Hello Cal!

I was hoping if I can get some of your opinion and advice for whichever team should I build?

Ya already know I have the Firefly team (Gallagher, Firefly, MC and Ryan Mei) but I wanna finally build a second team since I have enough characters to do so but I am not sure which one is the best to build so what’s your thoughts and advice?

Hmm... teams...

The team that I see right now is Gepard, Sparkle/Bronya, Misha, and HuoHuo/Pela, but what's important is you figure out who it is you enjoy playing with, and finding out what teams are fun for you to play with! Choose your favorites and learn how to play with them... and HSR will be a lot more fun.

I know we started talking about this over on discord but I thought it'd be easier to send the stuff here oop. May I ask how to do the Aventurine syndrome (outdpsing the dps) build you talked about in that one Huohuo post? Also if it's alright, may I ask for team ideas as well?

Okay so let me be so honest rn, I have no idea how to actually pull off the Aventurine syndrome. You don't do it intentionally, it just happens to you.

However~

In order to pull off Aventurine Syndrome, you'll need a few things. Your best bet will be fucking around in the simulated universe/divergent universe since you get extra buffs that make it easier to pull off.

The second thing you need is crit rate and crit dmg sub stats on all your pieces! If you really want it, use a crit main stat on your little healer.

The third thing is you need support!!!! Your dps is nothing without your suPPORTS. For you, your supports are the backbone of your team. But... you don't have many options... so, I would suggest... March 7th, Pela, Hanya and HuoHuo. If you have friends with Sparkle, Bronya, Aventurine, etc. Use them as well!

May your HuoHuos jump all her haters.

My friend I has come for an opinion. Should I pull for Argenti or save for Huohuo. I'm over 50 pulls again from trying for Ruan Mei so if history repeats itself I should get someone in the next few rolls, so I wanted to know you thoughts on who I should get

Hiya, Beth~ Personally, I always pull for whoever I want at the time, but for someone who's still doing the storyline, the question will always be different...

Argenti or HuoHuo... who to pull...

Well, this answer depends on what you feel you need! Do you need an AoE DPS who can deal a lot of damage at once? Or, do you need a decent healer with good support capabilities? Are you struggling with damage or are you struggling with survivability?

If you need a good physical DPS who has decent AOE? Then, keep trying to pull for Argenti!

If you need a good healer with support abilities? Then, save for HuoHuo!

In the end, the choice is up to you! And remember, pity carries over through the banners, so if you do try for Argenti and don't get him, you can always go for HuoHuo! Or, anyone else in the future who seems interesting.

Hmm, let's see... team compositions for Firefly... With what you have...

I'd suggest what I dub "The Boothill Effect"! IE, stack her up with as much break effect besties as possible.

From your roster, I'd suggest... Firefly, Ruan Mei, Trailblazer, and Gallagher! Just... make sure you can break the enemies weaknesses or else it will all be for NAUGHT!

Alternatively, you could also go Firefly, Trailblazer/Ruan Mei, Asta/Bronya, and Luocha for more general chaos!

Oh! And I did unlock all areas and relics, just wanted to mention it in case hahah~

lets GOOOOOOOO (been a huohuo enjoyer since day one, has her e1, first limited five star to get copies of)

welcome to my huohuo deep dive, here you will learn to huohuo like a true huohuo enjoyer.

How you build your HuoHuo somewhat depends on what you're looking to get out of her. HuoHuo is funny in the way she can be a pure healer HuoHuo, a hybrid healer support HuoHuo, or as I've dubbed, Aventurine Syndrome: HuoHuo edition (accidentally outdps-ing your dps) (yes this has happened to me) (no my huohuo isn't built to deal damage this just randomly happens)

Here will be the basics to building your HuoHuo! Pay attention! Please.

The HuoHuo Skill Breakdown: Before you can officially HuoHuo, you must understand HOW to HuoHuo.

