I am so thankful for this place, where I found joy in the rain. Thankful for its front porch, full of late night talks and early morning coffees. Thankful for its nooks and crannies, flowerbeds and trees. How do you ignore the peace in our existence? How do you not feel the pull of it? Do you not hear the draw of conversation, the ease of contemplation? Where is your mind, when we dance on the bare floor, inhibitions nonexistent? Where is your heart when the rain is pouring around us, drenching our hot skin? Is it not there with mine, so at peace and in harmony that it could burst? So tell me then, how do you ignore it? Why did you pull me into it? Where is my purpose, and what am I to do?

Day ten started bright and early, going just into the edge of the mountains to watch the sunrise with great friends and good coffee ☕️! Day seven. Where do I begin?! I went horseback riding through the mountains, and finished right before the sky opened. I fell in love with the Black Hills on day four. (Seriously I had to pull over SO many times!) While there I saw some things carved in stone and ate ice cream while doing my best to avoid the crowds. https://www.instagram.com/p/CDUdmrSHpaR/?igshid=1lngh3lwgq8it

I went to see just how bad these lands were on day three. I took a SUPER long hike to the tippy top of the point in the second picture.
