My Key to Revenge - Chapter 1
Reverend Mother,
You have put me through much pain and suffering, but even then I am grateful. You have given me the means and made me powerful enough to do as I will with the minds of men and my fellow women. Perhaps we will meet again, in a world that is not so war-torn and lost. But, unless that happens, you and I will be sworn enemies, never to meet again in a room amicably and without bloodshed.
-from the letters of the Bene Gesserit Lady Carina Fenring
Hooded figures stood in the shadows, draping, dark cloth adorning their bodies to obscure their appearance and assure secrecy.
“This is the girl?” The old woman peered into the bundle lying in the man’s arms.
“Yes, this is my niece. Freshly born not but two hours ago.”
“You give her up so early?” Another hooded figure whispered into her ear, “Yes, as my sister said, that is quite young.”
The man sneered, “You promised an alliance in exchange for a girl. I have provided one for you, so take her and leave. But, keep your promise.”
“No need to get testy, now. We will uphold our promise. You will be catered to in Bene Gesserit deals.”
“Good.” He shoved the bundle into the old woman’s arms, “Take her and get out of my castle, her mother will be looking for her soon.”
The woman glared at the man at that, but took the young child in hand anyways, “I will turn her into the finest Bene Gesserit. She will know the ways of powerful women.”
He merely waved his hand, “I do not care what becomes of her. She is my niece, born out of wedlock, and to a lowborn no less. Keep her as a servant or student, it matters not to me.”
With one last look at the man, the old woman and her circle of hooded figures turned, “We shall be on our way then.”
When they began walking and were out of earshot, one of the hooded figures caught up, “Reverend Mother, are you sure you want to take this child? She is of mixed blood.”
“There is no mixed blood in this one, girl. That idiot of a count cannot tell his left hand from his right. This one is born of the blood of two Great Houses, just like her cousin.”
“Like the other Fenring? How is the family going to take to two missing children?”
“If they search or not, it does not matter. These children will not know of their heritage, and they will grow up as upstanding noble women of the Bene Gesserit. No one is to speak of this night.”
The circle hushed.
“Yes, Reverend Mother.”
***
“Your thoughts betray you. They are a bridge for your enemy. Do not be enslaved by your thoughts.”
Lady Carina Fenring walked briskly across the sand, feeling it mold to her feet, as she made her way towards the Emperor’s ship.
“Your thoughts betray you. Your thoughts betray you.” She insisted upon the Bene Gesserit mantra under her breath, trying to calm her panic and not let her nerves and temper betray her.
“They are a bridge for your enemy. Do not be enslaved by your thoughts.”
Anxiously wringing her hands, she dreaded the sight that would greet her.
She knew what was behind that door.
She could feel it.
But, she did not want to accept it.
All of the years she spent scheming. All of the years spent planning, gaining the knowledge and assets to enable the plan, and being so close.
So close.
She could taste it, her end-goal was so near to her future. And right before it was within her grasp, it slipped through her fingers, fell, and sifted straight into the sand which tortured her vision and plagued her senses. It flew away into the wind that whipped at her hair and grappled with her clothes.
She had spent years, years chasing that dream, that goal.
All for it to be undone by the split-second decision of her subordinate. Her slave.
For that is what she had reduced him to.
At one point, she may have questioned the morals of her methods, but she was too deep into this, too far into the strategy she had built from the ground up to care.
Of all the people she had thought would thwart her plans, she didn’t think it would be the person she had recruited from the beginning. The one who had been the cornerstone in all of her work. The one who had sworn their loyalty to her more times than she could count on her fingers.
Of all the people, why did it have to be him?
She had a few other individuals on the side to complete the minute details of her plan, so it mattered not if they betrayed her. They could be replaced.
But, this one's lineage was too strong. His name held too much influence for him to be granted a mistake.
However, he had gone and done it anyway.
He had done the unthinkable, and ruined everything.
Feyd-Rautha, you are lucky you are all I have left.
Oh, how she wanted to strangle him, to make him bleed and realize just what it was he had done. He was a traitor, and traitors deserve to suffer.
Perhaps she had put too much effort into molding him into her perfect weapon to consider disposing of him, but his betrayal was making her feel extremely venomous and on the edge of murderous.
Forget the edge. She was plunging off of that cliff, and thinking of numerous ways to make him understand her pain.
She should have seen this coming.
She knew he was loyal, and strove to uphold his honor, no matter how twisted his sense of self and honor was.
Though, showing his loyalty to the emperor was not something she would have thought he would do. Not when he was a Harkonnen, and they had been known to remain loyal only to those within the family for as long as anyone could remember.
Sighing, Lady Carina attempted to reign in her raging emotions and maintain her rationality.
The metal door to where the duel transpired stood tall in front of her, looming ahead like a foreboding shadow.
One of sorrow and crushed dreams.
Very telling indeed.
Not wanting to delay the inevitable any more than she already had, she pushed open the doors and took in the sight that greeted her.
There, in the middle of the room lay Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, in a pool of his own blood.
To the naked eye, one would think he was dead. The blood was beginning to dry, dark on the sand beneath him. His face contorted in a pain-filled expression, his eyes wide-open and unmoving.
Holding her breath, she walked over to the mangled pile of flesh upon the floor.
Kneeling down in the center of the abandoned room, next to the bleeding body, the veiled lady spoke softly, “Na-Baron.”
Only a soft breeze across the sand could be heard, a contrast with its serenity to what had transpired before.
When the body did not speak back, she clicked her tongue in annoyance.
“Na-Baron Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen. Get up.”
At the command of her voice, the body began to twitch. A few minutes went by and it struggled to stand, arms shaking and legs trembling.
“I know you live, Feyd-Rautha. You cannot fool me.”
Slowly, the breath returned to his lungs, his breathing labored. Blood dripped from his mouth, and was caked to his abdomen and head.
He heaved a choking cough, “I would never dream of deceiving you, My Lady.”
“And yet I had to bid you rise to greet me. You did not do so yourself.”
Barely gaining back control of his limbs, the Harkonnen allowed his head to drop in her direction, “You have my sincere apologies, Great Lady.”
Standing up to be on his level, she grabbed his chin and yanked it up, forcing eye-contact between the two of them.
“Why did you do this?”
He only gave her a bloodied smile.
“Why did you almost get killed in place of the Emperor?”
“My honor bound me to do so.”
Pushing his face away, her voice seethed, “You should know that your honor binds you to me, Feyd-Rautha. You have sworn your loyalty to me ten-times over. Your body and mind, as well as your soul, belong to me. How dare you use it in the service of another.”
“You haven’t visited me in so long, My Gracious Lady. I was beginning to wonder if you were ever coming back, so I wanted to gain your attention.”
“Attention?” She snapped, “You dare, dog?”
Seemingly undeterred by her ire, he collected himself a bit more, and wiped some of the blood off of his face, smiling, “Even a dog needs attention every once in a while. If left alone, they may get rowdy. Isn’t that right, my master?”
Rage swept through her mind and took over like a hard desert wind, grating at her nerves and eating away at what little calm she could conjure.
Glaring at his pale face, she clenched her hands, “You seem to have your wits about you now.” “You bid me to rise and be alive, My Lady. What else was I to do?”
Having enough of his backtalk and banter she thought she had grown accustomed to over the years, she ground her words out through clenched teeth, “Kneel and repent.”
“Gladly.” He sunk heavily onto his knees, a harsh sound in the otherwise quiet room.
“What do you will of me, master?”
She scoffed at his brazenness, “You should be asking how I will punish you. You have sinned against me greatly, and in a way you cannot atone for.”
“What is it that I have done to offend you, My Lady?”
“‘What have you done?’” She repeated his word back to him in disbelief, “You have gone and gotten yourself killed in the eyes of the empire, and in turn have killed off your bloodline. Your uncle the Baron and your brother are dead. Your Uncle refused to have any children of his own, leaving the Barrony to be left under your control should he die. And he did. You were the Baron for under an hour, and you had to go and get yourself killed. You cannot be seen by anyone in the empire anymore.”
She watched as he licked the dried blood off of his lips, savoring the taste of it, “You are no longer useful to me. I should kill you right here;finish the job.”
“You know I would find no greater pleasure than that, My Great Master.”
“Yes, I’ve been made well aware, you masochistic dog-brained fool.”
Reaching out, he grabbed the edges of her robe and brought the material up to his cheek, stroking it against the skin gently, “But, I believe I still have use to you yet.”
And this is how he gets me, every time.
His tenderness in these moments was what always broke her down. That she could bring this on in such a brutal man as this made her drunk on the power he placed in her hands. Carina knew he was aware of what he was doing, but played into his ruses every time.
With a softness she did not think she could feel in this situation, she replied, “And what could you possibly be useful for?”
He went further and grabbed her hand, pressing his face against it and holding it there, “Now that I am dead, I can become wholly yours. We would never have to part again. We could be together, always.”
She spoke as a reminder, for both herself and him.
“I did not enter into a contract with you for companionship, Feyd-Rautha.”
He nuzzled her hand, “Oh, but I crave it, Master. I would give myself to you freely.”
Bringing herself back to sense and reality, she retracted her hand, and she shook him off, “Go retrieve your pets if you would like bodily pleasures. I will not indulge you in such things.”
“My pets?” He blinked, as his eyes cleared a bit, “Oh, yes. My pets. I should go get them. Do you think they survived?”
“Who knows? Your pets are probably an afterthought to everyone but you, you disgusting swine. I did not think you would enjoy them as much as you have when I gave them to you.”
“I cherish them because you gave them to me, Master. Although, they do offer great entertainment.”
“Yes, I’m aware of your peculiar fantasies and interests. I pity the ones who must endure the receiving end of it.”
“Oh don’t be that way, My Lady.” Black teeth flashed her way, “You have always indulged me.”
