why fandoms always have to devolve into this at some point? Do these people just don't know where to vent frustration from dying for 420 times in fucking Sky Islands or what?

The Rain World fandom is not welcoming.

Maybe I shouldn't, but I'd like to thank the many people in the Rain World community for finally openly questioning the vitriolic and misanthropic way hatred and unsubstantiated accusations eat this community. For some time I have been drifting away from interacting with the Rain World fandom openly at all, debating if I even want to post any art I make again to this account. It is not welcoming anymore and does not feel safe. Many great artists have left. It is not inspiring to sit around and get attention in an atmosphere where the more attention you get the more you know many of the eyes that are looking toward you are searching for a weak point to go after. By the looks of it, if there is enough festering hatred then people will just make things up about you, and nobody cares to check if it's true or not; it only matters if they wish it to be. It didn't help that I myself have had people come after me in the past and claim untrue things about me, only to be unquestioningly believed. I personally do not like Pansear, for personal reasons. Their art is not to my taste and they lack constitution. But I almost certainly know those screenshots of them allegedly in a server with Emily are entirely fabricated. So I thank the people in this community for caring enough to say anything. Don't let misanthropic hateful people get their way by performing moral superiority and intimidating others, without a care about how they push away and intimidate the inspiration out of artists, passion for a one-of-a-kind vibrantly beautiful game dwindling and being eaten away.

this a great showcase of Fourier series ("Evil Math") at work. Every function can be approximated by a sum of sines, but when you reimagine sines as rotating vectors (imaginary numbers), you can approximate basically any drawing.

Fun fact: by just using imaginary numbers, some Evil Math, and 101 rotating vectors You Can Create a shitty approximation of a fish.

I absolutely despise driving. It's not fun at all and it all i feel is soul crushing anxiety. Whenever im behind the wheel i only see myself as a danger to everyone else as one tiny mistake can end in tragedy.

I only made myself a license because my dad asked me to do so and funded it while telling me that it will be useful. Guess what? I haven't touched a wheel for over a year now and i don't see a reason to do so on the horizon at all. Praise the bicycle and public transport.