HuoHuo is a wind character who follows the path of Abundance, meaning her main role in a team will be that of a healer. In addition to being able to heal, HuoHuo also provides many buffs to your allies via skill and ultimate.

HuoHuo's basic attack is just this, a basic attack. Don't focus on it unless you're bored and want to level it up, like me <3

HuoHuo's skill, Talisman: Protection, is the core of HuoHuo's kit. Using this skill, she will dispel a debuff from your chosen ally, and heal them for a portion of their hp based on HuoHuo's own max hp. She will also heal adjacent allies to the chosen ally's left and right, healing up to three allies at once. Using her skill will grant HuoHuo two stacks of Divine Provision (three if you have her E1), and while you possess it, three things can happen.

When allies use their ultimate or their turn starts, they will get healed for a small portion of their hp.

Every ally with 50% hp or lower will also be healed once.

It will dispel one debuff from an ally at the start of their turn.

HuoHuo's ultimate, Tail: Spiritual Domination, is a support ultimate where HuoHuo will regenerate a certain amount of energy for all allies, as well as increase their attack for 2 turns.

HuoHuo's bonus talents grant the following:

Fearful to Act - Gains 1 turns worth of Divine Provision at the start of a battle.

The Cursed One - Crowd Control Resist increases by 35%.

Stress Reaction to Horror - Regenerates 1 energy when her talent is triggered to heal allies.

Pure Healer HuoHuo: This HuoHuo build will focus on getting HuoHuo to heal your team as much as possible! For lightcones, you will either want to go either:

Warmth Shortens Cold Nights or Hey, Over Here

Both of these are 4-star lightcones that increase the wearer's max hp, as well as restore ally hp/increase outgoing healing. And since HuoHuo scales with hp to heal, the more she can get, the better it will be for her!

For this build, you will want to go with Passerby of Wandering Cloud, Which increases outgoing healer and immediately regenerates one skill point at the beginning of a battle.

For the attributes, you will want to go for HP/ATK/HP Percentage or Outgoing Healing Bonus/HP percentage or SPD main stats. Since we are building a pure healer here, you might want to go Triple HP or Double HP and Healing Bonus! Who CARES if HuoHuo's a little slow /j

As for substats, you'll want HP/HP Percentage, as well as SPD and Effect RES!

For the Sphere and Rope, for pure healer HuoHuo, you'll go with Fleet of the Ageless, which increases max HP! You'll go HP Percentage Sphere and HP Percentage Rope.

Your substats can be whatever you want!! (HP, SPD, Effect RES)

Hybrid Healer Support HuoHuo: This HuoHuo build will focus on HuoHuo as a hybrid support! This is actually the less popular option for some reason, according to in-game player data. But, this is how I built my HuoHuo, so, I am a wee bit biased hehe. For lightcones, you got many MANY more options, such as:

Night of Fright (HuoHuo LC), Time Waits for No One (5* Baliu LC), Shared Feeling, and Fine Fruit/Multiplication (3* LC)

It's your choice in what it is you want to use, since these lightcones all have varying passives. It's up to what you have and what you want your HuoHuo to do. For me, I have Time Waits for No One on HuoHuo since it gives max HP increase, outgoing healing, and deals additional dmg once per turn.

So, read up on those passive skills and decide what you want to use!

For this build, I recommend Messenger Traversing Hackerspace! This set increases SPD and increases the SPD of allies when using your ultimate. This bonus is really nice for HuoHuo, since then her ultimate will be giving you three buffs instead of just two buffs and it's a set that can benefit every team.