She pushed her face towards his, “Do not think you will get another ounce of mercy from me. You have betrayed me. You are a traitor.”
Something flitted through his eyes. It could have been guilt, but it disappeared as quickly as it had come, “You have my apologies.”
Sighing, she looked him up and down before turning away, “Rest assured I will bring you great suffering later. But for now, follow me. We must get going before someone sees you.”
He again struggled to his feet and trudged after her, still attempting to gain back full use of his limbs.
“May I bring my pets with us?”
Her shoes clicked along the floor, a stark difference to the eerie, quiet stillness which hung over the decimated Emperor’s ship, “You do not deserve such privileges. I gave them to you because I deemed you worthy of a reward, and you have broken that great faith I had in you. You deserve my gift no more.”
“If we leave them here, they will die.”
“Since when did you care about such things?” She sneered at him, “Those creatures will die, yes. Like the animals they are. You should be worshiping me for not exacting the same fate upon you.”
“Master, you know I welcome all of your attention: violent or loving.”
Oh, the brazenness of this man.
“I have never been loving towards you.”
Coughing, he wheezed out a chuckle, “As you say.”
Nearing a small alcove out of the way, a small ship came into view.
“Did you pilot yourself here, My Lady?” More blood oozed out of his wounds due to his movement.
“Of course I did. If I am to go unnoticed, I cannot arrive on a big, shiny vessel, now can I?”
He frowned and didn’t say another word as they embarked upon the vehicle in question.
Sighing, she asked him a question, since she could see something swirling in his gaze.
“What’s the problem?”
“Seeing you without an escort is displeasing.”
That took her by surprise, “I go around by myself all the time.”
Crossing his arms, he sunk into his seat with a pained grimace, “An esteemed lady who has amassed such a following such as yourself should not be unguarded. It is unsafe.”
“Do you think I cannot take care of myself, My Lord Na-Baron?”
He shot her a sheepish smile, “I meant no disrespect, Master.”
Merely shaking her head, she revved up the engine and pulled the ship up into the air, before speeding away in an attempt to not be seen.
Coming here had not been easy. So many Bene Gesserit Reverend Mothers were gathered in such a small area, Carina was sure she would have been sensed by one of them.
After all those years of not seeing any of them, she kind of hoped one of them would.
But, fate dictated that could never be the case, not as long as she followed her vow to exact revenge upon them.
They had stolen her from both her birth-mother and home, and painfully trained her up from a young age to be an ideal Bene Gesserit Lady. One who possessed no fear of pain or misery, and one who sought the betterment of the organization over her sense of self or respect.
No amount of temporary loneliness could erase what they had done to her, what they had put her through in an attempt to construct the Lisan al Gaib.
Waving her hand, she willed those foolish thoughts of longing to abandon the roots in her head.
They could be there no more if she was to complete what she started.
Only when the safe-hold she had created after years of toil and secrecy came into view could her thoughts shift to something else.
Focusing on what had already happened and the rift in her plans Feyd’s misstep had brought would do her nothing.
She would have to focus on all that she had built, and how she could use it to move ahead and make sure her ambitions could become reality.
When the ship finally touched the ground, she shifted it into the correct gear and quickly disembarked, not waiting to see if the Harkonnen was following.
“Lady Carina.” A tall, proper looking handsome man made his way over to the Bene Gesserit Lady.
She leveled a look at him, “Owain.”
Bowing his head towards her, he placed his hand on his chest, “I hope your journey went smoothly.”
“As well as it could, given the circumstances.” Scoffing, she stomped past him, “I’ve brought a present.”
Said present made his presence known by calling after her, “Master! Where are you going?”
“Somewhere alone! And go make yourself useful somewhere else, I do not wish to look at you anymore.”
Not checking to make sure he did what she asked, she kept walking towards her quarters, wishing to be alone to contemplate what she should do next.
Bursting through the entrance, she slammed the slab of wood behind her and seated herself on a cushioned chair by the already-lit fire in the hearth.
The crackling of the flames soon calmed her enough to lean back and try to relax.
However, once again, her wishes were ignored when she heard a soft knock upon the door of her abode.
“Lady Carina.”
I was Owain again.
Knowing that what had transpired was not his fault, she breathed and recited a few calming mantras under her breath before she replied.
“You may come in.”
He pushed the door open carefully, obviously expecting to see her still raging away inside the room.
When she just stared at him, he closed the door behind himself and stood facing her, his hands folded behind him in that polite, ever formal way of his.
Silence once again overtook the room, the movement of students outside or the occasional clanking of metal the only thing that could be heard.
“Did you need something, Owain?”
He spoke quietly, as he often did when he knew she was angry, “I wanted to make sure you were alright, Lady Carina.”
When she just stared at him, he pushed again.
“What happened? Why is that man here?”
She knew exactly who he was talking about, she could see his opinions about him written all over his face.
Sighing, she acquiesced as she learned back further in her chair and crossed her arms, “Feyd may have created a rather…large problem.”
His eyes darkened, “What did he do?”
Taking a second to maintain her decorum, she ground out her words through clenched teeth, “You know that meeting between the Atreides boy and the emperor I was telling you about?”
He nodded.
“They ended up dueling. Which would have been fine if the circumstances were regular, it would have not caused any problems. But, Feyd volunteered to be his champion and was defeated by Atreides. They think he is dead. The emperor has given the throne to that Atreides boy, and now Feyd can no longer show his face anywhere. If he had just stayed silent, he could have continued being the Baron. Given, it would have been under Atreides rule, but he could still have had access to Harkonnen funds and resources. Now, he is a destitute man with no connections and nothing of value to speak of.”
Her words hung heavy in the air.
Owain’s eyes darkened, “...then he is no longer useful to you now, is he?”
Raising her hand, she held it up in front of her, “I know your opinions on him, Owain. But, we will not have this conversation right now.”
“Lady Carina, if he no longer has any resources or anything useful, then he is worthless. He is no better than a bloodthirsty, war hungry foot-soldier.”
She slammed her hand down on the armrest of her chair, “I said we would not discuss this right now, Owain. Did you not hear my words?”
That vengeful look in his eye was replaced by one of slight panic, “Ah, I apologize, Lady Carina. I did not mean to cross you.”
“You didn’t mean to, but you did.”
She was just so tired. She was tired of everyone doing what they think is best instead of listening to what she had to say. This was her plan. They were all gathered here to do her work.
Covering her face with her hands, she said weakly, “Just leave. And do not let anyone else in, I wish to be alone for the rest of the evening.”
She could sense his hesitation, but after a few moments, he moved, “As you wish, Lady Carina. I shall see you tomorrow.”
Then, she heard his steps out and the soft latching of the door.

An Aladnan Romance - Chapter 3
Chapter 2
Once she was released from the confines of the numerous layers and draping jewels, Sol sent Anya to fetch Prince Yan from his quarters.
Pacing along the window at the back wall, she nervously wrung her hands.
So, I summoned him. What do I do now? What are we to talk about? What if he grows bored or annoyed and just leaves? What am I to do then?
Her thoughts being interrupted by a soft knocking at the door, she whipped around as Anya and Prince Yan entered.
“My Lady,” she kept approaching while the prince stayed by the door, “I have brought Prince Yan, as you requested. Is there anything else you would require?”
Taking the hand outstretched to her, she softly patted the back of it, partly to comfort herself and reassure the other person, “I don’t need anything else. Thank you, Anya.”
“Then, may I leave, My Lady?”
“Yes, you can retire for the evening.”
“As you wish.” She dropped into a swift curtsey before spinning around, nodding to the Prince on the way out.
Once they were left alone, a silence fell over the couple, coating the room in an awkward sheen of stilted quietness.
“Please,” Lady Sol attempted to smooth over the atmosphere, “Have a seat.”
Nodding stiffly, he moved to the chair he was directed to and sat down, but quickly jumped back up when he saw her moving to a wine bottle and glasses placed upon a side-table.
“Oh-” She looked up at him in surprise, “Please sit down, Your Highness. Would you like a drink?”
Reaching out his arm, he moved to grab the bottle out of her hand, “Allow me, My Lady.”
Narrowing her eyes at him, her voice took on a sharper note, “Sit down, Prince Yan.”
The prince obeyed, although his face scrunched in a strained expression of frustration.
“That is my duty, My Lady.”
“To pour me a drink? I don’t think so.”
“You know that is not what I mean.” He took the half-filled glass from her outstretched hand, “I must serve you, since you are my matriarch and I am your husband.” After a long look and a sip from her glass, she murmured, “You and I both know you are not fond of this match, Your Highness. You needn’t force yourself.”
“I must.”
“No, you do not.”
That seemed to snap something in him, and his voice rose a bit higher than before, “I don’t have a choice in the matter, matriarch. It has been decreed by my mother and those above me, and I have no choice but to act accordingly.”
“I don’t have a choice in the matter either.” The words fell out of her mouth before she could think them through.
That made him pause for a second before the fire reignited in his eyes.
“Oh, but I’m sure you’re enjoying this a lot more than I am. You have married into the royal family, elevating both you and your family’s status. You get to live in the palace and enjoy the wealth. And you get to order me around merely because you are a WOMAN, and we are MARRIED!”
That was a line she did not think he would cross, and she was enraged he had done so.
Seething intensely, her rational thoughts became all jumbled and all she could see was red.
Leaning forward, she slammed her hand down on the coffee table and ground her words through her teeth, “Get. Out.”
Putting his wine glass down on the table none too carefully, he stared into her eyes and returned his own glare, “Gladly.”
Prince Yan turned and stalked out of the room, slamming the door behind him, causing the paintings on the wall to shake.
Letting her head fall into her hands, Lady Sol breathed deeply, trying to calm down her breathing and regain her thoughts. She couldn’t believe she had let it escalate to that degree. She had just tried to have a conversation with him, to grow closer to him. But, she had ruined it so royally that he stomped out, on her command no less.
