: [groan] "Do I have to do this right now? We're on a mission." Tech: "That does not give you a pass on your studies." ("Spoils of War")
Okay, but seriously: thorough knowledge of various ship specs literally saved Omega's life multiple times.
Not only did Omega know enough about the Imperial ships to help come up with an escape plan even after the escape pods were ejected in "Spoils of War," but she was able to fly 2 different kinds of ships at the drop of a hat while escaping Tantiss and Lau.
It wasn't just Tech's piloting lessons that saved her; it was also his insistence on her having the necessary background knowledge that would make those skills transferrable, no matter what situation she may find herself in.

I just know that Echos 501st ARC ass would have sat himself down on a rock and kicked his feet up the second that Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair decided they want to fight Ventress.
He's like been there, done that. have fun getting your ass wooped.

Two of my top favorite short action sequences in the show just so happen to be in back to back episodes.
^ Omega being observant as ever, adjusting parameters to her advantage, and COMPLETELY trusting Hunter to catch her ❤️
^ Also the way Tech sprints to catch up to Omega to pull her to safety right before this... ❤️❤️❤️

My final self-indulgent Hunter heart moodboard, this time for all of season 3! 🥰🥰
What an absolute delight to see his journey in the final season! To see him start off at the end of his rope, barely holding on to his sanity as he tried to find Omega to then ending the show at his best and happiest, having lived a peaceful life with his family and letting Omega grow up. Not only that, but seeing him be distrusting of Crosshair in the beginning to trusting him wholly and completely by the end and the two of them fighting side by side again was truly a wonderful journey to watch! He truly shed his armor as a soldier and grew into a brother and a father. I love this man so much and I'm going to miss him! 🥹💜
