[Welp, decision has been made. For now I'll be archiving the Nyx blog. Like I said before, I haven't really had the muse for Nyx as of late. I'll keep her blog up but most likely won't be doing much with it unless the muse comes back in the future.

"Fiction isn't reality..." She mumbled with a haughty huff. Most authors of fiction novels tended to stretch the truth on how magic actually worked. They wanted it to seem like the dark arts or even simple divining was some spooky and mysterious work. It really wasn't. Not unless the mage made it out to be.

"There's no dancing." Nyx assured him. Though she did find the thought of Arthur dancing around and tripping over his own two feet to be rather amusing. "I just chant a short spell to see if there is actually a curse placed upon you."

Judging by the drop in Arthur's expression, he didn't find that to be all too exciting. While magic was interesting and could be rather intricate, there were spells that weren't all that glorious in the long run.

"Then, if you actually have a curse placed upon you, I can find something to remove it. If there really isn't a curse well...the Gods obviously didn't think too highly of you."

Nyx glanced at the tear the man had made before looking back at him. She had no doubt he could be much more ruthless than he let on. Why he respected her so much, she didn't know. But Nyx would be lying if she said she didn't hold the same amount of respect toward him.

"What is a Comic Con?" She questioned with a raised brow. Was it a festival? A celebration of sorts? For once she hadn't a clue. Why would they get weird looks outside of this con? "Does this world not wear attire like ours?"

The headache was already developing. She felt like she was losing brain cells just by hearing Setsuna talk. How could someone be so daft? It was mind boggling "I'm not complimenting you. At most I was just making an observation."

The smile that was set in place on the archer's face made it obvious to Nyx that her words still hadn't gotten through to the other woman. As much as she wanted to leave Setsuna there to dwell on her mistakes, she knew that wouldn't earn her anything from those at camp. Most everyone who found Setsuna in a trap would offer her assistance, Nyx couldn't be so cruel as to not do the same.

She let out a long sigh before kneeling down next to the trap "I'll help you. But don't try to construe this as me being nice to you." Setsuna was just another one her comrades that had an annoying quirk. One that Nyx didn't appreciate in the slightest.

"Do you not pay attention to where you're going?" Even if she was annoyed over the situation, she couldn't help be curious as to how Setsuna managed to survive or come out uninjured despite the many traps she set off. Even with the bear trap hooked to her leg, there didn't seem to be any serious injuries besides a few cuts and bruises. Nyx figured that was mostly just from falling. "Or is that flighty head of yours only good for daydreaming?"

im on the bus and my 2-year-old won’t stop crying, except you just smiled at them and they did

i asked you to babysit one time and now my child keeps asking when you will spend time with them again

you asked me to the store with you and your child, and now my distant relative we met thinks im married with a baby 

we are friends and my child’s first word was your name and im jealous but also kind of endeared

Nyx scowled at the prospect of Grima treating her like his child. The one man who treated her like an adult...suggesting such a thing. It made her skin crawl "You will not be doing that." Even if it was for their safety, she wished to be treated as she was. Mentally that is, not physically.

"What kind of strange events?" She continued on, not giving Grima much room to argue over her previous words.

If Nyx didn't end up killing the man by the end of the day, she'd be surprised with herself. Though killing wasn't something she was proud of or got enjoyment from anymore...she'd make an exception for Arthur.

She about nearly snapped when he said about moving on to step three. Nyx glared at Arthur and waved around her fist "Step three is me punch-" She took a deep breath and turned away. No, she was not going to act like a temperamental child. She may have the body of one but not the mind.

After another few relaxing breaths she looked back at Arthur and raised a brow at his suggestions. Nibelsnarf teeth? Dancing around an altar? Selling souls?

Why had she asked? She'd honestly just been curious. Something she wasn't normally. But the idea of going to presumably another world just seemed...fascinating. "Will it be dangerous?" She questioned, not that it would matter much. Nyx wasn't one to be frightened easily. She joined him on the bench and held out his old and worn book for him to take back.

It was hard to impress someone like Nyx. After everything she'd seen in her life, she didn't believe much could catch her by surprise or interest her. That book Grima had handed her was one of those few rare things that piqued her interest.

"Amazing..." She mumbled under her breath, flipping through the pages of the book. She had stopped walking to better look through the different pages, examining the weapons she had never seen before. "You said you created this world? The one in this book?"
