“Ivan, it’s me, Liudvika.” She said as she neared him, her voice calmer. “Why is it so dark in here?” She asked, more to herself then him.

"Wait! Stop!" Ivan yelled, his hands feeling for something, anything, in the inky black. He wasn't sure if it was dark, or if he was blind, but he was a nervous wreck nonetheless.

“Ivan? Is that you?” Liudvika called through the dark, whipping around at the sound of the Russian’s voice. She then began to take slow and careful steps towards the source of Ivan’s voice, hoping she was going the right way.
