It might be difficult to move on from certain things that leave an effect but what's more effective is the realisation of the fact that the mind was lost into something that was never really your frame. Inspite of multiple efforts one doesn't receive success from the other side never means that it's about deserving, rather moving on to something better and waiting for what you are worthy of. It was a lesson, a chapter which you need to turn over when completed. It is difficult indeed but what's waiting for you next is exceedingly finer.

But for the unquiet heart and brain
A use in measured language lies;
The sad mechanic exercise
Like dull narcotics numbing pain.

How happy are you ?
“The value of life lies not in the length of days, but in the use we make of them… Whether you find satisfaction in life depends not on your tale of years, but on your will.”                                                                                                                                              – Michel de Montaigne
Happiness is all about doing the right thing that your own soul yearns for. By right I mean ethically, behaviorally, logically and  lawfully right. Someone having a criminal mindset and is following a thought that whatever they do or think of is right isn’t my area of discussion at all. What I want to pull under the edge of my “happiness”verdict is that in the world population of 7.7 billion people how many of them do you think are happy ? The more humanitarian explanation of someone being happy is when they are satisfied with what they are doing in lives and not being driven by seeing what other people have cultivated for themselves. What happened ? Did your mind give you a reminiscence of the fact that you are standing in the spot of false contentment ? Are you one of those people who belong to the row of the “I’m not happy but good at faking it that my life is all butterflies and glitters” ? That was an offending statement for many who are somehow fitting into the highlight. Well, clearly no one likes the truth to be told by others, specially when it pierces that “realization” arena and tugs out your interrogative self if what you are doing makes you happy.
Being more precise about what I want to put forward is people around are incapable of that ultimate discovery of what they want to do in life and hence it has become a life-long pursuit for them. For instance someone who’s willing to get into acting but are shadowed by their doubts and fears about the struggle and the odds of succeeding leave the pace and become a part of the common run. They often end up choosing something very opposite of their instinctual response, either out of necessity or concern for security. Such decisions aren’t individually drawn but are also the result of least or no motivation in the direction of where the inclination lies. If someone for example, doesn’t want to become an engineer rather a writer will later face the world standing to intimidate him/her from the wrestle of being in that race. The first presence that’ll come in the way will be the parents. This isn’t a blame game that I’m trying to picture but a perspective that needs a required analysis. Parents look forward to the security of their children which lies in getting an esteemed degree and a ending up into a fairly paying job. Their’s no fault in the estimated opinion of choosing a secure path that provides someone with the staples of comfortable living. But what if the the job isn’t aligned with one’s passion, it is very unlikely to feel fulfilled or contented and there slides in the “I’m not happy with what I’m doing “phase. It however doesn’t end there. When taken a survey in America it was found that around 65% of the citizens were dissatisfied with their occupations. And while part of that figure stems from the state of economy, a larger portion of that percentage represents people who simply are uninterested, uninspired and unfulfilled by their jobs. The episodic flow reaches in self disappointment, pressure, depression, anxiety and many more that fill up the pool of negativity and uncontrollably people are diving into it.  The question that traces in is, how many of these individuals actually take a stand for following what they are passionate about, without being suppressed by the babbles going around. The proportion of that is undoubtedly lesser.
The era is all about being the part of the same monetary race subtitled with chaos and confusion. If one is dissatisfied with the settled status of their job, no matter how much reasonable level of security it provides they are just surviving in the marathon. Taking inventory of their interest can be a strategy to serve them with a fulfilling substitute. They need to brainstorm ideas of careers that center around things that they really like. Next in line is the payment.  In a money driven world most people will state that they do their job for the money. They would ideally want to do something different but they believe they have to stay and do more of the same to get that income.What they need to understand that there will never be enough hours in a day to earn enough. Being employed is very much “the more you put in, the more you get out” when in fact you are putting nothing but uninterested efforts. The bedrock should be the intensity towards their passion even if they seem far fetched.  Taking career assessment also helps. Going through psychometric tests in order to attain career success is must. Such tests are designed to give an idea about the aptitudes and kind of jobs that will be satisfying enough for the person. Conducting a self research can be proven appropriate but if someone wants the best perspective on a prospective job they should interview someone who  belongs to the branch and figure out the pros and cons from someone who has experience. They’ll give a better picture of what to expect than any statistic can. Finding out what career will be a rewarding one for them can be daunting but can stream in the satisfaction in life.
Coming to the bottom line of it this isn’t an attempt to make anyone quit what they are doing but merely to open their eyes and shift their expectations to different opportunities linked to what one is impulsed into. Stop living a life into long hours and tight deadlines and initiate a more balanced platform between interest and commitments. Walk out of the rigidity of security structure and false fulfillment and start making a happier tomorrow for yourself.
