“Christmas might be for the believers only but the endearment of Santa reaches to every kid, who believes in his existence…….”
‘Is Santa real or unreal?’ – This never bothered me (at least) . He surely was not a superhero and not an omnipresent entity too. But he is a friend, a friend to that child too who does not have any.

"At the centre, there is Delhi government, at the state there is Mumbai government, but here we are our own government." These words point yo the pride, affirmation, inclusive government and self-empowerment of people of Lekha-Medha village (Gadchiroli, Maharashtra) belonging to Gond tribe. Inspite of being underdeveloped and Maoist affected, this village has set an example by becoming the 1st village which has been granted the Community Forest Rights under the Schedule Tribes and Other Forest Dwellers Act, 2006.

When the world is grappling with the crisis of climate change and nations are forced to sign various Protocols and Agreements, these are the people who are actually saving the planet. The entire talks of sustainable development and environmentalism are futile without understanding their culture. Though their societies are not modern in the sense being formally educated, industrialized, economically developed but their primitive lifestyle will make us feel shameful about our concepts of modernity and growth.

6th December, which marks the death anniversary of the Father of Indian Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar. 64 years ago, on the very same day, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar attained nirvana and the downtrodden, opressed and discriminated masses of our nation became orphans because their ‘Baba’ had passed away. Half a million grieving people attended his Buddhist cremation at the Dadar Chowpatty. Till date, lakhs of people every year are present at the Chaitya Bhoomi to remember him.....
Do not let your ideas die! A tribute to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar
