Head cannon: Ginny Broke A Curse By Being Born

I know this may sound obvious/stupid. Since I don't know who would/why the Weasley's would be cursed like this. But think about it.

Background lore on the Weasley family says that there hasn't been a girl born in the family for generations. (I think its at least 3?)

Molly and Arthur had to have seven children to get one girl.

Yet when you look at the kids born after Ginny's generation: Bill has two girls out of three kids, Percy has two girls, Ron has a girl, George has a girl.

The Weasley family is suddenly having a heap of girls/daughters. And they are all after Ginny was born to the family.

Oh my gosh! I completely forgot to post this. I drew this over a year ago for a friend of mine who is a big fan of Harry Potter (especially Prisoner of Azkaban).

Ron: Bloody Hell! Molly: Ron! Alright, which one of you boys taught Ron a bad word? Bill: It wasn’t me. Charlie: I taught him how to say Golden Snitch. Percy: I would never use such language in front of Ron and Ginny, Mother. Fred: We’d never do such a thing, would we George? George: I wouldn’t, but Fred might. Molly: Well one of you did! Arthur: Molly? It was me. I was playing with the hammer and nails Like muggles do and accidentally hit my thumb. But I didn’t say bloody hell though. Ron: Fred and George taught me to say that. Dad taught me to say bollocks.

Can’t you see how much better off he’ll be growing up away from all of that until he is ready to take it? Albus Dumbledore on one of the reasons why he wanted Harry to live with the Dursleys.

also almost didnt give percy his glasses bc his actor wasn’t wearing any and i was like what the hell yeah be blind. but then i thought icant have glassless percy. not under my watch

Spider Porridge

As a two-year-old, Rose was at that age where she was into everything and it became impossible for Ron and Hermione to leave her for less than a minute.

She had recently developed the habit of picking things up and putting them in her mouth, much to Ron’s horror. Hermione told him not to worry about it. It was a phase that she was going through and she would soon grow out of it.

One morning, Hermione was busy at the kitchen table with her report on House Elf welfare whilst Rose was having breakfast. So far, Rose was quiet and eating her porridge which Hermione appreciated. She had a lot to do and the deadline for her report was coming up faster than the Hogwarts Express.

“Mummy, there’s a big spider!” Rose exclaimed suddenly.

“Yes, Rosie, she’s made her web outside the window, “Hermione said absentmindedly.” Now eat your porridge, there’s a good girl.”

Hermione continued to work on her report, but Rose sounded as if she were straining to reach something.

Hermione looked up and saw a large spider on the table about a foot away from Rose.

Seven post-war Ronmione head cannons

1) Ron and Crookshanks become the best of friends and when Crookshanks gets old, Ron offers Crookshanks his seat so that he doesn’t have sit on the floor.

2) Hermione wanted to do everything: The cooking, the cleaning, managing her career. But after burning their dinner after trying to multitask on a report, Ron suggested that he do some of the work and Hermione can focus on her career. But he put his foot down at her eating dinner whilst trying to do her reports.

3) Spending a weekend with their godson and nephew, James Sirius Potter was  made them both want a baby of their own. They just hoped that their child didn’t have his energy.  4) Ron struggled to make it as an Auror like Harry did. He had a lot of nightmares and it was beginning to affect his mood. It was Hermione who turned to George for help leading George to offer him a job at his Joke shop.  5) Hermione was the one to offer their nieces and nephews practical advice whilst Ron would lighten the mood with his sense of humour.

6) Before Rose was able to talk, Hermione would read Hogwarts a History to her to Ron’s amusement. Ron would joke that he still hadn’t read the book himself and ran away before Hermione could suggest that he read the book himself.

7) Whilst Rose and Hugo might have been exasperated by their behaviour at times, Harry would joke that they were always acting like a married couple ever since they met. Ron would joke that no matter what teenage tantrums they went through, they saw it all with Harry.

Some post-war Ron, Hermione and Crookshanks head canons:

1) When Ron can’t get Hermione to go to bed when she’s busy working, Crookshanks would walk all over Hermione’s work, occasionally leaving inky paw prints on her reports. Hermione would realise that it’s time to go to bed.

2) Crookshanks’s favourite spot in the house is the sofa and Ron would sit on the floor. Hermione would see them like that and smile to herself. Crookshanks would be stretched out on the sofa purring loudly and Ron would sometime not be able to hear himself thinking.

3) Ron sometimes gets worried that Hermione isn’t eating enough because she’s so busy so he sends Pigwideon with some food for Hermione. After Pigwideon delivered the food, he would spend the time flying around the Ministry of Magic being his excited self before Hermione would bring him home and Crookshanks would be pleased to see them both.

4) When Rose was born, Crookshanks would be weary of her but wouldn’t leave Rose’s side. Rose would be gentle with him and Crookshanks would view Rose as his kitten.

5) Even when he got old, Crookshanks was still playful and he would sometimes try to attack Hermione’s quill when she was busy writing and Ron would have to get him away. Preferably with a tin of tuna.

Viktor Krum according to the book description. I really tried to draw him in a special way. So that he really stood out against the background of my other drawings. Well, the nose is definitely striking.
