it is a website that has donation drives 4(?) times a year and regularly exceeds their goal by hundreds of fucking dollars, but can't even protect their unpaid volunteers from being spammed with CSA

do not fucking defend A03's refusal to moderate their content.

Removing RPF and CSA and racism is not a slippery slope to removing queer content, unless you think the only queer content to exist is inherently CSA or racist??

then again considering how many mlm ships i've seen in fandoms pair up the child protagonist with the 40-60 year old villain "in the name of gay shipping", I'm honestly not surprised so many of these people are up in arms about CSA being removed.

If your queer content is indistinguishable from CSA and RPF maybe you should think about why you're sexualizing children and violating real human being's by using their names and images for your own personal pleasure?

Honestly, the term "Sex Strike" makes me feel uncomfortable. You strike when you refuse to do your job. Labor that is your responsibility. "Sex Strike" implies that women are denying, gatekeeping something that men are owed. A woman isn't taking anything from men when she chooses not to have sex with them, so it shouldn't count as a strike even if she is doing it temporarily until situation improves. Anyone else?

Let's not forget they express their emotions all the time. Punching walls? The tv? Throwing chairs after their favourite team lost? Scream and harass? That's showing emotion, even if they don't want to admit it, even if they think crying is the only way of showing emotion

i saw them say that 4B & 6B4T, movements that started in South Korea and China, were white feminism; i saw them say supporting iranian women's anti-hijab protests were white feminism. literally just a bunch of stupid people that call anything "white" in an attempt to make it seem bad and useless. and funny enough this only happens with radical feminist movements— are you that scared of radical feminism?

I’ve seen a few posts going around with advice on how to persuade a guy to use a condom if he doesn’t want to, or saying things like “if the choice is a condom or no sex, he’ll pick the sex”. Well, I’m here to tell you all that if a guy is that indifferent towards your physical safety and comfort, you should absolutely not have sex with him at all. I’m tired of always being asked to cajole and wheedle men into treating women decently. I don’t want advice that tells me that if I don’t want to have sex with a guy, I should try to bargain him down to a less invasive sex act. I don’t want advice that tells me I need to find ways to deal with men who don’t care. I want advice that tells me how to say no to these kinds of guys, because no matter how much you beg and negotiate, they’ll still be trash. I should have my boundaries respected.

You have made posts about how you are against self diagnosis because the individual in question is not qualified and therefore does not have the knowledge about the whole situation, disorder, potential problems, etc.

However, you have made posts in agreement with people saying how therapists wouldn’t allow or agree with writing problematic content. Even saying in one post how it’s possible for the therapist to be a creep themselves.

I could be misunderstanding you, which is why I am coming to you directly, but shouldn’t the arguments be the same?The random people on tumblr aren’t qualified to discredit things that were advocated for by therapists just the same way that they aren’t qualified to self diagnose themselves. In a sense, it’s a conversation about subtly diagnosing others v diagnosing yourself.

But, maybe I misunderstood your train of thoughts. So, I would love to have a discussion with you about it.
