DnD 5e is actually so good though you can change anything you want. My friends and I have a fun homebrew rule where we don't actually use maps or dice or minis or pen and paper at all, we go out on the sidewalk and use chalk to draw squares with numbers in them and we take turns hopping through them one foot at a time

⚔️ 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺! Scythe of the Grim Shepherd
Weapon (quarterstaff), very rare (requires attunement) ___
The sharpened horns and skull of a great ram rest atop this gnarled staff to form a twin-bladed scythe. On a hit, this weapon deals either bludgeoning or slashing damage (your choice), plus an extra 1d8 necrotic damage. It gains 1 charge whenever a creature with a challenge rating of 1 or higher within 60 feet of you is slain, up to a maximum of 10 charges. The staff loses all charges whenever you finish a long rest of if your attunement to it ends. While holding the staff, you can expend 1 or more of its charges for the following properties:
𝘾𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝. You can use an action to expend 6 of the weapon’s charges to cast the “circle of death" spell from it (save DC 16).
𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙡. You can use a bonus action to expend up to 3 of the weapon’s charges to regain 1d6 + 2 hit points for each expended charge. If the grim ram is summoned, it also regains any lost hit points.
𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙢𝙣𝙚𝙙. You can use an action to expend 1 of the weapon’s charges to attempt to bring an undead creature that you can see under your control. The target must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or become charmed by you for 1 hour or until it takes any damage. A creature with immunity to the charmed condition still makes this saving throw, becoming charmed as normal on a failure, but makes the roll with advantage. An undead charmed in this way is indifferent toward you and your companions and automatically fails any saving throw against an effect that would turn it, such as by a cleric’s Channel Divinity.
𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙤𝙣 𝙂𝙧𝙞𝙢 𝙍𝙖𝙢. You can use an action to expend 2 of the weapon’s charges to summon a grim ram: an all-black goat with four horns. The goat appears in an unoccupied space that you can see within 30 feet of you, and remains until it’s reduced to 0 hit points or until you use this property of the weapon again. The goat is friendly to you and your companions. It uses the statistics for a giant goat…

D&D character for when my in-person group gets back together again!
their name is MAC, which is an acronym for Mold Ambassadorial Colony. As their name suggests, they're a whole bunch of fungus piloting a skeleton to act as a representative for a massive godlike sentient mold.
they're a circle of spores druid and refer to themselves as "we" because they're technically a whole bunch of organisms

How to make Dr Heinz Doofenschmirtz in dnd 5e. Remember this is base game with no unearth arcana. You do not have to follow any of my rules as this my guide to be more doof.
First, artificer. At his core Heinz invents things that seem to run on junk and magic. You can multi-class I only think about level 1 but at his base he is an artificer. I suggest against multiclassing with rogue, mystic, warlock, sorcerer, monk, paladin, wizard, and cleric because he is not himself magical and is not the best at combat, stealthing. I suggest bard if you multi-class as he pulls off musical numbers time and time again.
Race can really be anybody that does Not add to wis and is not a of giant size. I suggest human, variant or not.
Attributes
Int highest as doof is able to make a versatile array of machines, deadly or not. Con second as he is a cartoon character who has survived many terrible things, watch the show a couple episodes in and he survives being stepped on by building. Dex third, he can almost keep up with Perry the platypus in combat. Cha fourth as he is lacking in looks on the show but can pull off musical numbers like I said earlier. Str fifth as he is skinny and can’t do much damage with melee weapons. Wis as absolute last and if your distributing points and not rolling dice DO NOT increase wisdom as it is his weakness and why he keeps on making self-destruct button.
I will make a part two and go in more depth if more people demand it or if I feel like it.

Rough sketch of the eldest sibling okalla (she/he) o: The best knight/researcher/bartender/guard/etc in all of faerun......
-
[ID: A roughly painted sketch of a muscular elven character with light brown skin and short, messy darker brown hair. She's dressed in a mix of plate armour and chain mail, and has a large glaive and sword strapped to her back to form an X where they cross. He has a large scar running from the bridge of his nose down to below his left ear, which is pierced with a gold hoop, while the right ear is cut off about two thirds of the way up. She's balancing a bar tray with two beer glasses on it in one hand and a stack of books in the other, both of which look very precarious and like they might fall any second, and is looking off to her left with a big, energetic smile. End ID.]

In the future the Pope excommunicates your entire city with lasers. Imperial Earth was to be part of the Anywhen universal role-playing system, advertised prominently in many gaming magazines but never published. (Ad from Different Worlds 45, Chaosium, March/April 1987 – this issue also featured a full page ad for K Society’s Fireland, with both ads on the inside covers) The ad blitz and the reservation of a booth at GenCon that stood empty all weekend apparently burned the last of the company’s cash.