For the attributes, you'll want to go for the same as healer HuoHuo, which is HP/ATK/HP Percentage or Outgoing Healing Bonus/HP Percentage or SPD main stats. However, instead of Triple HP like Healer HuoHuo, you'll want to go with SPD boots instead of HP % boots! HP % vs Outgoing Healing Bonus is a personal decision, that one is up to you! Alternatively, you could be do fucked up funny and put on a CRIT DMG body on her for the meme and watch her commit crimes of spooky normal attack violence (did that once)

For the substats, same rules as Healer HuoHuo! HP/HP Percentage, Effect RES and SPD! Unless you're fucked up and gremlin-like, then CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG work too <3

For Sphere and Rope, you also have a lot more options! You can be a fucked up gremlin (ie, DPS HuoHuo, I'm not telling you how to build it even though I know how because this is a MEME/j) or you can be normal and run sets like Penacony, Land of the Dreams (Increases Energy Regeneration, also good if you're running other wind characters like Blade, Sampo, or Black Swan), Broken Keel (Effect RES and increases ally CRIT DMG when Efeect RES is 30% or higher, which is easy to get with HuoHuo.), or Springly Vonwacq (Increases Energy Regeneration, and when SPD is 120 or higher, action advancement).

For the actual attributes... for sphere, you can run HP percentage or Wind DMG Bonus if you're funny, and for link, you'll run either HP percent or Energy Regeneration! Probably Energy Regeneration for more support value.

Okay, your substats here can ACTUALLY be whatever you want. Effect RES, SPD, DEF, HP, it's all lowkey very good on a hybrid HuoHuo!!

Trace Priority: LIVE YOUR LIFE HOW YOU WANTTTTTTTTT.

Healer HuoHuo: Skill > Talent > Extra Abilities > Ultimate > Basic ATK

Hybrid HuoHuo: Ultimate and Skill > Extra Abilities > Talent > Basic ATK

( These are just my personal suggestions lmao )

XUEYI IS ALSO SO MUCH FUN TBH.. Forget Ratio, build Xueyi! /j /lh

Okay but seriously, Xueyi is a very fun 4 star DPS to build and play with. Any of the several Break Effect sets (Like Thief of Shooting Meteor or Watchmaker, Master of Dream Machinations, or Iron Calvary Against the Scourge) work very well on her!

As for Gallagher, he is a pretty decent healer! He's a great option for a healer if you need someone who can deal fire damage for weakness reduction, and he can easily be swapped out with Natasha, Lynx, or even Bailu if you need a different weakness. He also scales with break effect, so he makes a good partner with Xueyi, Firefly, Misha, Trailblazer and more.

I plan to go back to play HSR and tbh with you i didn’t play that far in the game and only still in first chapter of the game so i am basically playing as a new player lol.

What I wanna ask is what type of relics I should get as a new player and what best team I should use?

I know seeing my character levels is a pain but in my defence I never really played the game sooo~ any advice and tips when I play the game again?

anyways, hii klai! your relics will heavily depend upon what characters you're using in your team, so we'll create a team and THEN go through what relics to use on them! For the sake of simplicity, we'll go with one team and expand on relics from there.

I shall refrain from my... Dr. Ratio team propaganda (Dr. Ratio, Pela, Tingyun, and Natasha in this case! ... oops I did it again.) and give you. a different option! I introduce to you... the ✨Qingque team✨fun team to play, silly unit to build, my girl is just a DELIGHT to play tbh.

The Qingque team consists of the following: Qingque, Gepard, Pela/Tingyun and Natasha! Gepard will be your sustain, responsible for keeping you alive, Qingque will be your DPS, Pela/Tingyun will be your support character, providing buffs/debuffs, and Natasha will be your healer!

Depending on if you play this team on auto or manual depends on how skill-point-heavy this team will be, unfortunately. For the most part, you can get away with not using Pela, Natasha, and Gepard's skills, thus obtaining skill points for Qingque to use in her next turn. What is the most important for those three are their ultimates, which give DEF down, healing, and shield!

As for relics, here are my suggestions! Since you're still in Belebog, your options will be limited, unfortunately! So, I'll be giving you two relic sets, one you can work with now, and the ideal set once you get to the proper places in the story!