What a wife I’m turning out to be.
Not really having many other options, she dragged herself up from her chair and sunk into bed, though the night was a restless one.
***
“Lady Sol.” Someone’s voice gently pulled her from her dreams, “Lady Sol, please wake up.”
The pulling grew more urgent, “Lady Sol!”
Her eyes snapping open, the newly-wed princess gasped and turned to look at the intrusion.
Anya stood in the intrusion’s place.
Sighing, she rubbed her face, trying to force some of the blurriness out of her eyes, “What time is it, Anya?”
It felt like she had barely gotten any sleep.
The chambermaid wrung her hands, “It’s quite early, and I apologize for that deeply, My Lady. But the Empress Dowager has invited you to breakfast.”
Flashes to last night flitted through her mind, and she groaned.
Please say it’s not about Prince Yan.
“Did she say what this invitation was about?”
“I’m sorry, My Lady. But, all I heard was that she would like to dine with you. If there is any predetermined conversation topic, I do not know of it.”
“No, no. That’s not your fault.” Forcing herself to move, she swung her legs over the side of the bed and got up, “I suppose I should get ready then.”
“Of course, My Lady. Right away.”
Anya waved in a few other maids and set to work dressing and straightening Sol’s appearance and making it acceptable to present it before the Empress Dowager.
Once she was ready and all done up, she quickly made her way to the Empress Dowager’s sitting room, where the meal had been planned.
Sol pulled at her dress, feeling far too stressed to feel comfortable in these incumbent clothes.
Stepping up to match her stride, Anya spoke up, “My Lady, you are aware of the etiquette, correct? You have no questions?”
“Oh, no. I’ll be alright, Anya.” She tried to steady her voice, “I’m quite sure I had to display more manners and etiquette for my matriarch than the average person. It can’t be too different.”
She was trying to reassure herself as well.
“Yes, My Lady. I’m sure you’ll do just fine. She personally chose you to be Queen after all.”
Sol grumbled, “That also means she can take me out just as easily.”
“Don’t be silly, My Lady. Your family is much too powerful for her to flippantly dismiss you like that.”
You don’t need to remind me of just how far my family’s power reaches.
Lady Sol came to a stop in front of the tall doors, looking up at the daunting display of wealth and influence.
“You’ll be fine, My Lady.”
Anya didn’t even give her a moment to doubt herself before she gave a quick knock, opened the door, and ushered the new matriarch into the room.
The sight that greeted her was no less intimidating.
The Empress Dowager sat at a small tea table at the other side of the room, but she was surrounded by enough servants and flowers, and wearing enough jewels and fine fabric to scream class and prestige.
Steadying her breath, Sol steeled herself before softly making her way over to the Empress Dowager’s side, falling to a knee before her.
“May I find you in good health, Mother Matriarch.”
“Thank you, my dear.” Her voice was gentle despite how commanding Sol knew it could be. “You may rise and sit.”
Nodding at her, Lady Sol stood up and lowered herself onto the chair across from her mother-in-law.
The Empress Dowager broke the silence as Sol was brewing over what to say, “How have you been settling in, My Queen? I hope my son has been treating you well.”
Her thoughts flashed back to memories of last night, “He’s been lovely, My Lady.”
She took a sip of her tea, “I heard you summoned him to your quarters last night. How did that go?”
“Everything was fine.”
“Oh, do not lie to me, dear. I know he left your room in a fury.”
Feeling rather cornered and caught, she lowered her head, “My apologies, Mother Matriarch.”
Silence blanked the room, and Sol could only hear the clanking of silverware as she stared down at her lap.
“I never told you why I chose you to be Queen, did I?”
“You have not, My Lady.”
“Let us remedy that.” Taking a fan from the outstretched hands of a servant, she began to fan herself gently, “To put it simply, I chose you because of who you are related to.”
Sol knew that was the case, but it still hurt all the same.
“You are a part of a powerful family, Lady Sol. And that was just too tempting to pass up. Our families, bound together through marriage, could bring Aladna to new heights in the cosmos. It could put us on the map in a greater scale than ever before.” She paused to take a breath, clearly excited about the prospective wealth and prosperity of the planet, “That being said, I don’t expect much from you.”
It felt like cold water had been dumped on Sol’s head.
“You are merely required to marry my son and maintain the bond between families. Let your mother and I take care of everything else, and bring these plans to fruition, and it all will run smoothly.”
Her voice was quiet, and came out as barely a whisper, “Is that truly all you needed me for, Empress Dowager?”
“Yes, Lady Sol. That is truly all you need to do. Make sure your marriage to my son remains civil and all will be well.”
And my family gets their way again.
“Oh, not to say I do not want you and Yan to have a good and loving marriage. I would be delighted if you both came to love each other in a genuine way. He is my son after all, just as you are now my daughter. But, for the sake of our plans, it does not need to turn out that way.”
When Sol could not come up with anything to say, the Dowager clinked her glass delicately with a spoon, “Now that that conversation is out of the way, let’s eat now, shall we?”
***
Once she heard the echoing closing of the sitting room’s doors, Lady Sol sank and leaned heavily against a hallway wall, sighing deeply.
Anya’s steps hurried over, “My Lady! Are you all right?”
Taking a few deep breaths, she waved towards her worried maid, “I’m all right. Meeting one’s mother-in-law in a formal setting for the first time is just stressful, you know.”
“Oh, do I ever, My Lady.” Her voice dropped into a whisper, “My Mother Matriarch is quite a scary person herself.”
Her mouth curling up in a smile, she shakily laughed, “We just might be allies in this, I guess.”
“Aren’t all women though, My Lady? We all have to deal with it eventually if we would like to get married.” She reached for Lady Sol and helped her gain her balance, “If you need a moment to relax, why don’t you take a stroll outside? It’s beautiful out there today, and the flowers should be in full bloom around this time of year.”
Lady Sol patted the hand that was perched on her arm, “That sounds lovely, Anya. Would you care to join me?”
“I would be honored, My Lady.”
In slightly higher spirits, the two ladies made their way outside and into the luscious gardens that lined the castle wall outside of the Empress Dowager’s palace.
After walking around a bit, Lady Sol grew curious, “Is this the only garden on the grounds?”
“Of course not, My Lady. There is one by the Queen’s quarters as well, but you can get to it from here, so I thought I would take you on the scenic route.”
Nodding in affirmation, Lady Sol once again let her focus drift to the foliage and tried not to think about what had happened earlier and the new information she was given.
It was hard not to though.
She was just so tired of all this drama and rivalry between powerful families. Her family was already feared and seen as different by the other houses. Now that she was married to the only child of the royal family, that reputation would only increase and grow day-by-day.
She should be used to this by now. Her family had always been this way. She knew she was going to marry some man from some rich family. She would be a Matriarch, most likely in name only, with her and her husband as the victims of the whole transaction.
She always knew she would be powerless to stop it.
But, it still hurt.
More than anything, it hurt her to know that she was simply a means to an end. A way for her family to climb in the ranks of society. A stepping stone for their greater plans.
Now the Empress Dowager saw her like that as well. It seemed no matter where she went, she would only be a stage artist, expected to sit there prettily and say the lines she was given.
Her husband wasn’t really helping the situation at all either. He seemed to think she was nothing but a willing participant, instead of a mere doll pulled along by its strings, barely hanging on by a thread.
They say: Speak of the devil and he shall appear.
Sol was beginning to believe in that saying more and more, because right as she was dreading the next moment she had to spend with him, the man in question rounded the corner, and walked straight toward her with his entourage of male attendants.
He must have not noticed her right away, because he seemed happy, grinning and laughing with his companions, before he met her eyes and all of that jubilation melted right off of his face.
Oh, Mother Goddess help me.
The couple stopped once they met each other along the path, each greeting in their respective ways.
Sinking to one knee, Prince Yan took the hand of Lady Sol, placing a chaste kiss upon the back of it, while she patted his shoulder, signaling the welcome.
As he was standing up, Sol desperately tried to strike up a conversation, hoping to slightly rectify what had transpired the night before, “How are you today, Yan?”
“I’m doing just fine, Matriarch.”
Sol blinked, stung by the title, “Listen, Yan. I’m sorry about last night, I really didn’t mean to let it escalate that far--”
The prince cut her off with the raising of his hand, “There’s no need to revisit that conversation, Matriarch. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I must go see the Empress Dowager. She has summoned me.”
And with that, he spun on his heel and continued on his way.
When Sol continued to stand there, frozen in shock, Anya once again joined the Lady at her side, “Are you alright, My Lady?”
Only able to mutely nod, she let Anya lead her back to her quarters and onto one of the plush chairs along the wall.
Banishing the other servants out of the room, Anya knelt by the Lady’s side and tapped her leg.
“My Lady, what is bothering you so?”
She tried to arrange her thoughts quickly to come up with something else, an excuse, but one look at her maid’s face made all of those thoughts crumble.
Barely able to look up at her, Sol stared down at her lap and mumbled, “I don’t really feel like I have the right to complain about it.”
“Oh, rubbish, My Lady. You are the Queen of Aladna. If anything, you have more right than most to complain about things. You have the power and many people to fix your problems for you.”
“That’s exactly why I feel as if I don’t have the right, Anya. I am in the most coveted position in the empire, and I want to complain about my marriage.”
“Ahhh, there it is.” Anya looked at her with a knowing smile, “It’s Prince Yan who’s causing you so much stress, isn’t it?”
Knowing there was no denying it, Sol merely nodded.
“Just give it time, My Lady. He will come around.”
“But, how do you know that?” She turned towards the kneeling woman, “How do you know that things will get better between us, Anya?”
“Marriages all have a way of mending themselves, one way or another, just give them time.”
“We both know that’s not true.”
