What she says: I'm fine
What she means: I need to know so much more about Sandor Clegane's past service to the Lannisters. What was it that Tywin saw in the scarred little boy that made him take him into service? What did he do to earn the honour of guarding the Lannisters only daughter and future queen of the seven kingdoms? Was it this great act of trust that bought the hound's steadfast loyalty to the lords of the Rock, despite their many sins? Was Cersei disgusted by her ugly new guard? Was she impressed by his strength? Did she notice him at all? Did Sandor know how she loved Jaime, or was she really able to fool her own bodyguard? Did he hear her cry when she was told he would be married off to Robert, a man she could not love, and sent away from her home? Is it her hatred for her brother the imp that gave him the same low regard for a man with which he has so much in common? Did Cersei trust him with her secrets, with her life? Why else would he be given to protecting her first and most beloved child? Was he ever just a little bit in love with her, she who shone like the sun? Or was he always repelled by her cruel, clawing ambition? Did he feel sorry for the woman she became? Did he sneer at little Sansa because he saw her as his one-time charge born again, a pretty, sweet-smelling maid full of hope and ambition, who would only be turned broken and bitter by the hateful world of King's Landing? Why does he still not have a pov chapter to explain these things?? Will George ever let us know???

in ancient rome one of the careers you could have was professional mourner, and your job was just to go to funerals and wail as loudly as you could, and honestly we should bring that back because that’s the sort of career i could see myself doing in the future
