Shinsou is in the new team up mission chapter and according to this thread:

-1B filled shinsous room with training materials, including sound proofing it and giving him a bookcase of psychology books to study.

-meanwhile, 1A's room for shinsou looks like this

-none of 1A knew what to do for shinsous room so they fucking followed him around a mall and based the ENTIRE THING off of ONE THING shinsou bought, which was a ganriki cat plushie

-shinsou does not have his license yet

-shinsou can read lips, which the other kids think is a detective like skill

-shinsou spends a good part of the chapter comforting and calming down a man with a "villainous" quirk who is worried he'll be falsely accused of stealing

-turns out, aizawa sends shinsou on totally training unrelated errands for him, including buying eri cat plushies

-shinsou does not appear to think this is weird at all

This, along with the scene in the light novel where aizawa asks shinsou if little girls like cat clothes and then runs off without explanation, supports my growing theory that aizawa constantly asks shinsou weird shit and shinsou is just so fucking used to it that he barely notices.