“I never said that the couples always got along or saw eye-to-eye. They merely created a routine to cope, or a way to avoid each other when necessary. Marriage works differently for everyone, and you shouldn’t expect yours to be picture-perfect either.”
Lady Sol shook her head and turned away, “I don’t know if what you are saying is helping me feel better at the moment.”
Standing up, Anya smiled, “You might not like what I am saying now, but you will come to believe what I say in time. Your marriage to Prince Yan may turn into a loving one. Or, you may just follow the path of many other noble couples, and learn to coexist separately.”
Closing the door behind her, Anya left Lady Sol with more thoughts than answers, and a slight sick feeling in her stomach.
She couldn’t quite help but dread the days ahead, where she would have to deal with that painful transition she was talking about, in isolation.

An Aladnan Romance - Chapter 2
Chapter 1|Chapter 3
The settling of the door’s handle reverberated through the chamber, enunciating the vastness of the metal-laden room.
Sighing, she took a deep breath before looking around some more.
So, this is where I will be staying from now on.
Sitting down in a plush chair (which was way more comfortable than it actually looked), she let her head fall into her hands.
I can’t believe I got myself roped up in this. Not only do I have to put up with my family’s drama and greed, but the royal family’s as well.
You see, she didn’t have much of a choice in the matter either.
Her family was of nobility in Aladna, and a very ambitious one at that.
For being a matriarchal society, she did not get much of a say in anything, much less her future or her spouse. Her every move was planned out and decided by her mother;articulated to perfection. It didn’t seem like Prince Yan’s situation was much different, but it still didn’t feel very good all the same.
Trying to shake herself out of this headspace, she let out a quick breath before abruptly standing up. Moving to the closet, she discovered her clothes were already organized and placed in there for her.
“Geez, they even color-coded it…”
Choosing sleep clothes, she changed into the silken material, moving to the nightstand to pull out the simple updo her hair was in and remove her makeup.
After going through a couple more steps in her nightly routine, she patted her face dry on an embroidered hand towel (one that felt more decorative than practical) and climbed into bed, the copious amount of blankets nearly drowning her.
Reaching to turn off the light, the lady relaxed into the mattress and the world sunk into darkness.
The chirping of the birds was what woke her up, along with the whale-song and wind.
Blinking awake, Lady Sol looked over at the time, discovering it was quite late in the morning.
Waking up in the unfamiliar room just reminded her of what was to follow that day.
There’s so much to do. I’m not even sure where to begin, or who I am to ask for help. I know no one here, save Price Yan and the Empress Dowager, and I’m not sure either would be inclined to assist.
Resigned to figure it out one way or another, she shoved the blankets off and swung her legs over the side of the bed.
Knock knock
Startling, she looked up in shock as a rap sounded on the door, and a young woman let herself into the room.
Wearing a bright smile on her face, the woman introduced herself, “Greetings, Your Majesty. My name is Arya, I work as a maid here in the palace.”
Barely managing a nod, the newly-crowned princess sputtered out, “G-Greetings.”
Paying the misstep no mind, Arya set a tray down on a table and pulled a brush out of a bowl on top of it.
Nonverbally agreeing with a nod of her head, Lady Sol sat down in front of the vanity, letting Anya take her hair in hand and brush through it.
Apparently not one to allow the room to grow quiet, she spoke up, “I saw you with the prince yesterday, Your Majesty.”
“Oh, really?”
I don’t remember seeing this woman yesterday. I feel like I would have remembered someone so full of energy.
“Why yes, My Lady. When he was escorting you.”
“Ah.”
Not minding the short answer, she cheerily continued on, “You probably did not notice me, I was just carrying some linens down to the laundry. The stack was so tall, I could hardly see where I was going!”
Running a brush through the last tangle, Arya smoothed over it with her hand, “Speaking of, Your Majesty. If I may be so bold?”
Lady Sol nodded.
“I couldn’t help but notice that your hair was quite plain, Your Majesty.”
Hands flying to her hair, a blush grew across her cheeks, “I’ve been offworld. I can’t exactly go around with traditional Aladnan hair all the time, it’s too conspicuous.”
“Come now, don’t be coy. You can just admit you have no knowledge of hair-crafting.”
Lady Sol looked up at her face in shock and noticed a mischievous smile making its way onto her face.
Ah, she’s trying to help me become more at ease.
With a smile of her own, she spoke, “You know, you might be right. I never was very good at sculpting my hair, much to my mother’s dismay of course.” Feeling more at liberty to speak, she let a lock of her hair flow through her fingers, “I haven’t really been able to do the proper care treatments either. Mind helping me?”
“I thought you’d never ask!” Quickly gathering her hair in her hands, Anya took the brush to it with a thorough but gentle hand, “I would be delighted to assist.”
With the help of Arya and a few other maids who came and went, Lady Sol was soon done up in traditional Aladnan wedding attire, topped off with an elaborate headdress and colorful adornments wherever they could fit.
Fluffing one of the lady’s sleeves to make sure it was sitting correctly, Arya took a step back and admired her work.
“Your Majesty, you look beautiful!”
“Thank you. You really think so?” She lightly touched her face, admiring the way the jewelry shimmered in the light.
“Of course I do, Your Majesty. Who do you take me for?” She waved over one of her coworkers, “Doesn’t she look lovely?”
When the others agreed with her as well, she clapped her hands together in glee, bringing a smile to Sol’s face.
“And I’m sure Prince Yan will think so as well! I can just see the look he’ll give you now, with how beautiful you look now and such.”
Sobering, Lady Sol let her hands drop onto her lap, her happy look fading.
Just who am I doing all this for?
In the midst of her dark thoughts, she hadn’t noticed that Arya had waved the other maids out of the room.
“What has got you in that mood, My Lady?”
“What are you talking about?”
She gestured to my reflection, “The moment I mentioned the prince, your joy just about melted right off of your face.”
“It’s nothing, Arya. I’m fine.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.”
“Do you swear it?”
Finding a bit of humor in this banter, she huffed, “Yes, I swear it.” “Good. That’s what we like to hear! We musn’t let ourselves be down on our wedding day!” A porter rushed into the room, whispering into her ear, “And I think we finished right on time: the preparations are ready, and so are the guests. Will you allow me to lead you, My Lady?”
“Yes, thank you.”
Taking a hold of the lady’s hand, Arya escorted her to the door, which opened at the sound of her approach, revealing her mother on the other side.
“Mother.” Lady Sol dropped her knee into a bow.
“You may rise, my child.”
Once she straightened, she let out a nervous laugh, “You startled me, Mother. I wasn’t expecting you to be there.”
“Hmph.” Her mother leveled a look at her, “Yes, you’ve made me wait. Just how long does it take you to dress? It’s not as if you are the groom.”
“Forgive me, Matriarch.”
She turned on her heel, in the intended direction they were going to walk, “Hurry along now. I want to see you good and married as soon as possible.”
“Yes, Mother.” Lady Sol let go of Anya’s support and made her way over to the matriarch, connecting their hands, “Shall we go?”
When her mother gave a curt nod, Sol turned to another footman, “Would you mind leading us to where the ceremony will be held?”
The servant acquiesced and they started on their way.
“You do not know the way?”
She sighed quietly, trying not to be heard, “Mother, please. I just arrived here last night.”
“Therefore, it isn’t your first time.”
It is my first time down this hall.
She chose not to voice that thought out loud.
Not long after, they neared the gilded entrance to the ballroom, and in they were whisked.
All at once, the noises of all the people milling about, as well as the instruments, bombarded her senses to an almost uncomfortable degree.
Just as soon as she almost grew comfortable, muscular arms were thrown around her neck in a friendly hug, “My daughter!”
“Father.” She choked, and once he let go, she caught her breath, “We saw each other yesterday.”
“Yes, and look how much you’ve grown since then.” He let go and stepped back, taking in a once-over of her attire, “You look lovely, my dear.”
“I thank you, Father.”
“Yes, of course. Now, have you seen your groom? He looks rather dashing in his formal wear.”
As if on cue, horns blared in symphony and the attention in the room was siphoned to the prince, who was sitting up on the pedestal, flanked by the Empress Dowager.
Once he held the gaze of the room, his voice carried across so all could hear, “My princess, I welcome you to my home, as it is to be yours.” Holding out his hand in her direction, he continued, “Please join me at my side and on your throne, my matriarch.”
At the beck of his gaze, she made her way up the stairs and to the landing, where he stepped aside and made room for her close to him.
“My people, this is my newly-wedded wife, whom I will respect and love as my ruler. Please treat her with the same adoration and respect you have shown me.”
At that, the crowd erupted in cheers, and the festivities began.
On a more private note, Prince Yan turned towards Lady Sol, taking her hand in his.
“Please accept my greetings, My Lady.” Bending at the waist, he placed a gentle kiss on her wrist before straightening once more.
“Thank you..” Hesitating, she forced out, “..Yan.”
Giving a strained smile in return, he let go and turned back towards the crowd, “Please go enjoy your time with your parents, My Lady. I’m sure you will not have as many chances to see them after today.”
Not wanting the interaction to be cut shorter than it already was, she attempted to keep his attention, “Will you come see me later tonight?”
Side-eyeing her, he forced out, “I will do as my matriarch bids me.”
Sensing he wanted her gone, she settled for what she could get, “Very well, I’ll see you later then?”
“As you wish, My Lady. I will come to your chambers once you summon me tonight.”

An Aladnan Romance - Chapter 1
Chapter 2
“You will marry an Aladnan woman!” The Empress Dowager’s sharp tone could be heard down the hall.
“Mother, please-“
“Enough!” Crickets chirped if one listened close enough.
“I will hear no more. From this moment onward you are divorced from that outworlder and you will marry an Aladnan woman of my choice.”
