Oh I had a bit of a fright there too! Thanks @volcanicflowers!
The Blue Sky videos are gone ??!!!
Nooooo. Could you PLEASE post them back up or ask someone from Geekenders to post them back up! I loved watching them so much after I finished (Not emotionally) playing Portal 2. They gave me a sense that it truly hadn’t ended like it had..
Good news! I’d forgotten that the videos were unlisted, so only those who had the link could see them. And then @volcanicflowers was good enough to provide me with the links again… at which time I got distracted and forgot about them until now. But here they are!

This weekend I went to see How I Met My Mother: A Back to the Future Parody Musicsal performed by @the-geekenders and it was everything I’d hoped for and more!
Highlights include:
The requisite inclusion of “The Power of Love” and “Back in Time”
Parody songs such as “Great Scott, Marty” (“Under the Sea”), “Our Biff” (“Gaston”), “Stand Up” (“Man Up”), and “The Time Car” (“The Time Warp”)
Graeme Thompson as the most eerily accurate Crispin Glover/George McFly you will ever see
Erin Foster as the thirstiest Lorraine Baines
Chris Nyarady does a fantastic Christopher Lloyd/Doc Brown
Henry Beasley (Marty McFly) surprising me for the umpteenth time at his skills
An amazingly talented supporting cast
Billy Zane is part of Biff Tannen’s gang
The fact that Geekenders built their own DeLorean for the stage
Social commentary, like: “Who’s president in 1985?” “Ronald Reagan.” “The actor?! …As if the public would elect a completely unqualified celebrity to lead the country!”
Meta moments: “…If I go to the dance, I’ll miss my favorite television show, ‘Science Fiction Theatre.’” “Can’t you record it, or watch it on re-runs?” “What part of “this is 1955” aren’t you getting?!”
Watching the story unfold live before my eyes. For example, seeing Marty collapse as he’s playing the guitar at the dance was gripping and really added to the urgency of the moment.
It was an evening well spent! I’m so proud of everyone involved. Fairlith has created something awesome once again!

Who's running this now?
I go by “Serenity” here on tumblr!
I offered to run this blog after some unfortunate events happened over on the original one that led to it being closed, but Tumblr is too good an outlet to shut out this corner of the internetand there are many people who like the Geekenders shows on here. I’ll be keeping you updated with the current Geekenders projects! I’ve also recently recruited a friend to help me with this blog, but I will leave it to them to make themselves known whenever it is they are comfortable doing so, though I’ll be doing most of the upkeep.
You can also find me over @ dreamofserenity626 and wheaterz

MEET THE CAST OF How I Met My Mother: A Back to the Future Parody Musical!! CHRIS NYARADY - DOC BROWN Chris Nyarady is a cool dude. All of his family and most of his friends agree! The path to becoming an actor/director/writer/producer/comedian/animator is a long and boring one, but in the interest of saving time let's just mention some highlights. Chris comes from Fredericton, New Brunswick where he studied multimedia and theatre, and in his spare time ran a radio show, played keyboard in a funk band, drew comics, and took part in many local theatre productions. Moving to Halifax, Chris worked in dinner theatre, did improv comedy, and generally accomplished what most people in their 20s accomplished once they were out of college. Now in Vancouver, he's mostly known at night as the previous producer and current host of the reoccurring live comedy debate podcast Geeks versus Nerds Vancouver, and during the day as an animator on various animated productions. He also runs a monthly video game trivia night "There Is No Easy Mode", co-created the independent theatre company Mad House Productions, and was last seen with the Geekenders portraying Space Core in Portal 2: The (Unauthorized) Musical, and The Riddler in their "Wayne Manor" interactive theatre piece. Also, Back to the Future is his favorite movie ever, and he's incredibly thankful for this opportunity to play one of fiction's greatest mad scientists: Doc Brown. MEET THE CAST OF How I Met My Mother: A Back to the Future Parody Musical!!
ALI WATSON - GOLDIE WILSON/MARTHA BERRY "Just calling to tell you that a white man just invented rock'n'roll!" Ali Watson is thrilled to be in a musical for a trilogy she knows nothing about! When she isn't busy being a total blasphemer to the BTTF die-hards, she can also be seen... at home in her boxers on the couch. As a graduate of the Capilano University Musical Theatre Program, she has done many shows around town. The recent titles she has appeared in include: Jesus Christ Superstar as Judas (URP) The Drowsy Chaperone as Trix (TUTS) and Crybaby as Dupree (Awkward Stage.) Please enjoy watching her gender bend once again as Goldie Wilson and Marvin ("Martha") Berry. (She would also like to mention that she has officially watched BTTF as of last week and very much enjoyed it) Enjoy the Show! Tickets available at http://riotheatretickets.ca/

Oh man, there's no way I could make it to the Dec 8 production, but will your performance be available online somehow? I'd be willing to pay for online tickets if that was possible.
I believe the show will be recorded and posted on the Geekenders YouTube channel after its run it’s course! I will keep everyone informed on future updates.I remember that a livestream showing was done for the Portal musical so maybe I can see if that’s being set up as well.
