Sally Jones Case Update 2
Earlier today, the Gazette was sent yet another envelope from “D.L.” - the person who claims to have kidnapped Sally Jones. Sally went missing nearly a week ago.
Inside the envelope, we found a note from the supposed kidnapper which read the following:
“I have something from her for you to read. We caught her out, but she is right, she won't get to see you again, so why not let her share her last thoughts? She will be punished for this. So enjoy it.
- D.L.” The envelope also contained a long handwritten letter, seemingly from Sally herself. Sally provides some details about those involved in her abduction. she mentions “they” at one point, meaning there may be more than just “D.L” involved. She goes into disturbing detail about what her assailant has done to her, and continues to do. She also writes direct messages to her friends Jack, Chris, Vince, and Jesus. A few lines on the letter are written in a stylized manner. The stylized lines appear to be lyrics from the song “ X & Y” by Coldplay.
We are unable to determine why Sally seemingly chose to include these lyrics at this time. Though it may be a possible clue as to the whereabouts of Sally Jones, and/or her assailant. Or perhaps it’s a message to someone... It is the Gazette’s hope that by sharing this letter, the LSPD, as well as the citizens of Los Santos, can help find Sally Jones.
If you have any information about her whereabouts, or if you have seen her around the city, please contact Vince Knight @ 95121, Chris Right @ 97788, or Jack Right @ 13921. The letter is graphic in nature. click “Keep Reading” to view.
“Trying hard to speak and fighting with my weak hand, driven to distraction, it’s all part of the plan.
I don’t know if you’ll see ever see this, and I don’t know if you’ll ever see me again, but I have an opportunity and I’m going to take it, for I’m afraid if I don’t tell you now, I’ll never get the opportunity. Everything is quiet in the afternoon. The walls are dark and the only light comes from the crack under the door. Everything is damp, from a mixture of mould and what I have to assume is my own blood.
When something is broken and you try to fix it, trying to repair it, any way you can.
They usually come in during the early hours. I have no concept of time, but I know when they come in it is dark, and I can’t see what is coming, but when they leave the light is natural and beautiful. I’ve learnt to shut my mind off. I remember the first night, but not well. The first cut was the one on my wrist. He keeps it bleeding, he says it’s his favourite. My mind is changing. I remember less and less, I just wake up each day with a new, deeper, longer cut with no memory of it happening. It hurts, a lot.
I dive in at the deep end, you become my best friend. I want to love you but I don’t know if I can.
Jack, Chris and Vince, sorry, for all the times I may have unknowingly hurt your feelings and caused you pain. Our friendship is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Talking to you made me smile and meeting you set me free. You saved me.
I know something is broken, and I'm trying to fix it, trying to repair it, any way I can.
Jesus, I don’t want you to become sad, I still live somewhere else, where you can’t see me and can’t hear me, but I will see you and know how you are. And I will wait for you until you come to me. Everybody has his time and will move sometime. Remember what you are and who would deserve you. And I thank you and apologize for the very wonderful, hard times that you spent with me. I am sorry for putting her in danger. I hope that you won’t forever hate me.
You and me are floating on a tidal wave, together, you and me are drifting into outer space.
- Sally”

Sally Jones Case Update
Yesterday evening, the person claiming to have abducted Sally Jones sent a letter to the Los Santos Gazette. The sender’s name appears as only “D.L.”
We at the Gazette can’t help but to interpret this letter as a form of “public teasing”. A photo which depicts a masked and injured woman was also included. The letter claims the woman in the photo is Sally Jones. We are releasing the contents of the letter in hopes that the LSPD and citizens may be able to help in finding her as soon as possible.
If you have any information about her whereabouts, or if you have seen her around the city, please contact Vince Knight @ 95121, Chris Right @ 97788, or Jack Right @ 13921. The letter and photo below are graphic in nature. Click “Keep Reading” to view.
“I’m so glad that I have access to her blog. Nothing better than letting her family know how silky her hair feels and how sweet her nectar is.
The cut on her wrist is my favourite. She must love it though, because she has given up fighting. She is a good listener. I’ve told her about my father. I can trust Sally. She knows what needs to be done. She is ok with it now.
Sally. Soft. Sweet. Syrup. She has to die. It’s part of the plan. I use her, I love her, take her hair. And then she is gone. Given away. She will soon be with the other its. Bloated empty shells.
Deflated balloons hanging from the ceiling.
At will I could slay thousands of your best citizens, for I am in close relationship with the Angel of Death. So watch out Los Santos. Who is next?
- D.L.”