“Mother, I beg you, just listen-“
“If you are to rule Aladna, you must have a woman to help lead you. That had been the way of our people for millennia. That outworlder cannot fulfill this duty if she only comes back once every other year for five minutes merely to ask you for funds or whatever else. You will marry a woman of my choosing, or you can say goodbye to that throne.”
Prince Yan’s voice grew smaller, “But-“
“Do I make myself clear?”
A few moments passed, “Yes, Mother.”
“Good.” Shuffling could be heard from within the room, “Good, now you will meet her.”
“Mother, please. So soon?”
“Yes, you will. Come in please, Lady.”
Taking that as her cue, the lady waiting out in the hall knocked twice before entering into the royal sitting room, where the two remaining royals were standing facing each other.
“Ah, there you are, My Lady.” The Empress Dowager waved her over, “Prince Yan, this is the woman you shall marry.”
The man in question offered her a strained smile.
“Well, greet her. She is to be your wife.”
The underlying implications were apparent to both the young man and woman, and the prince begrudgingly took a gentle hold of the lady’s hand, placing a chaste kiss upon the top of it.
“It is nice to make your acquaintance, My Lady.”
“Likewise, Your Highness.”
The Empress Dowager placed her hands on the top and bottom of their clasped hands, sealing them together, “With the power invested in me as the matriarch of this family, I pronounce you honorarily married.”
Both the prince and lady gave her a surprised look.
“Yes, I know. It’s all moving a bit faster than normal, but I didn’t want you to run away in the middle of the night.” She aimed that last comment at the prince, “You will have the official ceremony tomorrow, but since you are married, you may move into the matriarch’s quarters, My Lady. I’m sure Prince Yan would be happy to show you to them.”
And with that she whisked herself away, out from the room.
When she was out of sight, Prince Yan gently extracted his hands from the lady’s. Rubbing his hands on his trousers awkwardly, he sighed, “Would you like to go to your quarters, My Lady?”
She looked equally as unsure of what to do, “That would be lovely, Your Highness. Thank you.”
“Oh, please.” He waved a hand at her, “You need not refer to me with that title. You are my…wife, after all.”
“How should I refer to you then?”
“Just call me ‘Yan’, My Lady.”
“You may refer to me by name as well.”
“I wouldn’t dare, My Lady. You are my matriarch, by royal decree.”
Looking him in the eyes, she could tell it was entirely too soon to push this, so she acquiesced, “Very well, Yan. Please lead the way.”
Letting her take a gentle hold of his arm, the prince led her through the hall and into the grandest room.
The room meant to house the matriarch.
It was a well furnished room, with gold and silver upon everything. Lavishness seeped through Aladnan culture, as water seeps through all that it touches.
“My mother seems to have prepared for your arrival.”
Pulling away, Prince Yan moved to turn up a lamp sitting on a nearby table, illuminating the room in a warm glow.
“She has added many new treasures to this place,” Turning a piece of metalwork over in his hand, he let the light glint off of it, “Some of which I have never seen.”
“Does it…bother you?”
“I don’t really have a say in this, do I?”
“Well,”
She didn’t have much of a say in this either, but he didn’t seem in a good mood to listen to anything of the sort anytime soon.
Heaving a quick sigh, he set down the object he had in his hand and placed them behind his back, “Well, I should get going. You probably want to settle in and get ready for the ceremony tomorrow.”
“Oh, of course. I should do that.”
“I’ll leave you to it.” Taking a few steps back, he turned around and exited, softly closing the door behind him.

Bang Chan 방찬
Channie would really flourish with a doting older sister.
He just works so hard all the time, he really just needs someone that he trusts, is comfortable with, and looks up to to tell him he’s doing a good job.
It kind of fed his work ethic at first; he just wanted to hear your praise.
Eventually he turned into a self-motivated individual, and your compliments were a positive side-effect.
However, he never failed to call you, telling you all about what he did that day, what he accomplished, and what he hopes to do.
You are so proud of him and the man he has turned into, what else can you do but adore him?
Minho 이민호
This brat would take advantage of your disposition (and I say brat in the most affectionate way possible).
It’s not like he would do anything bad, he would just know he would always get his way when he was around you.
Nothing he could do would ever make you disappointed in him.
Maybe if he started slacking off at work, or just in life in general.
But, we all know he would never do that, so what is there to be sad over?
He always does a good job, so you have nothing but love for the man, even if he has you wrapped around his finger.
Changbin 서창빈
Changbin would just melt under your affection and care.
He really is a softie under all that muscle, and he just wants someone to notice and reciprocate the love he gives everyone else.
He wouldn’t really take advantage of it, he would just ask for it all the time.
Whenever you two are together, you are joined at the hip.
It always seems like his arms are around you while you’re either pinching his cheek, patting him on the head, or just giving him a hug back.
Sure there might be a height difference (either way), but you two would make it work.
You just adored your little brother, and you wanted him to know it.
Hyunjin 황현진
Hyunjinnie would be another one that might take advantage of your love a little bit.
However, out of everyone, you two would be the most ‘normal’ together.
You would give him affection, he would pretend like he hated it, while he actually loved it. Sounds like your everyday sibling pair, doesn’t it?
Sure, he would appreciate all the love and support you gave him, but he hated showing it.
You just have to make sure to look through the cracks of his facade and you can see the love that he is reciprocating there.
Jisung 한지성
Jisung is another one who would just bask in your praise.
Please let him know often that you love him, that’s really all he wants to hear.
Push all of your love his way, and he will just swim in it.
You two are the most cringey siblings ever, but you would let no one say anything bad about the other.
No matter what, you just wanted the other to know that they were loved and cared for.
Felix 이용복
You think you can outdo Felix when it comes to affection? Think again.
It would kind of be an all-out war of love when you two were with each other.
Whenever you send some praise his way, expect it back. Maybe twofold.
You two were honestly kind of annoying to be around, but other people can just mind their own business, can’t they?
You two loved each other, and wanted the other to know that.
Seungmin 김승민
He would take it all with a small smile on his face.
Seungmin loves the attention you throw his way, he’s just less vocal about it.
Or, not really vocal at all.
Sure, you know he cares about you, he just doesn’t reciprocate in the same way you show your love.
He shows his by buying you things maybe, or taking you out to dinner.
Your relationship was definitely subdued compared to some of the other one’s, but no one could doubt that you cared about one another.
Jongin 양정인
Jongin would definitely be the kind of brother that would just go: “Ew, gross.”
Sure, he appreciates that you’re nice to him and everything, he just has a hard time showing it.
Just know that he really does value your attention, so keep sending it his way.
If you stop, he will get sad, and you don’t want that.

Stray Kids x Reader Reactions Arranged Marriage
Masterlist
Hello ^^
I hope you have been well.
I am trying to post more regularly, I swear I am :)
I hope you enjoy!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bang Chan 방찬
Chris would accept it pretty easily, in my opinion.
He is the leader of Stray Kids and knows when to step up and take responsibility.
When you were introduced, he would be a complete gentleman, the definition of manners.
In his mind, now that you belonged to each other, you would stay that way.
He would put a lot of effort into the relationship, as he does everything.
It might take a bit to get over the awkwardness, but once it was gone, it was never to be seen again.
He loved you and he was willing to fight for what you had.
Minho 이민호
I think it would be a bit more difficult in the beginning with Minho.
He really is a sweet man, once you get past that wall of toughness he likes to put up. However, once you look in between the cracks you’ll be able to see the softy behind there.
You don’t really know what made him start to treat you differently then he had in the beginning, but you weren’t complaining.
Once he decides to take care of you, he is going to be dedicated.
Just give him some time, he will come around.
Changbin 서창빈
I think in the beginning, Changbin would just be shy around you.
Yes, he would be nice and attentive, but he would be lying if he said he wasn’t intimidated by you a little bit.
I mean, think about it: all of a sudden, one day you’re forced to marry someone you don’t know and then live with them.
It’s only natural that he felt uncomfortable around you. And to be honest, you were probably awkward around him as well.
Which made for a vicious cycle of not wanting to get in each other’s way and just thinking the other hated them.
When you two would finally talk and just sit together it would be kind of spontaneous.
Perhaps he was sitting in the living room watching a show that you liked as well, so you just sat down next to him. When it was over, you two would talk about it and the rest was history.
You were inseparable after that.
No one could deny that you loved each other and God be with anyone who tried to separate you.
Hyunjin 황현진
This diva would be so dramatic about it.
Sure, he would go through with the marriage for the sake of his family, but he would let everyone know he didn’t like it.
He gave you attitude left and right, and eventually I feel like you would have to tackle him just to get him to look at you and shock him for a bit so the attitude would go away.
Just give this man some constant love, and he’ll eventually come around.
In the end, he really would be a good husband, but like everyone else it would just take him a bit to warm up to the idea of leading a domestic life.
Jisung 한자성
I just think he wouldn’t know what to do with you.
Like, he would want to try to make it work with you, but he just didn’t know how to go about it.
Think about it: one day he was single, and didn't have to care about anyone else. And then the next day, he had a partner that he was bound to for life.
That would make anyone confused or awkward at first.
But like with everyone else he encounters, he would get over it pretty quickly and shower you with all the love in the world.
You would never have to doubt his care for you, he’s just a bit awkward at first.
Felix 이용복
Did someone ask for overwhelming affection? Well, you’ve got yourself the right husband then.
Felix would be such a good significant-other right off the bat, I feel like.
And when he decides to love something, he does so fully. He gives them all his time and energy, and constant attention.
You will never doubt his love for you, as long as you are married.
Just make sure you give him just as much attention back, or he may get sad or feel as if you don’t love him.
He will be very attentive, but he is sensitive.
Please keep that in mind.
Seungmin 김승민
I feel like he would just pretend like nothing is happening.
You kind of felt like roommates??
For a while, he made no effort to communicate with you other than the occasional “hey” or “good morning”.
