“I think everything in life is art. What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. And the way you feel. Life is art.”

You cannot hesitate. The only thing worse than being incompetent, or being unkind, or being evil, is being indecisive.

So a weird thing about chronic illness is that you sometimes casually forget that you can change some things about your well being?
I've been sitting in my own home for an hour uncomfortably cold like a dumbass, not even thinking about going the literal five steps to the drawer and grabbing a sweater because I forgot that I don't have to just suffer through this as well.
No it's not executive disfunction or lack of spoons (where you know you want one but can't make yourself go get one), I just forgot it was an option at all. Anyways, kids, reality check, can you do something right now to make you feel a bit better?

It began as a holiday. Eager to escape a great future on the Great Plains, Arthur Howitzer Jr., transformed a series of travelogue columns into the French Dispatch. A factual report on the subjects of world politics, the arts, high and low, and diverse stories of human interest.
