Convo and Realization

I asked random people "What's the difference between attachment and love?"

There's a guy who answered:

Well I think of attachment as being a stage in love

There's emotional attachment, physical attachment and sexual attachment. All are needed for a relationship

That's what he says. And it makes sense for me.

For me, love is a feeling and a choice.

So I agree with him that attachment is part or stage of love. So if you're attached to someone, then you'll choose whether to love or leave.

I wanted to write a love story about us.

But then I ask..

Was it love?

Was it?

Pause for a moment.

Maybe not.

But it feels real, a conflicting thought pops.

Give it a moment.

Perfection

I thought perfection is having a flawless body, smooth skin, soft hair, white teeth, ideal height and having everything. I wanted that perfection… That will be accepted and loved by everyone.

I am frustrated by my skin color, my teeth, by my pimples, my scars and everything that makes me imperfect.

I realized that perfection is not having that ideal body, face and/or having everything that you want. Perfection is accepting what God has given. Accepting and loving yourself. Perfection is being yourself. Perfection is giving importance to what you have. Perfection is having satisfaction. Perfection is irony. Perfection is accepting imperfections.