It would be a pretty natural progression, going from acquaintances, to friends, to lovers, but it would happen.
After a while, you two would be so comfortable around each other that others would wonder if you ever had problems in the first place.
Jongin 양종인
There is no doubt in my mind that this man would be a shy brat, if that makes any sense.
He doesn’t want you to be there, he didn’t ask for this. But, he can’t deny that you are attractive. And you're his. And he’s yours. He doesn’t want to think about the second part yet, that’s too much for his young-adult mind to handle.
Like I’ve repeated with everyone else, just give him time.
He will come around, it will just take a while.
Stray Kids x Reader Reaction: Strict Older Sister
Masterlist
Hello~ ^^
I’m sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted.
This is my first Stray Kids reaction, so I hope you enjoy.
As always, please feel free to request!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bang Chan 방찬
Why do you think he works so hard? You were breathing over his shoulder for most of his childhood, so how else was he supposed to turn out?
If he slacked off, you would always be there to give him a glare or a scolding.
You never beat him or anything like that, but have you seen Chan when he’s mad? He just gets all quiet and scowly and you can see that the other members are nervous when it happens.
You can say that it’s a family trait, the scariness.
Sure, you let up some once he moved out of the house and to Korea, but you would call him sometimes to ask how he was doing and eventually the conversations would naturally transition into him talking about just how much work and practice he has been doing.
He kind of lives for your praise as a side effect.
Some may see your relationship as kind of strained, but you really do love each other, you just show it in different ways.
And you understand one another.
Minho 이민호
It's where he gets his brattiness from. The tissue in the mouth thing was your idea too.
Even though you were strict, you let him act like a child around you. Result: brattiness.
Sure, you may have high expectations and expect him to follow them, but he’s got you wrapped around his finger.
As long as he acts right around you, you just shower him with affection. The affection may be kind of skewed, just like Minho’s is. You have to admit, it’s kind of violent. But, you both understand that you love each other.
You are siblings, and nothing is going to change that.
Changbin 서창빈
You honestly scare this man. There’s a reason he isn’t as scared of Minho and Bangchan as the rest of them are.
He grew up with you.
When you wanted something done, you wanted it done right then, and that was final.
He’s tried to tell you ‘no’ before and that did not end well. You were having none of it.
Again, it’s not like you beat him or anything, but there was something about you that demanded respect.
Did you notice how in the beginning, he tried to hide his cute side? That may have been because of you, because aegyo didn’t work with you.
He was not getting anything because he was just being cute.
He was eventually able to open up with the boys, but everything stayed the same with you.
Yes, you loved him, but you just showed it a bit…differently than some other might have.
You still terrify him though.
Hyunjin 황현진
He was all scared sass, if that makes any sense. You were able to tolerate his attitude up to a certain extent, and he kind of had a hard time guessing when it was.
He learned the sass from the best, which was you. But, you didn’t like it so much when it was directed at you.
Call it your toxic trait.
Out of all the pairings in this group, you two had the most “traditional” sibling relationship.
That was mostly because he put up a fight though. If he had just sat down and took the scolding like the rest of them did, it would be different.
You were both a force to be reckoned with, in your own ways.
But, you both would stay by each other at the end of the day.
Jisung 한지성
You really intimidated this man, but he was good at hiding it. It’s how he became so immune to Chan’s annoyed outbursts.
They don’t faze this chipmunk because he has seen worse: you.
You two would always bicker when you were together, but in the long-run, you would both kill for one another.
That may sound kind of dramatic, but you were both passionate about your protectiveness of one another. No one could say something bad about one without the other one knowing and exacting revenge.
You two loved each other, and it was obvious to everyone who had seen you together.
Felix 이용복
Ok, one thing I have to say about Felix is that he’s good at taking someone’s anger, deflecting, and acting cute right after.
You may have had a bit of an anger issue, and he learned the best way to deal with it was acting cute and lovable (not that he already isn’t).
Eventually, you would melt and relent in the face of his adorableness, but it would take some effort.
When he was eliminated from the group in front of JYP, he was devastated, and rather scared to tell you. You didn’t take his failure well.
However, you knew how hard he tried and how badly he wanted to stay with the rest of the boys, so you just comforted him instead.
Ever since then, your relationship has improved and evolved.
You no longer harped on him for absolutely everything; you let him do his thing because you knew he was going to do well.
Sure, sometimes you still have outbursts, but they are more rare.
When they happen, he just pulls out the ‘cute’ card and the issue gets solved once more.
Yes, you two really love each other, but the sibling relationship just took a bit longer to occur than some of the other ones.
Seungmin 김승민
He’s another one that knows how to handle you pretty well, like Hyunjin.
However, his is more of a placating “ok, I understand” instead of fighting back.
Sure, he has an attitude, and we all know he lets it loose often.
Never in front of you though, that would get him nowhere.
So, he has decided the best way to address your outbursts or nagging is just to comply and wait until they leave.
Since he decided to deal with it this way, you two honestly also never had problems with one another.
You had no reason to be displeased with him because he never did anything to make you mad, and he just took your strictness as your personality.
Jeongin 양정인
Oh my goodness, this man.
Since he never used to get his way with you, he is relishing the experience with the boys.
They let him get away with a lot.
However, that annoying little brother act with all the sass disappears as soon as you appear.
You honestly terrify him, and the others know it.
Since he started working at JYP, you haven’t seen each other very often, but when you do, the boys make sure to tease him about how he acted around you.
It’s not like he was subservient or anything like that, he was just more cautious. Maybe even more so than with his parents.
But that’s an older sibling's job, isn’t it? To be intimidating.

NCT 127 x Reader Reaction: You are Angry
Masterlist
Hello everyone!
I hope you are doing well!
I’m trying out a NCT reaction again, and I hope you enjoy!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Taeil
When the two of you had arguments, it was almost hard to catch that either of you were saying harsh words to each other.
You both made a point to always speak mildly to each other.
It was just something you both decided to do to keep your relationship healthy.
Sometimes, it seemed to make it worse, because it made you both wonder: Why am I feeling angry? They aren’t doing anything.
And then you would feel frustrated, like your feelings weren’t valid, and so on and so forth.
Most of the time, it seemed to help, though.
Usually, the resolution to your conflict occurred pretty quickly, because you both tried to help the other back into a better mood as quickly as possible.
Taeyong
Seeing you angry would really scare Taeyong.
Everyone thinks anger is unpleasant, however, it was just downright distressing for him.
He doesn’t like seeing you angry, and it was even worse when he was the cause of it.
“Jagiya?” He said tentatively as you sat there with your head in your hands, fuming.
You took a few deep breaths, “Yes?”
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you so mad.”
When you didn’t respond, he did the only thing he could think of doing: he wrapped his arms around you and hugged you tightly.
This seemed to work, and you practically deflated, leaning into his embrace.
“Will you let me get you something?”
“Like what?”
“Whatever you want.”
“...fine.”
Needless to say, Taeyong did his best to quickly pull you out of your anger, because he just hated seeing you like that.
Johnny
You two never seemed to be angry at one another, but when it happened, it was bad.
It would take a while for the both of you to get out of your agreeable and pleasant sense of mind, but once it happened, you were both stuck.
For quite a while.
The rest of the group absolutely hated it when it happened, because Johnny would be in a mood for the whole day, or days.
Luckily, it didn’t happen very often.
Making up would be kind a spontaneous thing, though.
Just, one moment you were mad at one another, the next not.
It was usually mutual when you were angry at each other, but on the rare occasion he did something to upset you, he would just be his happy self, and you would eventually get out of it.
Yuta
All. Out. War.
His anger is never pretty, your’s may even be less so.
Ironically, he would have to be the one to calm down first if you two wanted to ever solve anything.
You were kind of slow to anger, but when it happened, it was as if you lost your mind.
And it kind of felt like you did.
You held it in for so long, tried to keep in control.
And then you just lost it.
If he was the cause of it, he would feel really bad and try to fix it, but not before he got his own words in during your onslaught of emotion and pure rage.
Doyoung
Passive aggressive, all the way around.
Don’t expect anything else with him.
Arguments with Doyoung never ended, or even began well.
Hurtful words are flung left and right.
You both say things you don’t mean.
And the sass.
It’s not pretty.
Yes, he feels sorry for all the things he said and how he acted, but it would take him some time to get over it enough to apologize.
He really is a nice guy, just stubborn to a fault.
Jaehyun
I see him as quite an easy-going guy, so arguments might be rare with him.
When they happened, he just viewed it as something that happened in any relationship in life.
These things happen, and you can recover from them.
When you are genuinely angry, he just wraps you up in a tight hug, letting his presence calm you down enough to think rationally.
If he actually did something wrong, he would apologize right away, but only if he thought he was in the wrong.
WinWin
Baby boy, oh my gosh.
Seeing you angry would be such a terrifying experience for him, especially if you were someone rarely angry.
I can see him as more of the type to apologize when you were angry, even if he didn’t do anything.
He just wanted it all to stop and for you to calm down.
Protect this man, because he is precious.
Jungwoo
Silent treatment.
What more can I say?
You can’t yell and rail at him without consequences.
If he thought the words you were saying and your actions were unjust, expect to be ignored.
He was taking none of it if he didn’t deserve it.
If he did something wrong, of course he would apologize and feel really bad.
But only then.
Mark
Nervous boy.
He didn’t like seeing you angry, not one bit.
He is a full-grown man, I am aware of this.
But around you, he tended to let his vulnerable side show, because, you know, you were in a relationship??
He would do everything in his power to make you happy and content again, because he absolutely hated seeing you mad, especially if he was the cause of it.
Haechan
Aegyo, anyone?
Because be prepared, you will be receiving so much if Haechan is apologizing to you.
“Noona~” He would whine, wrapping you up in a hug, “I’m sorry~”
How can you say no to that?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank you so much for reading!
