First, the Desolation came.
The Gods abandoned their people in exchange for furthering their own greed-fueled desire for power. They wanted more and more- squeezing the land of its worth, leaving the people to starve.
Creeping along like a desperate vine, a great and terrible chill spread out across the land in the newfound absence of the Divine, and yet, when called out for that- they'd strike back claiming "insolence". They knew better, no? How dare we question them. But I did. These were the people I loved, even if I was no one.
I strove to bring back the Sun.
