Radhika Returns To Mollywood With A Crime Drama In Gambinos

Sydney based filmmaker Girish Panicker Mattada is all set to release “The Gambinos” post-production and is expecting a release soon. Radhika Sarathkumar is starring in the lead roles in the film who had portrayed one of the principal characters in the super hit Malayalam film Ramaleela, has presently appeared in another powerful character in Gambinos.

Radhika has acted in beyond two hundred films in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada is also an Indian television actress, entrepreneur, and producer who had accomplished herself in all these industries. Vishnu & Neeraja Stars Together As A Fresh New On-Screen Couple In Gambinos

Motivated by the popular New York-based crime family, The Gambinos movie portrays the story of a Malayali crime family based in Kerala with a history of crime. In one of our before blogs, we have highlighted about Vishnu & Sijoy duo. Likewise, the film director Girish Panicker Mattada has presented another pair in the movie -  Vishnu & Neeraja as the newly on-screen couples.

Vishnu, the son of film director Vinayan made his first appearance in Mollywood film industry in the film “History of Joy” which was directed by Vishnu Govindan. He had also penned the script for Hareendran Oru Nishkalankan through which he started in the film industry.

Vishnu & Sijoy Roped Into Cast Together In Prominent Roles In Gambinos

Girish Panicker Mattada directorial film “The Gambinos” is all set to hit the theatres with its first of the kind suspense thriller theme ever in Mollywood industry. Interestingly, there are casts who are meeting face to face in the professional industry for the first time. One such pair is Sijoy and Vishnu.

Sijoy Varghese is a veteran who casts in advertising and feature films, is now also a leading actor who has played many pivotal roles in popular Malayalam films like Bangalore Days, James and Alice and Abrahaminte Santhathikal etc. He represents an action role of Pradeep, a crime branch DySP in Gambinos.    

Vishnu Vinay, the son of the professional director, scriptwriter and producer Vinayan marked his footsteps into the film industry by scripting the story for the film, Hareendran Oru Nishkalankan in 2007 which was directed by his father Vinayan. Notably, his role named Musthaffa in Gambinos covers all the major scenes and also depicts a twist in the movie.

The duo combination is expected to create curiosity among the audience, the director said.

The Budding Actress Neeraja Casting A Lead Role In Gambinos

Girish Panicker Mattada who is a Sydney-based filmmaker will hit the theatres with his debutant attempt -  “The Gambinos”. In one of our before blogs, we have mentioned that Radhika Sarathkumar made a powerful comeback. Another actress handling one of the lead roles in the film is Neeraja.

Neeraja was very fond of dancing even at a very young age of three. She has showcased her performance in different stages and has won prizes for Yakshaganam and Bharatanatyam.

Neeraja started off with her career in Indian Film industry since 2013 with the Tamil film -  Aaranyam. The second one is also a Tamil movie named Kathir, which was written and directed by Arangan under the banner of VR company. Her upcoming films are on the way for release on different dates which cover “The Gambinos” too.  

She showcased with her skilful performance and debutant acting in the Mollywood through the film “KL 10 Pathu” (2015). Other movies include “Rakshadhikari Baiju” (2017) and  “Hello Dubaikkaran” (2017). Notably, she plays the lead role of Selma in Gambinos.

Girish Mattada directorial film “The Gambinos” is all set to hit the theatres in the coming months. He claims the movie is gonna make its release with a first of the kind suspense thriller theme ever in Malayalam movie will create curiosity among the viewers. Realizing such a film requires immense hard work of all casts portrayed in the movie.  

Vishnu, the son of the veteran director, scriptwriter and producer Vinayan plays the lead role in Gambinos. His character covers in almost all the major scenes and also portrays a twist in the movie. “We were not looking out for a heroic face. Many artists went in and out for the auditions in batches but found the suitable character for the role after visiting Vishnu ” the director Girish Mattada said in an interview.