As always, please feel free to leave a request comment!
I would love to hear from you all.
Love,

NCT 127 x Reader Reaction: Arranged Marriage
Hello everyone! ^^
I finally decided to branch out into other groups besides BTS.
I hope you enjoy!
Masterlist
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Taeil
I feel like you two would be one of the most traditional couples ever.
You would always speak formally to each other, constantly being respectful.
He would be the classic gentleman for you: he would open doors for you, let you sit down first, help you down the stairs or out of the car.
You seemed like an old couple since day one.
Perhaps a bit awkward at first, but that would soon fade.
Taeyong
Now, some people may not agree with this, so just bear with me.
I feel like Taeyoung wouldn’t mind an arranged marriage all that much.
He has mentioned multiple times in his lyrics that he just wants to find someone who can control and tame him, making him feel cared about and safe.
And what better way to feel controlled than being tied down and restricted to a person you don’t even know?
Of course, after the wedding day, he would put all of his energy into getting to know you better and making the marriage work.
He really was a sweetheart and wanted to do his best for you.
Taeyoung would be the ideal husband, in my opinion.
Johnny
I feel like Johnny would be the most difficult, for some reason.
It wasn’t that he wasn’t friendly, he most definitely was. Almost to a fault.
He really put the friend in friendly.
Because that’s how he treated you.
For a long time, he didn’t really acknowledge as his wife, you were closer to a roommate to him.
When I say ‘a long time’, I mean it took a very long time for him to finally settle down and accept the situation he was in.
Years perhaps.
Maybe ten years down the road you two would be described as one of the most loving couples to ever exist.
However, for now, not quite.
Yuta
Fight fire with fire.
That’s all I can say for him.
He has a fiery personality and the only way to get him to back down and comply is to be just as loud and stubborn right back.
He is very nice once you get to know him and he isn’t just trying to rebel against the whole situation.
Eventually, your marriage smoothed out. But, like many of the others, it just took some patience.
Doyoung
Just give this man some time.
It will take a while for him to get used to you, but it will happen eventually.
Spend time around him, be nice to him. He will eventually reciprocate.
It will turn out to be a good marriage and a good match, just be patient with him.
Jaehyun
Ok, now this is a man who I feel like would just throw his all into the marriage, right off the bat.
He just seems like such a go-with-the-flow type of person, but also someone who just loves their significant-other wholeheartedly.
Such a strange but ideal combination.
Immediately after you were married, he would just latch onto you (figuratively and literally) and not want to let you go.
He would let you know every day just how much you meant to him and how thankful he was for you.
WinWin
I feel like he would be one of the ones to most easily accept it.
He would just: Ok :)
That’s it.
He treated you like his wife from day one and rather enjoyed his domestic life with you.
He may not be home very much, but when he was, you two made the most of it.
You both were really sweet and shy towards each other, so it was pretty good all around.
Jungwoo
Now, this is someone who I think you would feel some push-back from.
If you haven’t noticed, he kind of lives in his own little world, and doesn’t let anyone deter him from living the way he wants.
I get the feeling he does not like being told what to do, and this is the ultimate example of that.
Not being able to choose your marriage partner?
That’s just the epitome of self-abandonment in his opinion.
You would have some trouble with him.
Mark
Shy. Boy.
That’s really all I can say for him.
He, surprisingly, easily accepted the whole situation.
He would make an effort to take you out on dates, to make sure the two of you grew closer and more comfortable with each other.
Whenever people asked about you, he would get all shy and giggly, beaming as he described you in the most positive light.
He and you were the most loving couple, right from the start.
You were lucky to be matched with him, and he was lucky to be matched with you.
Haechan
Haechan seems like someone who just wants to be free, to be himself and not be tied down to anyone.
Not quite yet.
He’s still pretty young, and marriage just seems like such an old thing to him.
I’m not saying he would be terrible as a marriage partner, it would just take some time for him to get used to, that’s all.
It would just take time.
BTS x Reader Reaction: You Have Cold Hands
Masterlist
Anonymous asked:
can i request bts reaction to you having cold hands pls? love your reactions bby <3
A/n:
Oh my gosh, I can relate to this one so much!
My hands are practically ice-cubes 24/7 (my feet too, btw. Yeah, it’s not fun).
Thank you so much for requesting this, and I hope you enjoy!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jin
I feel like Jin would just be one to constantly worry.
You didn’t notice how cold your hands were, since you were so used to it. You’ve been like this since as long as you could remember.
He would constantly be making sure you put on gloves.
If you were opposed to that, he would sneak hot packs into your pockets.
Anything to keep your hands warm.
He would be such a mom about it, it’s not even funny.
Yoongi
For some reason, I feel like he has really cold hands too??
I’ve noticed that when I get sleep deprived, my body has a harder time regulating body temperature, and we all know that he is extremely so.
The others may not get much sleep, but he is on a whole other level.
So, there you two were, just a pair of icicles. There isn’t much you both can do about it.
You might have to share tips and tricks with each other on how to keep warm.
Just: Icicle couple.
That’s all I’m saying.
Hoseok
I think it would be more funny to see his reaction than anything.
One morning, you both were just going for a walk, and he went to hold your hand because, you know, you are a couple.
Immediately after making contact with your hand, he quickly pulled away from you and screamed, “Ahh!”
When you looked at him funny, he would just glare at you, “Jagi, what is wrong with your hands?! Are you ok? Are they going to fall off???”
To that you would just laugh.
He may try to put your hands in his pocket to warm them up, but no guarantees though.
You get what you’re going to get with him.
Namjoon
I don’t feel like Namjoon would say much of anything.
Yes, he cares about you and is worried. However, he knows you have noticed how cold your hands are by now. It’s your choice whether you want to do anything about it or not.
If you asked him to, he would buy stuff for you. Otherwise, he would just leave the decision up to you.
He let you take care of it.
Jimin
This squish would be another worrier.
The moment he felt how cold your hands were, he would just wrap you up in a tight hug, and insist on cuddling for the next hour.
You assured him you were fine, this was completely normal.
However, whenever the weather was cold, you would always have to affirm that yes, you were fine. Everything is normal, I’m not going to die.
He just really cares about you and wants you to be comfortable.
Taehyung
Now, with this man, I feel like he would be similar to Jin in this instance.
However, instead of mom-mode, it would be more like older-brother mode??
If you get what I’m trying to say.
He would always wrap you up tightly in warm clothes, almost giving you a heat stroke in the process.
He would just really worry about you, and want to do something about it.
This is how he would just show that he cares.
Jungkook
The only reaction I feel like Jungkook would have would be:
Oh. That’s interesting.
And that would kind of be the end of it.
Like Namjoon, if you asked for help, he would grant it.
However, he would just let you do your own thing.
It was your body, and if you wanted to freeze it, that was your own choice.

BTS x Reader Reaction: You Lose a Family Member
Masterlist
A/N:
Hello everyone!
I’m so sorry I haven’t posted in a while, I’ve just had a few things going on.
I promise I will get to requests soon...
I have had three family members pass within the past year, so this is kind of a personal reaction for me.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jin
Sitting next to you on a white, wooden pew, Seokjin watched you as silent tears streamed down your face, a testament to the sorrow you had held in the days prior.
As he rubbed your back, you leaned into his side, taking refuge in his comfort.
One of your closest cousins had passed away, due to suicide.
Jin knew you felt guilty. You felt like you should have been there for them, but you had selfishly been in Korea, pursuing your own dreams, love, and ambitions.
Pressing a kiss to your forehead, he reassured you that it wasn’t your fault. You did all that you could, and that would have to be enough.
He would be with you through the whole recovery process, helping heal your wounds.
Yoongi
With Yoongi, he would have to be the one to comfort you after your dad’s passing.
Your dad was definitely the back-bone of the family. The one who supported everyone through everything. The solidarity when the world seemed to be swaying.
However, that firm ground was gone. The rug was pulled out from under both you and your family, and you all felt vulnerable. Especially your mother.
Your mom hadn’t worked since she had given birth to you, because she needed to take care of the kids, while your dad provided for the family.
Now, you saw it as your responsibility to step up and be that rock.
It had been a few weeks, and it had already taken its toll on you. You felt so tired and defeated.
So, even though Yoongi was already so stressed from his work, he would take it upon himself to help out as well.
Not only would he send money to his parents, but your mother as well. He would begin calling her and encouraging her, doing the same with you.
Even though it was outside of his comfort zone, he would do it for you.
Because he loves you and wants you to be ok.
Hoseok
With Hoseok, he would have to comfort you after the death of your family’s dog.
It was merely due to old age, and your family had been warned and prepared, but it still hit just as hard.
You had spent so much time with your dog, and had him since high school.
He had felt like a younger brother. It was like losing a sibling.
He encouraged you to talk to your family, as well as do things that you enjoyed.
He would take you to an amusement park, and then your favorite restaurant.
Even though it was just a family pet, he understood how close the two of you were, and made sure to spend extra time with you, distracting and cheering you up.
Namjoon
“Jagiya, are you alright?”
Namjoon looked at you in alarm as you dropped your phone on the ground, a shocked look on your face as tears began to stream down your cheeks.
“My...grandma.” You heaved as you tried to control yourself, but you just fell apart.
His heart sank in his chest when he heard those two words.
He knew your great-grandmother had cancer, and he knew it was bad. He also knew how devastating this was for you.
You and your grandma were so close. But, now, she was gone.
Namjoon would spend the rest of the day just holding and comforting you.
It would take time for you to heal, but he would be there through all of it.
Namjoon would not leave your side.
Jimin
“Please, no....don’t go, please.” You said in tears.
Jimin had to watch as you begged your friend, who was practically your sister, to not die.
“Y/n, you know I don’t have a choice.” It was clear she was practically using up the last of her energy to say this to you.
