yup! and, while Baily has encountered a few other baby dragons before, they had parents that would take the kid back after half a day or so (and give Bailey a very generous "thanks for babysitting" gift) so Bailey is very aware of dragons n whatnot but still doesn't have much experience with them

that being said they totally have some dusty old book somewhere with all the dragon secrets in it that they treat like a draconic bible

another cute little sneak peek at that drawing i started and havent touched in a while of all their familys; both Great Hawk and Black Wolf are half dragon and half other monster (griffin and werewolf, respectively) so they had families!

Black Wolf eventually got his pack after losing his parents (sadge) and while Great Hawk tried to become friends with the other avian monsters around town, none of them wanted to be friends so GH was lonely for a long while :(

and yes. Remy suffers greatly in dragon land

SINCE EGG HAS A TREE HOUSE.. DOES HE EVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE HOARDS OF ANIMALS IN THE FOREST?? LIKE THE WOLVES?

yes. the main creature trespassers are bugs and spiders bc the treehouse door closes properly and has a handle, but it's not like deer or whatever can't get in, it's just harder since they aren't naturally built to climb stairs and open doors

thankfully, most of the animals leave Egg and the treehouse alone after examining either/both (minus the wolves, but they're his friends so they're welcome guests in the treehouse <3 he'll leave the door open sometimes so the wolves can nap on the beanbags or smth)

they each had their own strat. Kylar found success imitating an inchworm, Egg thought galumphing was fun and just started doing it to get around, and Sydney just wriggled about until they found a way to get from A to B the fastest

and their wings n whatnot arent developed enough to fly until late the late teens so they were groundbound worms for a good while </3 and they have to learn how to fly on top of all that <///3 life's so hard for them

they're alive! and well, even!! they got in touch with Bailey some while after Dragon PC hatched and got to half-reclaim PC

Bailey didnt want to let go of the golden goose and his parents didnt care enough to fight Bailey on where PC actually lived, so

PC's mom took care of his education n whatnot, and his dad would randomly drop by to take PC "on an epic adventure" or "hang out like a couple of cool guys" (it would always just be fishing at the lake or watching cartoons)

but!! they stopped doing it so much when PC turned like. 8 or smth. his mom still takes a lead in what PC is expected to do and his dad still pops up for smth nonsensical but it's only like once a year per parent now
