#ffxiv #ffxiv spoilers #<- just in case #7.1 patch notes #STARCROSS IS NO LONGER MELEE RANGE FOR NO GOOD REASON #less nastrond is kinda :/ but we get higher potencies #and tbh with all the new bonus moves for the dives this'll make the burst window feel less hectic #plus from what i can tell the potency changes to the 3 lotd moves + mirage mean it's less nastrond but a bit more dmg overall #oh and enhanced enpi is there. not that i'll use it BECAUSE ALL THE BOSS ARENAS HAVE DEATH WALLS NOW

I was working on some Dawntrail quests to level SMN and eventually came upon this gem of a quest:

After I got cockblocked at the baths, I went to finish up the quest, and the giver mentioned someone...

Then I remembered... a FATE. All the way back in ARR, in Copper Lake.

I understand why people see venats “no more shall man have wings to bear him to paradise. henceforth, he shall walk.” as a #hardship breeds character #ease is bad statement but to me in the context of endwalker and in the context of Hermes’ whole deal it was more to me a “you are so fixated on heaven you think earth is a misery. I’m overturning the fast lane you are trying to pave to heaven. Everyone is taking the scenic route”

For the record y'all, the Standard Finish you give yourself as a dancer is a separate buff from the one Dance Partner gives, and the two can stack

It's only when two dancers partner the same person that the buff gets overwritten instead of stacking (because it's effectively two applications of the same effect, like with addle or trick attack)

#ffxiv #zaide and silver flower have a symbiotic relationship #where zaide doesn't feel the need to talk much (due to her upbringing)#and silver flower is unafraid to speak his mind regardless of the situation #so zaide acts as the ''official'' wol while silver flower voices their concerns/protests #when silver flower isn't available zaide usually lets someone else (alphinaud) do the talking instead #she gets her natural quietness from her mother (who also usually talks only when necessary)
