aaaahhhh i'm so happy you received so much positive feedback from "Turncoat"!! All the comments prove that you know how to write strong angst perfectly and that it's not a topic done enough for Peter and MJ. Do you think you would ever add a second chapter to it, since it's peaked so many reader's interest?
Oh my god thank you so much! That’s literally so sweet! I was really surprised it was liked by so many people. I honestly didn’t expect people to like something that angsty as much as they did. So i’m so happy you enjoyed it! I have been considering writing a second chapter since i’ve gotten so many requests for it...but I’m still not sure! But if you wanted you could check my spideychelle sideblog @theadorablespderman I post all my spideychelle fics on there. But if you wanna keep checking in on this blog I love hearing from ya either way :) Anyways your amazing and made my day!

Tony Stark
As someone who suffers with anxiety and depression, I have been deeply connected to Tony Stark in many ways. I am truly grateful that there is an infamous fictional character that sheds light on mental illness (depression, anxiety, ptsd) who is also someone who can still kick ass to save the world. He shows a level of humanity and flaw that is unparalleled to any other superhero. He doesn’t have super strength, or mind control, or the ability to fly. He has his mind. His cursed, racing, brilliant mind. The same mind that causes him so much distress is the same mind that helps him to build and think so quickly. He is Iron Man. He built the armor himself, with his own tools and his own ideas. When his suit is not working and he has no idea where he is, he uses his own skills to find clues and to create a plan. He uses hand to hand combat if necessary, and will go into a dangerous situation with no suit if need be. HE is what makes Iron Man a Man of Iron.
Not only does he have illnesses that millions of people struggle with, he also sheds light on the stigmas associated with mental health and society. Where people view him as selfish, cocky, and unreliable, he is actually just the opposite, as proved through his actions. He wants us to believe that he is just as shitty as he THINKS he is, he wants us to have the same hatred towards him as he does himself. They are called defense mechanisms. And if looked at properly, can show just how much Tony struggles mentally. I am proud to support Tony Stark through his mistakes, issues and achievements, because that is EXACTLY what true humanity is. Seeing someone for who they really are versus who they pretend to be. And Tony is a hero.

I was thinking about how my therapist said sometimes triggers are unconventional and that’s okay (like mine are black, ribbed knit hats) and tony and peter at the avengers .., family house or whatever, tony thinking peter is fine after Vulture except suddenly a raven lights in his window and he freaks the fuck out (his name is vulture but we know damn well he looked like a raven or a black hawk) or a glowing green light in the dark and Tony’s like,, I can barely handle my panic attacks how do I—
oh yes, green retro lights would remind him of the Vulture’s piercing green colored goggles or any buildings that have low ceilings or feel very enclosed (because of that collapsed building incident. He’s become more claustrophobic)
Peter’s panic attacks are the opposite of Tony’s. His panic attacks are the very silent and mellow types. Like he’d just zone out and freeze and his breath becomes shallow, turns pale, shivers but not so much that he shakes if that makes sense? And nine times out of ten people don’t see him freaking out
but Tony is that one exception that can tell he’s starting to lose it. Tony can’t handle his own panic attacks but suddenly when his own kid is having one Dad Mode™ activated.

short ficlect because im bored
“Alright everyone, please hand in your permission slips.”
Peter quickly passed his slip up to the front, the teacher checking each for signatures. The teacher looked to Peter. “Mr. Parker, a word?” Flash raised an eyebrow at him as he went to the front, his hands stuffed in the pockets of his hoodie.
“Yes Mrs. Van Dusen?” She flipped the slip over to show Peter the signature.
“I know it may seem funny, but having ‘Tony Stark’ sign your document is no laughing matter. You know this needs to be signed by a real adult. You can’t just forge any signature.” Peter huffed. He knew having Mr. Stark sign it was a bad idea, but he had been running late, Aunt May already at work. Tony was driving him that day and had offered to sign it.
“But Mrs. Van Dusen, that is a real signature. I didn’t fake anything!” Mrs. Van Dusen just raised an unimpressed eyebrow. She shook her head.
“Unless you can give me proof Mr. Parker, I am going to have to say that you can’t go to the Stark Industries tour.” Peter looked up to the ceiling. He let out a grieved sigh. He pulled out his phone and scrolled through his contacts. “What are you doing, Mr. Parker?”
“You wanted proof didn’t you?” The teacher let out an impatient snort.
“Mr. Parker-” Peter held up a finger and hit videocall. Tony showed up on the screen, sitting in his workshop and holding a screwdriver.
“Hey Pete, what’s up? Why are you calling during school?” The classroom went silent, everyone looking to the front of the room. Peter let out a smirk.
“Hey Mr. Stark, sorry to bother you but my teacher doesn’t believe that you signed my permission slip.” Tony laughed, turning to his project.
“Well, I think this is proof enough? I signed it teacher lady.” The teacher nodded. “Alright, bye Pete! And come over when you have the time. I’m working on something that I think you’ll find interesting.” Peter smiled.
“Sure thing Tony.”

I think my favourite thing about books is how they shape us. Your book history is uniquely your own, no one else in the world has read the all the same books at the exact same times of their lives as you have, and all those books have changed you so intrinsically that you couldn’t erase their influence on you anymore then you could change your DNA.

Landslide
[I don’t know how they’re aren’t dead anymore I didn’t think it all the way through
I guess the time stone?? also, I wanna put Strange here so bad but idk how so he’s not]
Spoilers!
________________________________________
Peter always liked the stars.
They were constant, they were there. All the time.
Things in his life went from kinda normal to outright insane, as he and a group of aliens just came back from the dead. And for some reason Peter just kinda accepted it, because at least some things, like the stars, stayed the same.
But he remembered.
It wasn’t just his own death he felt -the long and slow agonizing seconds that befell him as he felt the pain of his body being pulled apart- but everyone who died.
Describing what it felt like was not and option for Peter.
His whole body ached, every step he took was a numb pain you’d get after a limb fell asleep and now you can feel it again, and every time he closed his eyes, the pain and the feeling created images that, although may not have been accurate, still haunted him.
The worst part was; he didn’t feel whole.
Every now and then he had to look down at his fingers to make sure they were intact, to make sure he wouldn’t turn to ash again. He remembered May said once that she sings when she thinks of Ben, and Peter can’t help but do the same.

[Tony unconsciously licked his finger to wipe some dirt off Peter’s face]
Peter: [winces] Mr. Stark? What are you doing?
Tony: Did I just…
Tony: [gasps] Oh, god. I’m my mother. This is horrible.
Tony: And I’ve been trying so hard not to be my father.
Tony: I did not see this coming.