Qingque - For Qingque, I would suggest the Genius of Brilliant Stars set, which boosts quantum damage and ignores enemy defense! You'll find this set in Belebog at the Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Providence in the snow plains! As for what to use on Qingque later on... honestly you could just stick with GoBS since it is technically her best in slot set. Alternatively, you can also use Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters on her and still get decent damage. It boosts damage dealt to enemies with debuffs and increases crit rate and crit damage.

Natasha - For Natasha, I would suggest the Passerby of Wandering Cloud set, which increases outgoing healing (meaning Natasha will heal everyone for more HP) and recovers a skill point at the beginning of the battle! Which, with Qingque, you will NEED that skill point. You'll get some of these pieces as you travel through the game, so no need to specifically grind for them! But, once you get past the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone, you'll be able to find the Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Drifting if you want to grind for better pieces. As for later on, I would suggest Messenger Traversing Hackerspace if your team is having issues with speed and attacking before the enemy! This set boosts speed and grants the entire bonus speed when they use their ultimate.

Pela - For Pela, I would suggest the Guard of Wuthering Snow set, which you can find in the same domain as GoBS! So, I would start here for artifacts here since that's two characters in one shot! It reduces the damage Pela will take and restores HP and energy when she falls below 50% hp. Honestly, I would continue to roll with this set in late game, since there is not really a better set for Pela since she's kind of a broken set kind of girlie? What she needs is effect hit rate, but there's no set out yet that boosts that specifically... If you do end up wanting to change her, I would suggest Messenger Traversing Hackerspace once again! But, just be aware if you have two MTH users in a team, the teamwise SPD boost on ultimate will not stack.

Gepard - For him, right now, you'll want to run him on the same set as Pela, Guard of Wuthering Snow, since his best-in-slot set is not available until you start the Xianzhou Luofu. This set is the Knight of Purity Place set, which increases defense and the maximum damage a shield Gepard makes with his ultimate can absorb. You'll find this set at the Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Holy Hymm and it's Gepard's best set.

May I ask for team ideas for my.. Rather limited roster of characters?

Happy to help! Let me see what you have...

From this roster, I can make... three solid team compositions for you, Beth!

The first team is a Break Effect Team!! My first suggestion would be putting Trailblazer, Firefly, Pela, and Gallagher together in a team. Firefly would be your main DPS, Trailblazer and Pela would be your two supports (offering super break and def down on all enemies), and Gallagher would be your healer! This team would be very good in AOE situations, such as grinding domains for books and relics, as well as just a generally solid team overall.

The second team I can see is a Follow-Up Team!! This team is a little more skill-point-heavy, but... putting Himeko, Herta, March 7th, and Lynx in a team together would work together. March 7th can provide shields and dispel debuffs, and whenever a teammate with a shield gets attacked, she'll counter! If the enemy has ice weakness and she breaks their weakness, this adds to Himeko's "Victory Rush" counter, and once she gets 3 stacks, she launches a follow-up attack. If this brings the enemies below 50% HP, this triggers Herta's follow attack... and it just keeps going and going! Very funny to watch the chaos ensue. Lynx is there for any emergency heals, and her skill can be used on March 7th to make her more likely to get attacked... meaning more counters, more triggers, and more follow-up attacks!

And finally... I can suggest to you a DPS Imaginary team! This team is very flexible, you can replace almost anyone in this team down the line as you get better units for this job. For right now, my suggestion is... Dr. Ratio or Welt, Serval, Pela, and Gallagher! Dr. Ratio requires debuffs to get the best out of him, meaning you need characters who can apply debuffs with ease! Serval, Gallagher, and Pela can all apply different forms of debuffs with their skills and ultimates that can trigger Dr. Ratio's follow-up attack, as well as emergency healing when the team needs it. Alternatively, depending on what you feel you need, you can swap out Pela/Serval for Asta, who offers SPD boosts and increases ATK with her passive skill, or for March 7th if you're experiencing issues with survivability. These teammates also work very well for Welt depending on if you need more AOE that you can't get with Dr. Ratio, and the debuffs/buffs your teammates can offer in this team help him do more damage faster!