You just clung to her hand and cried, “Please...please…”
When you finally saw that dreaded flat line, you practically collapsed to the floor, fainting from raw shock and sorrow.
Jimin was beside himself to say the least. Just a few days ago, you were the happiest he had ever seen you.
Now, you were in your own hospital bed, an IV attached to your arm, and the only sound in the room was your steady breathing.
This would take a toll on him. He wouldn’t go to work, he might now even talk to the other members.
When you finally woke up, he would just hold you for hours, not letting you go.
When you finally made it home, he would stay with you for days before you both returned to your regular lives.
It may take a while, but you will eventually return back to normal.
And he would help you through the whole process.
Taehyung
Even though the other members would definitely feel sympathetic, I just feel like Taehyung would feel it on a whole other level.
He is so perceptive, and kind of seems like an empath to me (a/n: I would know because I am one. Seriously guys, it’s not fun.)
Immediately knowing something was wrong when he walked into the room, he made a beeline to you, finding you curled up in your closet, just trying to calm down.
Wrapping his arms around you, he would wait until you were ready to tell him what happened.
Seeing the tears on your face, it would bring some to his own, his chest tightening sympathetically, causing his breath to catch in his throat.
You might end up having to comfort each other.
Needless to say, he would be with you through the whole thing, not letting you wallow in your sorrow for too long.
Yes, it is good to mourn for those you have lost. However, if it is prolonged, it can become destructive, both mentally and physically.
Thanks to him, it wouldn’t last too long, and you only remembered the happy and joyful memories with the person you lost.
You were able to think of them fondly, without sorrow.
This is the biggest accomplishment, in my opinion.
Jungkook
With Jungkook, he would have to comfort you when a family member died due to a car accident.
You weren’t especially close to this family member. However, they were family all the same.
It baffled you to think that someone you just saw at a family reunion a few months ago was gone. You would never see them again.
It really scared you more than anything.
Needless to say, Jungkook would have to drive you places, when time permitted.
And even when it didn’t, he would find the time to do so.
He, as well as everyone else, would stay by your side and just make sure you are ok.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank you so much for reading!
I am so sorry I haven’t posted in a while, but things have just been so busy with school and work.
I hope you all are doing well. :)

BTS x Reader Reaction: You Have An Unusual Allergy
A/N: Just a bit of background for this one.
I myself have a lot of weird allergies, including multiple to different kinds of fruits, grains, vegetables, etc.
All of these in here are from personal experience.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jin
You two were just having a nice time cooking together when it happened.
You had tasted an ingredient that he had prepared earlier, and were just doing your thing, to later find your throat begin to itch.
The all too familiar feeling of your neck slowly tightening began slowly and then got stronger, causing you to cough and look around frantically for your pills.
Realizing you had left them in a bag at work, you ran over to the bathroom door, which Jin was inside of.
Frantically pounding on the door, you began to gasp for air, before slumping to the ground, wanting to save your breath.
In a panic, you could hear him washing his hands, throwing open the door to see your shaken state.
“Jagi? What’s wrong?”
Hearing your gasping breaths had him panicked, which promptly led him to call an ambulance.
About an hour later, when you were comfortably in a hospital bed and everything began to calm down, he asked you what had happened.
“Jin, did you put apple in what you were cooking earlier?”
He looked confused, “Well, you I did. What? Is that what caused this?”
When you nodded, he began to feel incredibly guilty.
“Oh, I’m sorry, Jagiya. I didn’t mean to hurt you…”
You just smiled at him and took one of his hands in yours, “It’s not your fault, Jin. You don’t need to worry about it. Besides, you got me over to the hospital in time. Even if there was a mistake that you made, you fixed it, so it’s fine.”
That calmed him down a bit, but after that rest assured that he will not make the same mistake again. Before the two of you go on a date, he will even check with every restaurant beforehand to make sure that they don’t cook with apples, or at least make preparations for your arrival.
He would be incredibly careful after that and make sure you were safe.
Yoongi
You didn’t mean to worry him, you had just wanted to warn him about some possible symptoms, and to know what to do if you started having them.
You were mildly allergic to oats, which you had eaten on purpose, because the only food around at the moment was a granola bar, and you were just starving.
Knowing that you would have a reaction, you immediately took an allergy pill right after, then tried to explain to Yoongi what was going on.
“This doesn’t normally happen, since I just took a pill for it, but if I start to have a harder time breathing, could you just take me to the hospital? I really doubt it will happen, but just in case.”
Your last sentence, which you hoped would mask the fact you just said ‘hospital’, did nothing of the sort.
“Jagi, what do you mean? Why would I need to take you there?” He asked urgently.
“I just ate a granola bar, and I’m allergic to oats. Like I said, I really doubt anything will happen, I was just saying it as a precaution.”
“Jagi, what were you thinking?! Why would you eat that?!”
“I was hungry! And there wasn’t anything else to eat around here.”
“I could have ordered chicken or something, it would have been here in less than fifteen minutes!”
“But I was hungry now! And I still wouldn’t turn down the chicken, by the way.”
Rolling his eyes at you, he ordered the food all the same, but made sure to make you promise to never do this again. You would tell him if you had any other allergies, and he would make sure you never ate them.
I think he would end up being more cautious than you were.
Hoseok
“Jagiya!” He screamed as he came flying over, knocking a peach out of your hand, “Why is that poison within a five foot radius of your body?!”
“What the heck, Hobi?!” You picked the piece of fruit up off the ground and dusted it off with your sleeve, “This isn’t for me! It’s for you, I was just going to put it in the fruit bowl.”
You pointed to the unassuming glass dish sitting on the counter.
“No!” He snatched it out of your hand and held it away from you, “You are going nowhere near this toxic thing! I hereby banish peaches from this house for all eternity!”
His antics causing you to laugh, you questioned him, “But don’t you like them? What are you going to eat?”
“Anything else! I will not risk my Jagi’s health for my tastebuds!”
(I’m sorry, but why is this gif so perfect for the reaction I wrote?? I wrote it and then picked the gifs, I swear)
Namjoon
“Jagiya.” He scolded you, looking down at you as you sat on the couch with a bag of cashews in your hand, “Should you be eating those?”
Sighing, you leaned back on the couch and popped another one in your mouth, “No, but I really wanted to. It’s that time of the month, and I was really craving them. Besides, I took a pill right before I started eating, I’ll be fine.”
Snatching the bag out of your hand, he threw it in the trash.
“You just wasted five dollars.” You deadpanned, “And I’m still having cravings, you’re being no help.”
“I can give you five dollars, and I’ll buy you whatever else you want to eat, just don’t be eating things you’re allergic to!”
You paid no mind to his last sentence and focused on the middle part, “Anything I want?”
“Anything you want.”
“Yes!” You jumped up and danced around the room, hurrying to the door, “You’re taking me to the store, and we’re going on a chocolate raid!”
Chucking at you, he just followed you out the door, letting you buy what you wanted, as long as it posed no threat to your health.
Jimin
“Jagiya~”
Jimin came waltzing into the room, holding a plate stacked high with watermelon.
“Do you want some?”
“Of course!” You ran over to your purse and pulled out a bottle of pills, “I just need to take this, and I’ll be right back.”
Taking a glass of water, you popped the pill into your mouth and swallowed it.
Quickly making your way back to where Jimin was, you found him looking all confused.
“What is it?” You questioned as you took a piece of that delicious fruit off of the plate and took a bite.
“Are you allergic to this too, Jagi?”
Nodding, you just took another bite, “Yep, but it’s just one I don’t pay much mind to. I like it too much to omit it from my diet.”
“Jagi…”
“Ah!” You waved a hand in front of your face, “Don’t you go scolding me too! I know what I’m doing, just trust me on this one, ok? I’ll be fine, I know what I’m doing.”
Reluctantly, he gave into your wishes, but he made sure to get a detailed list of your allergies soon after that.
He didn’t want to accidentally feed them to you again. He would be extra careful with this one, even if you told him there was nothing to worry about.
Taehyung
After you quietly excused yourself from a family dinner, Taehyung came to check on you when you hadn’t returned from the bathroom after about ten minutes.
He poked his head in through the door, “Jagiya, is everything alright?”
Looking up from your spot on the edge of the tub, you nodded and gave him a smile, “Yes, I’m just waiting for my throat to calm down. I’m allergic to oysters, so it just gets uncomfortable.”
“Really?” He walked over to you with a worried expression on his face, “Are you alright? Do you need anything?”
Shaking your head, you pointed to the bottle of pills you placed on the counter, “I already took my medicine, it just takes a bit for everything to calm down. Don’t worry, I’ll be fine in a few minutes.”
He would stop bugging you about it, but would keep a close eye on you for the rest of the night. If you showed the slightest bit of discomfort, he would immediately question you about, wanting to make sure you were safe and healthy.
Jungkook
“Yeobo, are you alright?” Jungkook would question you as you were hunched over yourself, trying to gain breathe back into your lungs.
You two were on a date, when all of a sudden you felt your throat start to become uncomfortably tight, causing your lungs to have to work harder to get air to them.
Quickly taking a pill out of your purse, you gestured to the drink in his hand, taking a swig of it before swallowing the medicine.
Watching you intently, he asked again, “Are you alright? Do you need something? What did you eat?”
This had happened before with green peppers, although this time you accidentally ate something with strawberry in it, which caused this reaction.
“What was it this time?”
You scrunched up your nose, knowing the look you were going to get from him, “Strawberry.”
Yep, there it was.
“Strawberry??”
Hitting him on the arm, you just took it slow while your body decided to stop attacking itself, then just went on with your day.
For sure, he would store this trigger away in his memory, but he wouldn’t make a big deal out of it.
You’ve got it handled, and he didn’t want to interfere in something he knew you wouldn’t want him to.