Man admits assault on twitter, refuses to cooperate with police.
Earlier today, a man named Jack Evans publicly admitted to being the cause for a downed man on Legion Square”. In his admission, he claimed “self-defense”. An LSPD official asked Mr. Evans to meet him at the local PD for questioning. Mr. Evans refused... publicly.
While we at the Gazette admire Mr. Evans’ tenacity and honesty, we can’t help but to wonder if this may cause future troubles for him. Best of luck, Mr. Evans!

Man Murdered by Authorities?
At approximately 3:54 last night (shortly before the storm), the Los Santos Gazette received a tip from a witness to a crime reportedly committed by the LSPD/LSFD. According to the witness, there was a major traffic incident (part of which is pictured above). an LSPD cruiser, a Fire truck, and a Hummer-type vehicle all quickly drove off the scene shortly after the witness arrived. Left behind was a seemingly innocent man, laying in a pool of his own blood. The witness submitted a photo of the tragic scene. Warning, graphic content. CLICK HERE TO VIEW. The Witness was censored out of the image for his protection. The witness tried to call back authorities, but there was no response. Nor was there a response to a nearby theft of a tow truck which happened shortly after the reported incident. The victim reportedly passed away at the scene. A sad end seemingly brought upon by those who have sworn to protect him, and all other citizens of our city. The Los Santos Gazette will reach out to the LSPD for comment. Jonas Kadwell contributed to this report. Image provided by a key witness who will remain unnamed for his protection.

Motorist Caught in Hit and Run.
Earlier this afternoon, a shirtless man driving a chrome-painted vehicle ran down a group of pedestrians at Legion Square, before speeding away. There appeared to be no motive for the man’s crime. Thankfully, LSPD and EMS responded to the scene quickly to take care of the victims.
In perhaps the most astonishingly unexpected move we’ve ever seen, the motorist returned to the scene of the crime thinking no one would recognize him or his vehicle. Of course, he was pointed out immediately. LSPD has taken the man into custody for processing and further questioning.

FLEECA’s Five Alarm Fail
At approximately 7:50pm on September 10th, LSPD responded to a false alarm at the Strawberry Ave FLEECA branch.
A responding LSPD officer has confirmed the false alarm. This is just another of a long string of false alarms at this particular FLEECA branch. Faulty wiring is suspected to be the cause. However, this issue has caused the LSPD to respond to a high number of false alarms throughout this past month. Of course, this means that city tax is being needlessly spent during each false alarm occurrence.
Will FLEECA take financial responsibility for these occurrences? Will they ever fix their faulty alarm?
We (LSG) have tried to reach out to a FLEECA representative for comment on the issue. So far, no representative has been willing to comment.
More on this story as it develops…

FLEECA FLEECED!
At approximately 11:40 on September 4th, Los Santos police were called to an attempted robbery at the Strawberry Ave FLEECA branch. Upon arrival, the perpetrator(s) had gotten away. This was one of many attempts on this branch in the past few weeks. There were no nearby witnesses to this attempted robbery itself as far as our reporters could tell. However, LSG was on site during the police response. When we (LSG) sent out a tweet about the news, a representative from the LSPD replied “That is false news”. Why the LSPD would deny the (seemingly common) situation is currently unknown. Update: September 10th Thanks to a statement from an LSPD officer, we can now reveal that the earlier robbery appears to be gang-related. The officer went on record to state “The gang associated with the robbery will be brought to justice soon”. More on this story as it develops.... Jonas Kadwell contributed to this report.
